Tacos Mexico

One of my students who works there recommended Tacos Mexico and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Food was outstanding! I did the nachos with carnitas. The carnitas were moist and flavorful. Also did a quesadilla with steak. Ordered for dinner the steak and pepers and onions. Everything was fresh! Called after placing the order cause I goof'd on grubhub and they were friendly and helpful. Would order again.

Overall experience was great. The decor feels homey and there is music playing in the background. I was immediately greeted when I came in. There was only one other customer. We both got our orders fast. I ordered birria tacos (different proteins like chicken and steak). All were very good. Better than any I have tried before. You can tell that they stay true to their roots while flavoring meats and they include fresh ingredients in the tacos. The horchata was good but I truly enjoyed trying mora too. I would order those tacos again. I may even try dessert next time.

Awesome taco's, put this spot on your rotation. Great selection to choose from. This place is definitely a good idea. Stop messing around go get something, trying the nachos next!

Exceptional food and service, my husband and I had the pastor and steak tacos and they were delicious. We will be ordering again and would recommend this restaurants to all our friends

I sat down and ate at Tacos Mexico for lunch the other day and it was so good! The place is nice and quaint. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Awesome food, at amazing prices. Can’t go wrong! I got their Steak Platter w/ Yellow Rice, Red Beans, & a Salad. The steak had great flavor and complimented the other side dishes really well. Their other menu options are pretty good as well too. If anyone is looking for some homey Mexican food in Newark. I’d highly recommend Tacos Mexico!

Got tacos for the first time yesterday for Cinco De Mayo. We got chicken and carnitas. Definitely have the found the spot around Newark to go to! Good size menu and service. Check it out!

Incredible food and very great service!! We got the carnitas tacos and the chicken tacos and the guacamole was PHENOMENAL. every other taco place in the area was closed, and I am so glad to have found this place!!

Their food is so good and tasty !! Especially their tacos and tostadas 100/10 would recommend
