La Chingona GDL

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever tried! It is a small restaurant on a corner near a park. It was not too busy in the evening. The owner and chef, Jorge, personally came to greet us and explained the menu to us. He has a Michelin-star restaurant in Guadalajara and he is very passionate about his food. It was absolutely delicious, he ordered an extra round because it was so good. They bring a selection of homemade dips and an appetizer on the house. You should absolutely visit this spot for an amazing meal!

Just to be clear because the name of the restaurant is confusing, this is not a Michelin rated restaurant! But it doesn’t take anything away from it being excellent! As a vegan, I really appreciated the attention from the chef and owner who came to greet me personally and made sure my order would be made properly and went out of his way to avoid cross contamination. The food was really good and the salsas so tasty. Would definitely recommend!

An amazing place to kick back and have some incredible food and great conversation. The tacos were some of the best I have ever had. I recommend the lamb or pork tacos. They even have games on the table to give it a chill atmosphere.

One of my favourite restaurants in Colombia - amazing Mexican food. Georgi is a truly lovely person, we were a mix of people from several countries and he made each person feel really welcome. That’s a special quality!

What a serendipitous find! I have only glowing things to say about the food, atmosphere, and owner of this quaint spot, which my wife and I stumbled upon. Being a San Diego native who’s spent a fair amount of time exploring parts of Mexico, my standards for tacos are unreasonably high and this place just nailed it. Hands-down best Mexican food I’ve found in 6 years residing in Colombia. I meant to snap a pic of all 3 generously stuffed tacos on my plate when it arrived (along with perfectly crisp tortilla chips and a half dozen artisanal hot sauce varieties made by hand), but, well, yeah. Tacos of this quality are like quarks and gluons: they come into and out of existence very quickly.

We ate burritos and birria tacos and it was the best mexican food in our lives, too delicious food. Jordi (the owner) was very kind. The place is not the expected, but the food was amazing.

WOW , the food is amazing !! 🤩 It took me back to my country 🇲🇽 I assure you that everything you try you will LOVE it ! The sauces are also the same as those of Mexican taquerias, and spicy 🥵 there are more than 20 varieties available, so you choose the spiciness level :)

Wow! Me and my friend had an incredible experience & of course food at Jorge’s place! He was so kind and the dishes taste amazing, you can taste it is made with love. We will definitely come back whenever we visit Bogota again.
