Google
This is a popular taco fish restaurant that locals visit for breakfast too. We joined a crowd of locals on a Saturday morning after a beautiful walk along the boardwalk; even though Google hours said 8:30 opening, it actually opened at 9:00 am. We ordered hibiscus flavored drinks (pictured) that were unique and interesting. The fish taco - the main attraction here - was good. Fried fish on corn tortillas with access to a decent toppings bar for salsa and sauces. I also had a taco torito shrimp which is a fried pepper with shrimp inside on a corn tortilla. Never had anything like it before. A good local experience for a different kind of breakfast. Highly recommend it. My friend had a shrimp burrito. Three drinks and three items came to 300 Pesos. 👍 if you find this useful.

Google
We had high expectations for this place for being well known restaurant. Unfortunately the food was not all that. The fish was bland and the toppings did not add a lot of flavor to it. Still a solid place to have tacos but nothing special. BTW shrimp was better than the fish and the marlin was also a good choice.

Google
Delicious fish tacos and worth trying if you are in La Paz. They bring the tacos to your table and there is a condiments bar where you can add different toppings and sauces. There is also private parking if you are driving here so very convenient

Want to merge yourself to the La Paz Culture? Need to go here and enjoy the best fish tacos. You can add all of your own toppings and spices. Great place and hope you enjoy it

Google
A huge fish taco. The size of my hand! I wish the staff warned me when we ordered 4 between my daughter and me. I ended up throwing away 2 of them. The cost was cheap but I don’t like wasting food. The fish was crispy and flakey good

Google
Went to this people as a group. It was fantastic. Loved the pescado and Cameron ( Shrimp) Tacos. All fresh. You order your food, get a number snd food arrives. Then you go to condiment bar and choose toppings. They have good selection of local beers. The price is really great.

Google
Taco Fish in La Paz is an absolute must visit! We went here with a group of four for lunch and it was so good we ended up coming back for a second round. This spot is super casual with an awesome locals vibe, but the flavors are what really blew us away. I ordered the crab crunchy taco, shrimp crunchy taco, and the fish taco—all of them were incredible. We also got a mixed seafood ceviche for the table to share, which was super fresh and packed with flavor. The salsa bar was next level with such a huge selection of hot sauces, salsas, and toppings. Nice to customize each bite, especially for this spice queen. Hard to pick a favorite because everything was so good! The prices are super reasonable, making it an easy and budget-friendly spot to grab a delicious meal. Whether you’re just visiting or live nearby, Taco Fish is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Highly recommend fish taco and shrimp taco. Both are huge size and super tasty. They have a separate station for toppings and sauces. Order first and pay later. Very clean and casual and modern ambience with easy music. Horchata was amazing as well. It had small strawberry chunks. Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
Beautiful setting overlooking the Malecón. It was still cool enough to sit outside. Our servers were friendly and attentive. The menus are in Spanish and English. They serve mostly fried and some grilled seafood items as well as ceviches. There's a bar of condiments to garnish the tacos. Although we rarely eat fried foods, we starving after a morning of swimming and snorkeling and decided to try a variety of fried items. The tacos were very good, especially the shrimp and fish. The batter was the best we'd had, very crispy and flavorful, even though I removed some to save room. The tortillas are not handmade. The crab taco dorado was ok. It's a matter of taste, but we did not really like the smoked fish and so we didn't care for the empanada or smoked fish taco. The red sauce was spicy and good, especially with some lime. We skipped the slaws. We'll try some ceviche next trip to La Paz. Prices are reasonable considering the ambiance, service and portions. There are a few dedicated parking spaces and lots of free street parking.

Yelp
Shrimp Quesadilla! Great spot on the coast! Salsa and ensalada bar to dress the taco is super fun.

Yelp
Very casual atmosphere but one of our favorite fish restaurants in LA paz, Baja California sur, mexico. welcoming staff is always friendly and helpful, checking up on you constantly. The food is served when it's ready so some items may come before others but they are served usually within minutes of each other. There's a full array of drinks such as margaritas, beer and jimacha as well as soft drinks. We enjoyed the ceviche tostada, shrimp tostada, and fish tacos. Each plate was enough for two full servings. We left quite content. Our total price for three plates which equal to about six items, a beer and a jimacha drink was $10 plus a dollar tip so a total of $11 for lunch today. It's fresh, very refreshing and totally satisfying. we will stop here every time we're in la Paz.

