I gave Tacobee’s four stars mainly because of my first experience with their nachos. You’d expect a decent amount of cheese to coat the chips, but they used this tiny ladle and barely spread any on — it probably covered less than a quarter of my nachos. That was disappointing. However, I still rated everything else top marks — the staff, atmosphere, and overall food quality. The staff is genuinely polite and friendly, the food is flavorful, and the vibe inside is really nice. That one nacho experience just had me like ugh. That said, I’d be willing to try the nachos again. The first time I had them was shortly after they opened, so I’m curious if they’re still being stingy with the cheese or if they’re more generous now — hopefully at least two scoops next time! This time around, I ordered a burrito bowl with half grilled chicken and half birria, Mexican rice, pinto beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, queso, cilantro, and their cilantro sauce. It was so good. My boyfriend got tacos and tried honey chicken, steak, and regular chicken in a 2-2-2 combo style. For both our meals it came to about $45! The food hasn’t missed yet, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!

This place was amazing!! I was visiting New York and saw this place on TikTok being advertised as a “better Chipotle with bigger portions” and that description was accurate. My bf, who is a die hard chipotle guy, even said this was better. The service was so good. They didn’t rush us and gave us a bunch of sauces on the side. I’m glad I took the drive over here (and you should too)!

Absolutely amazing and phenomenal store, service is great and consistent as well as the food. Tastes delicious would highly recommend, way better than Chipotle 🥰

Finally made it to this place definitely it lived to the hype! The food looks fresh, the place is clean and staff very friendly. I had a burrito bowl with steak and a bunch of toppings, it was absolutely delicious and the amount served was a lot! They serve you a lot of everything and the price was only $16.00 something. Officially one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. If you love Mexican style food this is the place to come!

Great place i came here for lunch today and tried the honey chicken bowl the taste is amazing and the portion was great to and their homemade sauce damnn i am coming again . Highly recommended. Best mexican food ever

Had the veggie burrito bowl at TacoBees and it was so good! Super fresh ingredients, packed with flavor, and really filling. Loved how everything was well balanced, not too heavy, not too bland. The vibe was chill and the staff was friendly too. Definitely coming back next time I’m craving something tasty and satisfying!

I recently ordered an amazing burrito bowl for a group, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! We customized our bowls with our favorite ingredients, and the staff at Taco Bee were incredible. They not only prepared our orders quickly but also made each bowl super tasty. Chipotle who??? This place was soo good. The lines don't lie. Always crowded. Better ingredients, better bowls TACOBEES? LOL . Chicken doesn't taste frozen but fresh. I've had the shredded chicken (amazing) as well as the honey chicken (amazing) in a bowl. Portions are a great size so great bang for your buck.

This place is amazing! So glad i decided to walk in here, i was blown away by the flavors and options. I love tacos & i can't believe i never knew this was here. The service was fast and accurate and the ambiance was very comfortable to enjoy your meal in peace with good music. Can't wait to be back! I had 1 soft shrimp taco 1 soft steak taco and 1 hard ground beef.

Today was my first time at Tacobee's. I woke up busting out of my work clothes from all of this weight I keep gaining and my outfit decided it was time for a salad. I walked into this place and was greeted by all of the tasty Tex-Mex salad goodies. Tacobee's offers mixed salad greens, beans, a few meat and poultry options and veggie goodies like fried cauliflower. I ordered a salad bowl topped with shredded chicken, guac, corn, green goddess dressing and a lime wedge on the side. It was fresh and tasty. A big plus was that all of the hot cooked foods had actual smoky steam wafting from it. Tacobee's has a cute black and white, tile design. Maybe I'll sit in for lunch before my next nail salon trip. Good stuff.

HOLY MOTHER OF BURRITOS!!!! What have I done to deserve such a delicious and delectable burrito that's nearly the size of my Forearm? That thang was so stuffed i'm surprised they were able to roll it to perfection. The rice and meat ratio is outstanding. Chipotle could never! That's not even exaggeration. That burrito was SO BIG, I cradled it like a newborn baby. The bowls and burrito were a delightful explosion of flavors, with the aroma matching my expectations. To my surprise, it was milder than I anticipated, with the Cilantro sauce, Spicy Queso, and mango habanero working in perfect harmony. The unique flavors complemented each other, allowing each component to shine without overwhelming the meat. My only minor complaint is that there is no white meat, I've noticed it's all dark meat including the shredded chicken. Regardless it was all delicious and I'll definitely be ordering again.

