This new food truck is currently located in front of a restaurant that is being remodeled to soon carry the Tacos El Viejon name.
They offer tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas and mulitas (with nine different protein options) and a variety of bottled beverages. They do not offer sides like rice or beans.
My two pastor (pork) and two pollo (chicken) street tacos ($2 each) were served to go eight minutes after I ordered at the food truck window, where the service was just accommodative.
The authentic street tacos were nicely packaged for transport, with warm meat and tortillas packaged separately from the chilled toppings. I also received three salsas with various heat levels - mild, medium and a red sauce with a lot of heat. I liked the generous amount of meat, which was tasty and nicely diced - not too big and not too small - on fresh, warm, 4" double layer tortillas with a good quantity of fresh toppings.
I wish they would post prices, and the 4% surcharge for credit cards seems antiquated, but overall, this was a very very good, reasonably priced lunch experience.