Yelp
Outstanding tacos, garnishes and sauces with a great view of the bay in La Paz. Service was friendly. Cash or PayPal only though. Try the ceviches and the crab tacos.

Yelp
Every time I passed this place, it had a line of people waiting to get in. The workers hover all over the place like a beehive. From opening time till closing time this place is buzzing with activity. Upon arriving in La Paz I asked several locals what a typical place is where the locals eat. They all pointed me towards this place. The specialty here is the classic baja fish taco. What is a classic fish taco? It's lightly battered then fried fish that is placed in a tortilla also it includes crema (mayo sauce), julienned cabbage, and some bottled hot sauce or homemade spicey salsa and we can't forget a squeeze of lime. There are many slight variations, but they are all very similar. Unfortunately for me, there are only a few restaurants back in Chicago that get this right. But the biggest difference being the freshness of the fish. The fish being used here were never frozen and were probably swimming in the sea or ocean just a few hours before. And yes, you can tell the difference. I am a huge fan of correctly done baja fish tacos and this place does an outstanding job of pumping out a huge amount of excellent tacos from their open format kitchen. As if the excellent seafood wasn't enough, you might even enjoy the pricing even better. Because excellent seafood is plentiful here the price of a fish taco hovers around $2! A typical fish portion is almost as big as the tortilla itself. Any new arrival that enjoys seafood should place this place at the top of their must eat restaurants. You will not regret it!

Yelp
One of our best meals in La Paz! We got the shrimp and fish's tacos and marlin empanadas. All were good but we loved the shrimp tacos. It was delicious and very good priced ~35 pesos each. They have a bunch of yummy condiments. The service is fast and efficient. They only take cash!
google avatar

Mayra G.

Yelp
Great fish tacos! They are huge! The shrimp quesadilla was delicious! Their condiment bar is huge. Great indoor and outdoor seating. The service is great.
google avatar

Tom B.

Yelp
Exceptional fish and shrimp tacos. Outstanding condiment bar. It has anything you could imagine putting on your taco. We had the Baja style (deep fried) fish and shrimp tacos they were cooked perfectly and had a great taste. We highly recommend this nicely decorated open air restaurant.

Yelp
GIANT fried fish portion tacos. Delicious! Cash only. Better than their competitor behind by the skate park.
google avatar

Yelp
Best fried shrimp and fish tacos I've had in La Paz. Very fresh and tasty. Service was great . They serve your tacos with the fish only and they have a cart filled with whatever toppings you want. Menu is limited, but I suspect that makes what they serve better. Definitely a go-to place in La Paz!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is great, the restaurant is clean and the service is good. They have a whole salad bar like set up with shredded cabbage, pickled vegetables, salsas and more

Yelp
Delicoso! Best priced delicious tacos in LaPaz! And so fresh!!! The ceviche was also really good. We went 3 times within the week we were there.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely 5 stars! Everything we tried was delicious and for the price a steal. We ate the fish taco, octopus quesadilla, marlin empanada, a torito of shrimp and the tostada de ceviche of shrimp. The strawberry horchata was amazing! They only take cash btw :)

Yelp
This place is the cornerstone of all fish tacos in La Paz. They are the standard for all other tacos around! If you come to La Paz you have to come here at least 3 times!!! I love this place more that my kids!!!

Yelp
I've made the move here to La Paz and have been coming here for the last three years, but full-time for the last nine months and it wasn't up until just a few days ago that I went here for the first time. The food was delicious, the service was mediocre And the ambience is just a happy place. People enjoying delicious food and I love that they offer such a variety of condiments. I would give it five stars but I haven't been there enough and this one time that I went, I was done with my food before they brought my beverage. I'm not mad about that but I will wait and see what happens when I go visit again.
google avatar

Kiela J.

Yelp
There is always a line and that is a great sign of good good. The shrimp tacos were amazing and the condiments were spot on for our lunch.

Yelp
Best fried mariscos tacos in La Paz! Limited menu but executed perfectly. Love the fried shrimp. And the quesadilla de camarones. Off the beaten path but worth finding. The 5 peso up charge for flour tortillas is kind of lame considering the tortilleria is on the same corner and you get a kilo for like 30 pesos, which is at least 25 tortillas. Otherwise it would be a straight up 5 stars.

Loretta M.

Yelp
Food is great. It has a great amount. Service is fast. Cool ambience very good music.