Overall rating: 4.3 I've been wanting to check this place out ever since it opened. The influencers sold me on "a better tasting, serving sized chipotle". Ehhhhh. Tbh I don't think it even falls with chipotle as a comparison, more qdoba energy. I thought it was good, but they get you on the add-ons pricing. Very popular place but I don't think it was worth it to me. The lighting is obnoxiously bright. And is it a weird statement to say all of the staff was one race? It was weird. I'm not sure if I'll be coming out of my way again, but it's a great spot for a fast eat.

Great spot for a quick bite just around the corner from me! Was craving a good burrito but as it's the fourth of july a lot of places were closed, but they were still open around 4:30. The burrito was massive which I loved as most of the burritos I've had in nyc have been really small and as someone originally from california I'm used to pretty big burritos for a cheap price. I got a steak burrito with guacamole and it came out to $13 total which I'm not mad about at all. There were like 5-7 people working there when I stopped by, some making/refilling food, some taking orders and someone else cashiering. My burrito was made pretty quick so I was able to get in and out in about 5 minutes. The burrito was full of flavor and more than enough food to fill me up. Will definitely be stopping by again!

I'm torn. What I received was delish but my dish was missing a lot of items! I heard about this spot and wanted to try them out. Opted for delivery. FYI different prices on uber eats vs grub hub. I ordered the burrito bowl with cilantro sauce, romaine lettuce, Mexican cheese, red chopped onions, spicy salsa, spicy queso, black beans, cilantro lime rice and steak. Sounds delish right?! Food arrives in record time! Excited about that. After 2 bites I realized that 4 items were missing! Willing to give them another try just not sure about delivery.

I'll start by saying this - Chipotle who?! A great team where everyone is active and looks to get your order ready in an ample amount of time. I mean literally, 10min wait time. And the great portion sizes are more than enough. You will not only be full but you will happy. You just might be hungry for more. The restaurant is chill. Good tunes to match the good eats. You can feel the good energy in each bite. Before I end this, the honey chicken, top notch!

Similar style to Chipotle restaurants but the food here is more flavourful in my opinion and definitely less expensive. Quick services and the staff is very friendly. The protein options grilled chicken, honey Chipotle chicken , shredded chicken, ground beef, steak and they have shrimp and tofu options too. The server let me try the shrimp even though I was ordering something else. Generous portions especially with the protein. Rice bowls, tacos , burritos , quesadillas and salads . You choose up to 8 toppings along with your rice , beans and protein, then choice of 2 sauces. Large selection of Jarrito flavors for drinks. I saw a couple pre portioned desserts ,honestly didn't pay much attention, I think one may have been flan . High point for me was the taste of the food - very well seasoned and fresh. Oh and they are open till 3am. We went in a few minutes before 12am and there was a quick moving but substantial line. People were mostly taking food to go but there are tables and room to sit and eat comfortably. Great spot for late night eats.

Thankful this place exists. They FILL UP your burrito bowl and don't skimp out on the chicken. You can also get queso and two sauces for no extra cost. Plus, it's a late night spot that's open till 3AM. I will be ordering from here more. Chipotle who???

So I'm VERY happy to give this a 5 stars, but this is for sure not a 6 star; as in, I don't think it's worth the trek to Crown Heights, but it is quite good and better than Chipotle. It's the same price (if not cheaper, ~$11 for my Tofu burrito) with better sauces (they've got some cremas and chipotle mayo sauce, which is electric) and a great vegetarian protein I'd say. Their tofu is better than Sofritas, no doubt. The space was pretty filled this Friday evening, but that's a great thing; we still got seating and the service was quick. Again, it's better than Chipotle but it's not out-of-this-world better, so it's not a place I would travel to get to again, but if I was around and was craving a nice FILLING meal, this is a great option.

Great spot! It's like Chipotle but feels healthier. The ingredients just taste fresher and better. I got a gigantor burrito with chicken, rice, beans, cheese, pico, sour cream - ya know, the basics - and it was very tasty. I definitely think I'll make this my new burrito/burrito bowl spot. The service was exceptionally friendly and they've got plenty of seating. Really impressed by my first visit!

Did an order from one of the popular apps. Excellent food! Fresh ingredients and a great amount of flavor. The burrito bowl was super tasty, everything in that dish was excellent. Well flavored throughout. The nachos with shredded chicken was also excellent! If this was good after waiting for a delivery, I can only imagine having the meal at the restaurant. That's my next goal, thank you Tacobee for such an awesome meal!

