Tacos Cancun

Our party of three got a burrito 🌯 and two quesadillas around 5:30pm. The food was very good - it came out quickly and HOT 🔥. They were, however, out of guac 🥑, which takes out a lot of their menu and food possibilities ❌😵. They did refund us for the guac we had already purchased but it was a major bummer 😔 because they weren’t that close to closing time 🕢. Probably would come back but if they’re out of guac again I wouldn’t return…

I was near the area because I was waiting for traffic to die down and it was about time to eat, so after looking around at a few places I decided to go here! First of all, this place gives off mom and pop shop vibes (i love this vibe very much). Worker was very friendly and helpful in helping me decide what to get. I settled for the fish taco combo (comes with rice and beans). Chips were also included. I also was craving carne asada fries so… had to splurge and get that too . Food was great! I really enjoyed this entire meal. Flavors were on point. The only downside (more about preference) is the cheese used on the fries. Im not the biggest fan of liquid cheese but other than that, the fries were crispy, the carne asada was moist and flavorful, and that guacamole was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a no frills, mom and pop style mexican meal!

The perfect asada tacos, I kid you not. The meat is diced nice and small and is the perfect firmness while being juicy. The sala is the right blend of spicy, but doesn't burn going down, just leaves your mouth and lips warm. The chips are thin and salty and just a dream, especially when paired with the salsa. I travel a lot for work, so I have a lot of really mediocre tacos, and these are definitely not mediocre, they're fantastic.

Really good food. Straight forward menu. Got a couple of carnitas street tacos and a potato taco (hard shell). Had some cassava fries as well…really good! Will definitely come back!

Haven't had good Carne asada in a while. Those fries hit the spot. I'm from Cali but haven't been home in 15 years. That good made me feel like home I loved it.

Agreed - the best Mexican food in Glendale! I've been searching for a place like this. Great small restaurant feel. AH-mazing food. Small parking lot out front. I got thr wet burrito and the fish taco, both delicious. Warm chips served while you wait.

The food was amazing I had a caldo de res and some shrimp tacos by far one of the best Mexican places I’ve had in a while. 10 out of 10 recommend based on price and quality!

Food was so good. If I am ever in the area will definitely be back. The only drawback is there is no public restroom.

I had an incredible experience at Tacos Cancun! The service was absolutely wonderful--friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The burritos were fantastic--packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of spices. You can really tell they put care into their food. Another huge plus is the free parking, which made the visit even more convenient. It's not every day you find a place with great food and hassle-free parking! I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to everyone. Five stars all the way!

Wow. This was the dryest burrito I ever had. I don't know how you miss on a burrito. It was hard to swallow and had no flavor. I was hoping this place was good but it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I threw it away.

The service was amazing! The food was even more incredible and I really loved everything about it! Go support, go eat and go enjoy! And always remember to tip!! :)

Always get tasty tacos here. Nicely seasoned fish tacos plate this time. Good portions. Space is always clean& tidy. staff is efficient& friendly.

SO delicious! We were at the zoo, and the kid wanted tacos. Sounded good to me, so Yelp brought us 6 minutes away. It's in a strip mall with ample parking. They have two 2-person tables outside, and 5 or 6 inside. We were met with a standard, but sufficient menu. We were also met with fabulous attentive service. She greeted us, answered questions helpfully, was proactive about offering water, came out to clean tables, and offered smiles. We were served chips and salsa. Some of the best salsa I've had! We both got tacos. The kid got chicken. I got shrimp. He dug in immediately with an, "Mmmm." I tasted mine, which were definitely an, "Mmmm" as well. Delicious and worth returning!

Solid carne asada burrito. All ingredients tasted fresh and the meat flavor really came through while not being too salty. Great balance of flavors and ingredients. I was surprised by the free side of chips and pico de gallo. $10.50 w tax is a steal in Glendale!

Good food & service, it's a little small inside. Definitely more like a take out place. Only con is; It's a little pricey for what you get.