Jerry H.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Was looking forward to something special after reading all of the outstanding reviews.BTW i noticed Sheila and Benjamin's food review photos are the same even though 2 month's apart. Wondering if all the great reviews are faked. Ordered 3 Tacos De Camaron. Upon the plate arrival there were what appeared to be 3 large breaded shrimps per taco. While eating the first taco I tasted only the greasy "breaded" portion with minimal shrimp. I removed the breading on the remaining 2 tacos hoping to get more of a shrimp taste (see photo) and discovered 6 very emaciated shrimp. Don't be deceived by the great reviews and if you do order the shrimp tacos be prepared for greasy batter flavor instead of shrimp

Yelp
simplemente los mejores tacos de camarón en toda la baja sur!! deliciosos no duden en ir! apoyen local!

Yelp
Very good! Lots of locals, nice seating area with cool decor. Food was yummy and the salsa bar had a bunch of options. I had three tacos: fish, shrimp, and crab. All were delicious. YES- you order, sit, eat, then pay. Not that confusing.

Yelp
The best .... seriously the Best fish tacos in town. I ordered the fish (pescado) taco and the shrimp (camarón) quesadilla. They have a salad bar with different toppings for your food. I wanted to taste the empanadas because I heard they were good, but I was so full after. The tacos are big size. You have to make line to order, they take your name and order, they hand you the food, find a table, eat and then come back to pay. I really recommend this place , is awesome !!!
google avatar

Carlos E.

Yelp
Very tasty fish tacos, I enjoyed my agua de jaimaca, restaurant decor is nice, it's an open air and clean establishment. Manager made us feel welcome.
google avatar

Yelp
Fried fish pre-made, not good. The worst food that I have had in Mexico. People rave but they must be from New Jersey
google avatar

Dannie L.

Yelp
Pretty good, but they don't speak a lot of English. I ordered a fish taco and shrimp quesadilla in Spanish and the food was pretty good. I enjoyed their salad bar and sauces, it was a good variety. I wished I had read the other review that says you pay after you eat so I didn't have to struggle between my Spanglish and their limited English to learn that. I have a good feeling they can easily identify tourists, but I appreciated their kindness in just smiling when they didn't understand me and the effort they tried to put in to communicate with me.

Yelp
The wait time was very long for me to get my food. I ordered ceviche made from fish and then also ceviche from shrimp which might have added to the wait time since the main entrees are the breaded seafood items.my food's taste just didn't warrant the time it took to receive it (half of my table was done eating by the time I received it). I do recommend the horchata though and the shrimp quesadillas they make (just shrimp, white cheese, and tortilla- no breading!). I had mixed reactions with the workers. One of them was very dismissive ignoring me and another one was very helpful. I was treated to the food here, I'm not sure I would go out of my way to come here if I was on my own and paying.

Yelp
This was recommended to us by our Isla tour guides, but told that we needed to go early because "when they sell out, they sell out." Fish tacos, crispy tacos, ceviche, quesadillas- all were yummy here. It is an open air establishment and it was a hot day, so we were a bit uncomfortable as we ate. It was off the beaten path of the Malecon, and clearly a local favorite among Pasenos. Helpful staff for our limited knowledge of the fish taco world here in La Paz.
google avatar

Sascha M.

Yelp
Best fish taco place that we found in La Paz. They have a great selection of tacos, including fried fish and shrimp tacos, blue crab tacos and cheese shrimp tacos. Also recommended is the water lemon agua fresca. Very nice atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
Great tacos a bit off the tourist beaten path. Nice salsa bar. Inviting casual decor. We had fried shrimp and fried dorado tacos.
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
I searched far and wide for REALLY good seafood tacos, I'm profoundly grateful that I stumbled upon this shop instead of all the expensive and over-priced tourist traps (trust me, I've had my fair share this trip). The fish and shrimp tacos are must-haves that demotes a lot of Southern California shops to wanting. Lastly, the prices are great and just what you expect when you travel to Mexico. Never mind that girl who gave this place only four stars because they didn't speak "a lot of English." You're in a different country and speaking their tongue is part of the experience.

Yelp
Delicious fish tacos. Excellent value, perfect topping options, clean, and efficient. Only problem was they were out of their hats. Highly recommended for a casual meal.

Yelp
Incredibly friendly service, delicious Baja tacos, quesadillas, burritos, y agua frescas! The condiments were super flavorful and the locals were very helpful to us gringos! Definitely a La Paz favorite.