I needed some late-night comfort food and I saw nothing but good reviews here so I ordered via Uber Eats and gave it a shot. Delivery was as expected. The packaging was great, everything was together. They did include utensils, but no side sauces. I ordered 3 Soft Tortillas Tacos, with Sweet and Spicy Shrimp, spicy queso, red chopped onion, Mexican cheese mix, lettuce, cilantro sauce, and sweet mango verde sauce. With everything I just mentioned I thought the flavors would jump out at me, however, they didn't. I had so much hope in the taste of these tacos. I even picked up the shrimp and ate it alone and it assured/disappointed me that I was right. The cheese I would've expected to be a bit melted like the images I've seen on Yelp, but they weren't. I would say, for a late-night taco spot, the food is incredibly fresh, however, there is a lack of seasoning.

Went here on an impromptu date night yesterday and still great food. They feel like when I use to eat at grandmas house - made sure you get fed and fed well. It was excellent and a lot - one gets their money's worth. Way better than chipotle. And their friendly and generous with quantity. The place is popular as well since that door kept swinging open. Oh and their sweet mango salsa verde is delicious! I recommend folks check it out - and their open until 3am.

Stopped here for a quick dinner before a party. Service was fast and food was hot and tasty-- though the grilled chicken could be juicer. The honey chicken taco was my favorite. Decently priced-- and they have other options like bowls and quesadillas.

Love all of the options that they have at Tacobees.! And unlikely Chipotle, there's a seafood option (shrimp) which I can't wait to try. Ordered a burrito bowl. Asked for half salad/half rice and they were happy to do it. Ended up getting the honey chicken and a variety of toppings. Btw, I also love that they have lime wedges and plain cilantro as add-ons! I believe you can add 8 things to your bowl, but I think I got around 6. Either way, the person wasn't counting or pressuring me about it, which was cool. Overall, I enjoyed my bowl. I do wish the honey chicken had more flavor. It was just... sweet. Maybe there was a hint of bbq. But it needed something else. Either more or a smokey/grilled flavor, some heat, more garlic... just... something more. But it wasn't bad by any means! I also wish I'd added some spicy salsa or jalapeños, I think that would've kicked it up a notch, but I didn't need those kind of indigestion problems lol. Restaurant itself was clean, I saw good hygiene and food safety being practiced. There are a handful of tables, which is cool if you want to eat inside. They seemed busy, but I barely waited 30 seconds to be helped and they seemed to be pushing out delivery and takeout orders without any issues! Staff was friendly. Prices are good. Portions are great. I'll definitely be back soon to try other things!

These tacos were decent, not the absolute best in Brooklyn, but they hit the spot when I was in the area and craving some quick and tasty Mexican food!

After my gym session, I decided to visit Tacobee for a healthy meal. I opted for the burrito bowl, which included rice, beans, and chipotle chicken. The portion was so generous that it lasted me for two days. The flavors were rich and satisfying, making each bite enjoyable. I believe this Tacobee location could easily compete with nearby Chipotle restaurants, and in my opinion, it might even surpass them in quality. I only wish Tacobee had more locations.

The food was absolutely amazing. I love how the shrimp was seasoned with all the flavors of the burrito bowl. The service was friendly and warm. The space is casual and laid back. I will definitely be back again.

I was so disappointed because I drove 30 mins out of my way to try this food when there is a Chipotle 5 mins from my work. Please clean up your restaurant. Live mice and rodents in your food is horrible to hear from the health department!!!!! I'm glad I did not buy food there.

Started good but I think there's msg in certain foods or in the prep of their meat - I had the worst headache after having a grill chicken bowl . I get msg is in a lot of things but I have the same item a try on a different night same results.

Ordered delivery from here one night and was very impressed. Not only are the portions huge, but the quality was very solid and the flavors excellent. Love the variety they offer, the fact they have crispy tacos and all their sauces they offer. The honey chipotle chicken is phenomenal. Can't wait to try more of the menu.