Small little place in a tiny strip mall. Mexican food, liquor store, Halal Market, European Pastry Shop, Jewelry store, etc... a real multi-purpose corner strip mall with cramped parking. You'll need to maneuver your car into the many angled spots. Tacos Cancun is mostly a take-out place that has some tables if you want to eat there. You order at one window and pick up at the second window. Service is prompt and polite. I had the Two Fish Taco Combo which comes with rice, beans, chips and salsa. Also ordered a large Horchata with limited ice. The fish chunks were tasty on the soft corn tacos. Overall, good tasty food, not overly expensive, quick and polite service on Christmas Eve afternoon. Feliz Navidad.

Seeing all these good reviews motivated me to go! However I can attest this was not my greatest experience. I ordered a quesadilla with Jamaica and my partner ordered a torta with horchata. After receiving the order, they gave me the wrong plate. They gave me a burrito instead. I told them I asked for a quesadilla and they changed it. But the drinks were so so sad. Both the horchata and Jamaica were soo watered down. I might have as well just drank water. I was so disappointed. Also I've never had a quesadilla that was messy for me to eat and as for my partner's torta, he said the bread wasn't good at all. Both our foods were flavorless and bland. Again for a place with good reviews, I'm disappointed and I would've left the food as it is but my partner and I were hungry and already paid for. We only took a few bites and left it alone. Never again unfortunately.

I will not return to this place. It is over priced waayyy over priced and food isn't worth the money. To add any sides it was 2.00 per topping. I asked for crispy taco like a crispy taco with a fried shell they gave me this stale hard shell.

We love coming here! Neighborhood favorite for us. We've dined in once but more of a take out option for us. Love the carne asada torta, carne asada burrito with avocado and carnitas burrito. The service is great and food delicious.

Found myself with a deep need for Mexican food and in Glendale...felt a strong force pulling me to Tacos Cancun. I ordered the chicken burrito con todo, and asked them to do it divorciados style, with both red and green sauce. Nice move, Andrew. The Burrito came out very delicately presented and ready for me to devour, the sauces were quite delicious, very homemade tasting, and with complex chile flavors. Loved the texture of the chicken, rice and beans inside too. A perfect mini-feast. I would definitely eat here again. Low key strip mall vibes with delicious, authentic flavors. Provecho.

We were there for the 2nd time on Sunday at 3pm and it was closed. It says open till 5...annoying.

Solid four stars, closer to 4.5. First time here so wasn't sure what to expect. Got a potato taco and two grilled fish tacos. Potato taco was delicious. The grilled fish tacos were just a tad bit heavy on the salt, but they had great flavor and thanks to the double tortillas I was nice n full! Their hot spicy sauce, basically a ground roasted chili sauce is ! Can't wait to visit again next time I'm in town!

Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! This is our go to spot when we want a delicious but quick Mexican meal. Everything is so fresh and the flavor keeps us coming back! The people are friendly and quick!! The Asada Torta are my absolute favorite to die for!!! This place is a MUST TRY!!! This is a great spot that deserves more attention and reviews Indoors & outdoors are set like exactly like Cancun style definitely ambiance is outstanding! Pros The food itself is excellent. It was legitimately one of the best Mexican food of my life - The food is affordable considering its proximity to the Glendale location . Group 2 we spent $40 Cons Simple but must Radish/lime/lemon/sauce they should give without you asking I believe it's part of the delicious side or I should say part of the food! Nothing big but could be easily fixed :)

Pretty good Mexican food. I had a chicken burrito and it tasted fresh. I love authentic Mexican food but most places are cash only and I stumbled upon this place. They are not busy and my best guess is that it's due to the location because their food is great. They are in a shopping center that can be difficult to get to on a sharp corner, busy street.

Oh my god. Was bopping around on yelp and came across this spot. Unreal tacos being served by kind staff in a nondescript strip mall in Glendale. Flavors were really great, prices were on point, and the food was very authentic. Highly recommend if you're on the hunt for a solid taco joint in glendale.

