The unique drink choices and vibrant flavors do bring a lively spark to the place, though the prices are a reminder that quality; rarely comes cheap. The service, ever at the mercy of the owners’ moods, can feel a little uneven, smiles are a rare garnish under pressure. Still, one can’t have everything, and if you set aside the bills and the brief frowns, it remains a small Mexican oasis right in the heart of Jerusalem. Four stars on my scale

Amazing experience at Tacos Luis. Authentic Mexican food done right. Fresh, flavorful tacos, excellent churros, and consistently high quality. The place has a great vibe and is perfect for enjoying real Mexican street food in Jerusalem. Service is efficient and friendly, and the food delivers every time. Highly recommended if you want proper tacos and desserts that actually taste like Mexico.

Best tacos in town consistently. Cheery atmosphere feels like a taste of Mexico. Sometimes the ordering line can be long because it's worth the wait.

Music was too loud to the point where the music was so loud that I misheard him when he called the names and then said it’s my fault and I have to keep the wrong order. Did not want to make a customer happy said he didn’t care. Food was decent nothing to go crazy for. The best thing was the rice bowl. Wish I could have had a better experience as I’ve heard good things and came in to Jerusalem just for this. Oh well!

Excellent meal. It's of no wonder that this place is an institution. Staff all friendly and food is quality. Special mention of the relish and guacamole, and the special turkey shwarma meat. Al Franseca juices also a must try.

What a neat little jem this place is! It offers excellent tacos, in a very affordable price. The tacos are truly delicious and mouthwatering. You should definitely try the Taco Baja (fish taco), and the Barbacoa Taco (brisket taco). Service is wonderful as well, very friendly and welcoming.

Hands down the best tacos in Israel! bite and my go to in the area for a casual good quality meal, they usually sell out of specials quickly so make sure to show up early if there’s a specific menu item that caught your eye.

Excellent! Just wanting something a little different than the usual fare we decided to check this gem out. Super friendly service and probably the best tacos I’ve had from around the world. I was skeptical being so far from Latin America but they did not disappoint. The tortillas are amazing and so not fall apart. It’s a treat watching them make them. I won’t say if it’s expensive or cheap as that’s subjective to each person. However we did find good value for the price. Even busy the food comes quick. So if your Hangry this might be a great choice if your in the area. In the end I highly recommend this taco joint. Beautiful area for a stroll after or before dinner as well.