I will be coming here more often instead of chipotle! Ordered for take out and they did not disappoint! Got a burrito bowl and nachos. The bowl was very filling and super flavorful. The steak was juicy and flavorful and a lot of it! The beans and rice were good. Also got fajita veggies and they were good. The cilantro sauce has a slight kick but is so good. My only downfall is that they don't put a lot of toppings. Can't taste the queso, barely any cheese or sauce. For the nachos it was a good size and very filling! Can't taste the queso, good amount of meat (steak) for paying extra for quac they don't give much at all! Chips were nicely salted and crispy. Mango sauce was not too bad sweet, tangy, and a little heat. ( Asked for it it on the side) I definitely will be coming back to this place!

Took my 16-year-old niece who is a fanatic of Chipotle restaurant and she loved this place. She actually said they were better than Chipotle and that was hard for her to say because that's one of her favorite places. Plus she's an incredibly tough critic. Service was fast, and the food was fresh and delicious. We will be returning again. Hope you do the same soon.

Wow! This neighborhood desperately needed a versatile restaurant like this. I was walking on Nostrand Ave yesterday and noticed tacobees. After checking the place out I decided to try the food and was not disappointed. The format here is similar to chipotle but that's where the comparison stops because the food is considerably better. FLAVOR is the difference maker here. I tried the steak, grilled chicken and honey chipotle chicken tacos. Each meat had a distinct flavor profile an not bland tasting like other similar places. The veggies and guac were FRESH. While I was there I saw them constantly swapping out toppings to maintain the freshness. I loved the fact that their habanero sauce was actually HOT. My tacos were 5/5. What I appreciate most about tacobees is the value. Nowadays it seems like if you don't spend $15 in a restaurant your going to still be hungry after you eat. Tacobees is giving you 3 tacos filled with meat for around $11. By the time I finished the second taco I was already full. I got my monies worth and more which means everything in this economy. I'll definitely be back to tacobees, especially since I realized they have loaded fries that I have to try. This business is a nice addition to a community could benefit from high quality food at a great price.

The food is awesome. The only thing is is that the customer service is not up-to-date. The people is very disrespectful of talking about the customers behind a back. I see it with my own eyes so I would recommend this store for the food, but the customer service is not there and need to do better.

I would never try a place with just two reviews. But I'm Keto now. Tired from just working out. So I was desperate. This place has a Keto bowl that is so good! Glad I tried it.

This place is pretty close to one of my favorite spots, Munchies. The layout is similar to a Chipotle. You order the food and it's put together assembly line style. Quite efficient. I ordered a few tacos and found them to be a little bland, but I'm told the quesadilla is way better. So I may stop by for another chance.

Not the best picture but damn chipotle it's a wrap for you . Staff was really nice and the decor is so cute. It was my first time and this guy (I think his name was Moda) walked me through the menu and let me try a couple of the options in my bowl like a "sampler". I ended up with the honey chipotle chicken and shredded chicken it was amazinggg! The chipotle sauce/mango verde/cilantro sauces were crazyyyyy. I will definitely be back!!!! Tacobee's is definitely the reason why I don't even pay attention to Chipotle's anymore. First I've had no complaints on any of there items, secondly there portions will keep you super full!!! I've had their honey chipotle chicken bowl which is super bomb!! Their chicken quesadilla is perfect and there nachos are super savory!!! But the cherry on top is that there open super late!

Central jersey needs you tacobees I Promise you will have it on lock and chipotle & Qdoba will get ran off the block. Look into rt 1 (highway foot traffic 247) around edsion,Woodbridge area, in between Menlonpark mall and Woodbridge mall... you will clean up quickly. Decent rent,store size and ample parking.

Had high hopes, and they severely underdelivered. $26.10 for two orders of tacos, one order hard shells, with the honey chicken, the other soft shells, with shrimp. I didn't taste the hard shells, but the chicken looked delicious, and the portion size of chicken looked good. The fact that each base starts at $9.99, the chicken was $1 extra, the shrimp was $3 extra. The shrimp looked great, which is why I chose it instead of the honey chicken, coupled with they had just brought out some freshly cooked shrimp. Here's the major issue: why are you counting shrimp, 3-4 per taco? I think he scooped out 5 for the first taco, and proceeded to take one off and put it on the next taco. When I finally got to eat the tacos, there wasn't even 1 shrimp per bite. One taco had 4, the second had 3, and the last tasted like it may have had 4, but probably had 3. Add that there aren't enough choices for toppings (it said pick 8, and seemed like there were only 8 to choose from, not including the guac which costs extra). When it was time to pay, the guy who made my orders took the money wearing the same gloves that he just made the food while wearing. That's not sanitary at all, and I hope he had changed his gloves before making our food, especially since he touched the tacos. It wasn't too busy, and the space wasn't crowded, but I've seen it hella crowded before. $26.10 for good, not great (out of a package, saw him refill the soft tacos out of a package) tacos, and no beverages, I'll probably look elsewhere next time.