Got handed a wet burrito today by one of the lady workers who worked there, she handed me a bag with all the sauce spilled everywhere, and proceeds to blame me and throw napkins at me. Swear customer service taste better than any food. Never coming here again. Get a new job of this one makes you miserable.

Citizens of Yelp: you have done me a solid and I am eternally grateful! How else can I explain the itch to order a machaca breakfast burrito? I was eyeballing that fancy veggie burrito before I read a Yelper asserting this as the best breakfast burrito found in LA. And, while those are big words, this burrito is a serious contender. Crisp, seasoned meat, creamy beans with cheese & rice all wrapped up in a warm, pliant tortilla grilled just right. It scratched that burrito itch and then some! And, not to be outdone, so many Yelpers sang the praises of the fish tacos that I just had to try a few. Boy-howdy! These fish tacos are on point! Grilled fish, slaw and a mayonnaise sauce. Forget about it! Take it even further by splashing a titch of their red spicy salsa on top & you've got yourself a carousel of flavor all in the palm of your hand. This place just made my new regular list.

Have been coming to this place whenever we crave for some Tortas. My old office was just few minutes walk to this place. The shop is in a small shopping complex. Parking is not a problem as such, but it does get busy nearing weekend. Its an family owned business. The cashier is a sweet lady, she is always smiling & helpful. The shop is cute & little. The insides of the shop reminded us of Cabo,hehe. They even have vegetarian options available which is a win win situation for us. You can even tweak the order to make it vegetarian.We ordered their:- 2 order of Tortas $11.90- As usual they were yum. California Burritos $8- We tried this for the first time & OMG guys, its yumm. The filling is of french fries, sour cream, cheese & steak, but we omitted the meat & replaced it with beans ($0.50 extra for beans). The tortilla was nicely cooked. But do order some kind of salsa or sauce on the side as it did feel dry while eating. But the burrito was bomb. Will definitely continue coming to this place. Awesome food & good service.

I came here during my lunch break, and was very disappointed. I am not sure how this place has so many good reviews. I ordered the #5 which included 1 fish taco, and 1 shrimp taco. It also came with rice and beans. It cost $10, which would have been fine if it was any good. Unfortunately the both tacos were horrible, and barely had any fish/shrimp in there. All I could taste was the tortillas, cabbage and sauce. The tacos were unnecessarily greasy, and the beans and rice was also disappointing. It was 94 degrees that day and the restaurant did not have any air conditioning, and had the doors open. This made it very hot inside and allowed for flys to come inside. This was a horrible experience and I will not be returning. It was a waste of $10 and I felt sick after.

Lived in Glendale my whole life and never noticed this place, but I'm glad I finally did! Super delicious. Fast, reasonably priced, good quality. We'll definitely be coming back!

This place is always good. I've been here many times and have yet to get something I didn't like. The food is always hot and fresh. Parking can sometimes be a pain because this shopping center is very busy during the day

dropped by yesterday to have some Taco Tuesdays, we ordered the street tacos (asada and adobada) and also the combo plate. They served complimentary chips. the tacos were good. I liked their asada, the adobada was just okay. it was kind of pricey but since there's more meat than other taco places, price would do.

My go to for authentic Mexican food in Glendale. Delicious & tasty at surprisingly low prices. I love their asada / adobado burritos & quesadillas. Their shrimp & fish tacos are yummy too. They have the best red & green sauces/ salsas plus they give you fresh tortilla chips with your order. Small restaurant but All the staff are wonderful & friendly

I am giving an honest review as I went to this place after seeing the great reviews. My review is based on what I had during this experience so it's not based on the entire menu. I had the asada tacos and nachos with chorizo, overall out of 10 the food was a 6. I really liked the chorizo. The food was okay, I would just suggest they trying improving on their salsas and nachos as the cheese on the nachos was canned. If it were to be fresh cheese the nachos would be great as everything else was great. The customer service was a 8/10 the person working there seemed nice and it was quick and not too pricey compared to other places. Overall the place was good, I am not trying to bash the place cause it does have a lot of good reviews and I didn't get to try everything. So I assume they have good options just wouldn't personally recommend the nachos.

