14 Best Things to Do in Zócalo, Mexico City | Condé Nast Traveler

"El Huequito specializes in juicy, marinated al pastor in a proprietary blend of spices. Order the torre de pastor (literally, a tower of sliced meat with a stack of tortillas) and make your own tacos at the table with the selection of salsa. There's also a hearty tortilla soup, cheese wrapped around griddled meats then slipped into a tortilla, and grilled nopales (catus paddles). People tend come here for a quick taco break before heading back into the city or after drinking all day in a cantina." - Scarlett Lindeman

This place was excellent. My husband and I shared the Al pastor tacos - it made about 8 small tacos. The carousel of sauces was a fun experiment to make the best, spiciest taco possible. My husband was still a little hungry after finishing the al pastor tacos and he ordered the arracherra taco and thought it also was really good. Really great quality for a great price. We will absolutely be back.

Absolutely incredible food! Honestly the best Pastor Taco I had my entire time in CDMX. Service was good, the chef making the tacos knew exactly what he was doing. Atmosphere could be a bit better; it's nice, but had an industrial feel to it. There are some outside seats that might be nicer to sit at. Overall a great place, good prices and even better food.

The al pastor tacos with handmade tortillas were good. It was nice to get so many salsas with the order.

This was one of my favorite taco restaurants. They bring a tray out with delicious salsas. This place was one block down from china town.

Unassuming place, but don’t underestimate it. Food is really good! I’m glad we ate here as many locals seem to favor this place. At first I thought it was only take out but take a few steps past the rotating meat and there’s a dine-in resto inside. It seems that their motto is to give you this masterpiece of multiple sauces that you can use for your dishes. I tried all and not one disappointed. When it came to the food, I over-ordered since I wanted to try as much as we could. And even then, the total bill was affordable for 3. Id suggest their Al pastor special, it’s meant to be shared so grab one and try their other dishes. It’s a unique eatery and one of the highlights of our México trip.

Some of the best tacos we had in our time in the city. The Tortillas they have are amazing quality!

Hands down one of the best taco spots i tried in all of CDMX. It was the most flavorful al pastor without any chile, salt, or limon. However i did add chile and limon to mine for more flavor. I suggest you try both the regular al pastor and the al pastor especial because you get to try both of the types.