Slightly overpriced. But everything was AMAZING! There food was very flavorful and service was great, and employees were very kind. As a teen who has little time but needs a fresh,fast,filling, and tasty dish this the place to go.

The food here is soooooo good! Highly recommended. And Uber eats has a BOGO deal that makes the price super reasonable. We've been visiting NY for a week and have eaten here multiple times! 10/10 recommend!

I usually pass up on chipotle so any chipotle variations I tend to not even give them a try until one hungry drunk night I had a blind taste and was blown away. Think chipotle but not as expensive. A regular bowl with all the toppings from here would probably be what chipotle charges double for. My absolute favorite meal to get is the chicken quesadilla. The prices is decent the food is actually great and they close mad late. 5 stars for sure.

Not sure what to say but they have some slick sauces and options here. It's like a step up from a chipotle. Loved the spicy honey chicken (might be a different name can't remember) their mango sauce was bomb in a best kind of way. Also loved their cilantro sauce and chipotle sauce. Their steak burrito was solid. And they have an ok guac and chips. Service was rough but they also freebied one of our items because they are training people and it was hard. So I give it a 4. Notes, turn down the music. I couldn't hear the chef and they were not native English speaker so lots of repeating myself. 2nd the menu has animations that make it so you can't see the options. Recommend cutting those cause they add 0 value and make it harder to pick and order in general.

This place is better than Chipotle, in my opinion. They offer tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas. This place does not disappoint. The meat is juicy and not dry and most of the other ingredients are fresh. I can't wait to go back again.

Hmm how do I put this.. If you like chipotle then you'll die for tacobees. At first I thought I was the only one who felt this way, this was until a taxi driver came in and said he lives in jersey but always stops in Brooklyn just for tacobees. The interior itself is spacious with plenty of room to sit if you decide to dine in. They also have almost every flavor of Jaritto in existence so there are plenty of beverage options available. There is a kiosk where you can place your order but you can also do it the traditional way by telling someone behind the counter. It's great to mention that the staff is super friendly and always engaging. You want to know about the food right lol. First off the venue is 100% Halal. They offer bowls, soft and hard shell tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos along with chips and quac. All banging!!! I've tried every single thing and it's delicious. What separates them from the rest are the amount of toppings and combinations of sauces available. My favorite? The soft shell tacos with shrimp, queso, corn salsa, chipotle sauce and sour cream... Thank me later and go check them out : ) Side note: I just realized this is probably the only place I have never taken a pic of my food. I just demolish it lol

Excellent quality and flavorful Halal chipotle-like menu. The toppings and sauces come in spicy and non-spicy version. The meat is all flavored and cut to the perfect size for eating in store or on the go. For a small additional charge, you can mix the meats or get extra meat. I think it was just a dollar extra but can't remember. Staff is very friendly and helpful in making suggestions if it's your first time there like it was for me I got a rice bowl and I could not even finish the entire thing in one sitting. There is a decent amount of seating for a spot in Brooklyn. It's a takeout kind of spot, but you can definitely sit there because it's clean with a cool vibe, but busy even on the weekdays when I went. Shout out to our server Dhanish

The portions are large, however the steak and toppings lack flavor. The steak was also over cooked and tough. The spicy salsa was the highlight of the dishes. Save your time and just head to chipotle. The service and ambiance was great, though! The line moved quickly and the workers were attentive.

I patronized the restaurant for the first time on Monday evening, July 1, ordered 3 corn tacos with shredded chicken, ground beef and steak; and a quesadilla for pick up. I ate the shredded chicken taco and was about to eat the ground beef taco when I saw a roach crawling on my steak taco. I grabbed my phone, video taped it and then killed it. I took it and the food back to the restaurant. I got a refund, spoke to the owner who was dismissive and claimed the roach must have crawled into my meal in my home. He offered $100 gift certificate to bring my family back. Really? WHY would I ever eat there again. I wish I could give them negative stars. Here's the video. I

Had this spot on my radar for months now. Finally got to try it, went 45 min out of my way to do so, and honestly? Same quality and taste as chipotle a few blocks from my apartment. Seriously mid quality. Employees were kind, that's about the only positive I took away from this experience.