Literally the worst nachos I've ever had. Probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Paid $15 for stale, immediately soggy, cheap chips with no-flavor beans, no-flavor steak and liquid "cheese" from a gallon can no doubt (no real cheese was harmed in the making of these nachos. Wish I'd just gone home and eaten there! I grieve my lost $15!!

My family loves everything at Tacos Cancun!! There are many delicious options for EVERYBODY (vegans, vegetarians, people on gluten free diets & meat eaters). And the vegan desserts & generously sized horchata are soooo good. The service is excellent as well! Tacos Cancun is located right by the Balboa Pier (with a beautiful view of the beach) and is a short 5 minute walk from the Fun Zone & Ferris Wheel. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

My neighborhood Mexican spot. I stop by every time I'm done nearby at the mall. It's worth the extra few blocks, even with all the other restaurant choices nearby. The staff is always friendly and fast. My usual includes the ceviche and a couple of tacos. They also make a super yummy shrimp salad with sooo much avocado goodness. I got it once and was surprised by how big the salad was. I'd get it again but the ceviche alone is usually enough to fill me up. I'm all for taco trucks but I really love this little shop. Hope they are around for a long time.

Only giving it a two because the rice was okay, but if your looking for real Mexican food this is NOT the place, this is like white washed food, enchiladas were watery and tasted bland, disgusted

We come here once a week and it never disappoints. My favorites are the fish tacos, shrimp burrito, and ceviche. Breakfast burritos are yummy too. Only negative is they close somewhat early.

Very small, bright, colorful and friendly place.Have seating for around 16 customers. Notice quite a bit of take out. Tacos and other dishes was all delicious! The window Where you pick up your orders look right into a super clean kitchen. The combination of their Foods and ambience makes me feel like I am eating tacos in Cancun.

I have been whizzing past this place for years though the reviews on Yelp are pretty stellar. I needed to stop in. Well today, Christmas Eve i decided to stop for some grub as i had mounds of cooking prep ahead of me at home and did not want to cook something for myself. It seemed like the perfect time to sample the wares of this well reviewed restaurant It was pretty slow at 930am-ish today though they were hopping in back preparing party trays of delicious looking Tortas, Frijoles de la olla and rice plus several other specialties. Everyone greeted me from the back and the woman who took my order was very nice and personable. I mean who is not nice today, the eve of Christ;s birth? (Yes, i know, i know.) I ordered a combo of 2 tacos (beef and chicken) which comes with beans and rice+ 2 salsa packs of home made salsa. I wanted Picante (hot) but they only had Green Tomatillo. This also comes with a good amount of fresh fried corn tortilla chips. Tacos: Both are served soft, grill warmed corn tortillas, two per taco. The chicken is tasty, well seasoned. This taco has a it of shredded lettuce, pico de gallo. This was simple preparation but also a carefully prepared one. I would have liked more chicken but the condiments made up the space in the small tortilla and it all came together very well in each bite. One of my main gripes about beef tacos at almost every venue i which i have ever eaten them is: the meat is cut too small so as to resemble rat droppings. i suppose there is a reason for this but i have never figured it out. In any event...big Surprise! the beef here it is actually cut larger and though, as in the chicken taco...there isn't enough. once again each bite is tasty and well seasoned though the individuality of beef makes itself known among the condiments. Most take Beans and Rice for granted as plate fillers but here the beans are not re-fried. They are right out of the pot or as they are called: Frijoles de la Oja. Also as opposed to most beans served elsewhere they are perfectly seasoned and not too salty. The Tomatillo salsa was weak on the spice level but as is all of the food i bought: well seasoned and full of green tomato taste. The rice is light and fluffy and again well seasoned, not too salty. I have just barely touched the surface of what is available at this joint therefore, i will be back. Cheers! Merry Christmas!

Finally tried this place and I'm sad it took me so long to try it! The food is such good quality, flavors on point, and so affordable. The chorizo breakfast burrito is the best chorizo I've had in my entire life. It isn't greasy at all!! The ham breakfast burrito is everything you want from a ham breakfast burrito! I'm so impressed with Tacos Cancun! This is the easiest five stars I've ever given! I've already decided that we're going back for lunch! *UPDATE* I went back for lunch and it was just as delicious as breakfast! I'm obsessed with this place! The ceviche is the best ceviche in Glendale!

Small hole in the wall, stopped by to give it a try. Was recommended the asada torta and it was presented quite nicely. Asada was marinated well and combined well with the flavors of the torta. The salsa verde didn't carry much flavor and had to use the habanero sauce to attain the kick I was looking for. Nacho chips were stale but the torta was solid and toasted nicely. Overall 7.2/10

This little spot is located in a strip mall on Broadway and Pacific is serving up some pretty authentic Mexican Food. It's definitely one of the best in the neighborhood! The Ceviche here is almost as good as the one I had in Cancun! It was so fresh and flavorful. Their homemade tortilla chips are light and crispy and go so well with the ceviche! We also ordered the Milanesa Torta, which was really good and huge! The Carne Asada Burrito and the Breakfast Burrito were also really tasty and massive! You can definitely make two meals out of anything you get! Did I mention that the portions are big? Their salsa verde is so bright and herby, I love it. Take caution with the red one, it is super spicy, but if you love spice like me, you will love it.

Doing Mexican food right for a great price. Salsas are super good, chips are super good, you already know you're in the right spot before you even get your food. Get the chilaquiles and add a couple eggs, tortillas on the side, done deal.

This is a bit of a hole in the wall type restaurant. WITH AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD. I've gone here like 5 times. They are quick, very very nice people and food is EXCELLENT and affordable! You definitely get your money's worth. You can ask for it "mojado" or wet and they will put the salsa or your choosing cheese and sour cream on top. SO YUMMY. They also add chips and salsa FOR FREE on to go meals and dine in. Close to the Americana and galleria malls. There is parking outside. The lot can get full depending on the time you go but there's also street parking! GREAT COMFORT TASTY FOOD.

Where to begin...WOW! I am so thankful for such an amazing and superb staff! SANTOS, you are awesome! Corina is so helpful and everyone's customer service was on point. On top of that, the tacos are delicious! I'm a local and order from them quite often. With our production company, we needed 200+ tacos and everything was perfect. Sauces, the meat, the fish especially...BOMB! Hit them up y'all! You won't regret it!

LOCATION Tacos Cancun is located in a little strip mall at the corner of Broadway and Pacific on Broadway. The parking is tight at lunch time with all the businesses around the Restaurant. There is no questioning this is a hole in the wall. Usually the best! And this was! ATMOSPHERE Restaurant is small and looks to cater the take away menu. Many people called in their food and came to pick it up. Not a place to hold a party. Great location though as it is right in town. Good to meet just a couple people for lunch. FACILITY The restaurant itself is very small having only about 8-10 two seat tables or so. INSIDE Very cute. Not flashy and not decorated but efficient. OUTSIDE At this place, there is no outside seating. SERVICE Friendly, efficient. You even get chips and salsa. THE ORDER Ordered the #3, Taco and Enchilada.- 4.5 out of 5 stars - I actually swapped the regular taco with a street taco. A much better choice in my opinion. This was such a satisfying meal! The enchilada (cheese) had onions. Not my favorite but ok. The red sauce was flavorful. I added some of their hot sauce to everything and was superb. Beans were very good and not mushy. Rice was also tasty. As I mentioned, a hole in the wall and very well worth the title! Everything is served on a paper plate and you use plastic utensils. ONLINE ORDERING You can call ahead and order but there is no online ordering. Go orders can be placed at 818-396-5584. They will even cater your event! Beans were very good and not mushy. Rice was also tasty. STAFF Friendly, speak great English as well as spanish. OVERALL Fresh dependable menu items served by friendly staff. I'm very excited to have found this place. It is one of the better Mexican lunch spots in the area. Price is spot on with nothing on the menu over $10. Definitely a good spot for lunch. Go Here!
