The young man who took my order was patience with us and the cook did an amazing job of preparing the food. The birria tacos was so yummy. My husband got the super burrito with steak and he was satisfied. 10/10 would recommend

AWESOME! Yes this place looks sketchy and seedy from the outside, but I've learned over the years here in DFW that the sketchier and seedier a taco joint looks like from the outside, the better it will be, and this place is no exception. The menu has many options and while I have been here a few times I have not yet been able to try everything I've wanted to try yet, but I have had the Moreno Tacos(aka Quesatacos with your choice of meat) which are very good, VERY GOOD breakfast burritos, the Tex Mex enchiladas are excellent, and so are the nachos and loaded fries. The fried quesadilla is an interesting concept, it was like a hybrid between a tamale and a quesadilla. Can't really go wrong with anything here. Friendly service too. It may take a few minutes but they make everything to order so the wait is well worth it.

This is my second time here and the food is phenomenal. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito twice and both times were consistent quality. Hot, crisp, and everything in the burrito made an amazing impression. The prices? Unbelievable for the quality you get. The service is fast and they're all super nice. Please, if you need a good breakfast, come to this location. You, and your wallet, will be impressed.

The food was soooooo good. We got there at 8:35 thinking they closed later (the store closes later). They advised they were closed, but let us order still. The food took about 15 minutes to make. It was still hot when we got home 20 minutes later and according to my 5yo cousin he “knew it would be good because he could smell how it taste” Kids Chicken quesadilla (really good he danced while eating) Barbados super burrito (there was no fatty meat full of flavor and a “fat daddy”) Bacon burger (cooked to perfection w/ toasted buttery buns) We will be back!

Don't let the fact that this is a gas station deter you, you wont be dissapointed. Food was fresh, affordable, delicious, and piping hot!! Definitely the best gorditas I have had in Texas. The barbacoa, asada, and pollo were all flavorful and seasoned well. The elote was good too. Locals know this spot because this place got packed quick while we waited for our food. I'll definitely be back when I come to Texas and want some good mexican food.

This is the best hole in the wall taco place ever! The service is excellent the food portions are wonderful. On the taste and the food and the price five star review for me y'all do a great job I will definitely recommend and be back a hundred times! And the red hot sauce delicious I would take a picture but I ate it all already.

I haven't been to this place in years, but it has to be 1 of my favorite taco places in all of DFW. The hard part is the hours. I finally came to town a while back just to find out they weren't open on a weekday that I came. (I think it was a Monday or Tuesday) Now they are open on weekdays just not Sundays. Maybe I'll return!

I have an weird obsession with gas station taco shops lol. It's just so much better than others! This spot was a win in my books, my tacos were great! Got home (20 min drive) and my food was wrapped so well that my food was still warm and ready to eat! Each taco was super meaty, cheesy, and packed with flavor.

Tucked inside a gas station, this spot delivers street tacos that are bursting with flavor and authenticity. Some of the best tacos I have had. I'd go out of my way to eat here again, very very good!

Got one of their plates option - 3 Moreno Tacos with pastor meat. Tbh, these are some of the best tacos I've ever had and they were bursting with flavor. However, I'd say they were way too greasy. It made the taco shell super soggy, and personally, I'd have enjoyed it more if it was a little more crispy. With that said, I'd definitely stop by if I'm in the area again. Overall, it's pretty good and definitely worth trying! Also, they're located inside a gas station at the very back.

After seeing all of the reviews and all of the elites that is posting about this out of the way taco place, I just had to try it (lol at my reviews and you can see I have a weakness for street tacos lol). As always, ordered 4 tacos (barbacoa, carnitas, beef, and chicken), but also decided to get a churro this time. Starting with the tacos. They were very good and unsure which I liked first. They had a slight crunch from the grill (the corn tortilla) and they gave 1 of each hot sauce. Unfortunately, to me neither hot sauce had any luck to it, which was kinda disappointing. The tested very good, though, and the green one had a weird thickness to it (usually taco places have hot sauce that is more liquidity, but thicker hot sauce means it doesn't last as long.. the thicker one was barely enough for 2 tacos). The churro was really good as well. They have a choice between vanilla, caramel, or plain. I got the vanilla since the other 2 are offered everywhere. It had good flavor and the perfect amount of crisp. I do have 1 complaint about the building, though. They gave no restrooms. When I asked about a restroom, he was nice enough to let me in to use the one they have in the kitchen, so that was nice. If I'm in the area again, I want a hamburger. Not had a Mexican hamburger with the slice of ham on it, etc, since I was in Mexico for a few weeks, when I was like 18 or 19, and not many places offer those

After seeing pictures of Tacos Moreno birria tacos I quickly decided to check this spot out. It's located inside of Sammy's Food Mart, which is a corner store in a secluded area in Arlington. You may not expect much because of the appearance, but it's definitely worth trying. I ordered a 6 piece Moreno Taco Plate (birria tacos) with fries (not captured) and I can truly say these are some of the best birria tacos that I've had so far. It was so cheesy and packed with meat, onions and cilantro. The consommé was flavorful and it paired well with the tacos. Besides the food, the lady that took my order was very nice and it didn't take long for my order to be prepared. I enjoyed my total experience and I see myself continuing to support.

I finally came in to try their breakfast tacos. Oh man, I've been missing out! I ordered two breakfast tacos with bacon and cheese. Just like their regular tacos, they are not skimping on the filling. These were some hefty tacos. Best part, they griddle the tortillas making them slightly crisp and even more delicious. Add some of the green sauce on there and it is a combination that can't be beat. Yes it is in a gas station. Yes it is on a residential street that is out of the way. And yes the parking lot is a little bumpy. But man, everything thing I have had from here has been surprisingly good. It is quick service, but they take their time and the quality of their food shows it. It is places like this that make you wonder how some of these chains stay open. They are fast food prices, but the quality is superior and the quantity of food is impressive.

Had the moreno tacos with rice and beans. Good yummy food located inside a corner gas station/convenience store in a neighborhood area. Moreno tacos are like birria tacos but with a choice of meat. Wish it came with more consumme but enjoyed the tacos with barbacoa meat and hot sauce. Also wish they were a little crispy

If anyone knows me by now, they will know I love these hole in the wall places. This is a Taco shop inside a gas station. The gentlemen who work here, are always friendly and always on it to get the orders cooked quick! Food: - Moreno Taco (7/10): I ordered the al pastor as the meat. Although this is similar to your birria tacos it's not as well marinated or flavorful. But the meat is well cooked and pretty good. It comes with a sauce, I wouldn't say it's consomé because it tastes sweet to me. I was not a fan of this sauce and just use the hot sauce provided. - Tacos (7.5/10): The tacos are pretty good, but I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had. But for this area in Arlington it is pretty up there! The al pastor, barbacoa, and camaron were all good. Although i would say I would prefer my camaron a bit more crispy and flavorful. Would I go back? No doubt about it. I've actually been back 5 times. They treat you well and provide great food. I'm excited to try some of the other items like their tortas.

I have found some of the best taco joints are located in gas stations, tacos Moreno is no exception. I noticed around noon they get busier, so I order ahead of time. Their chicken fajita and Al pastor tacos are delicious as well as their refried beans. For dessert, I recommend their churro it's delicious and dense. Their red salsa will definitely clear your sinuses and their green salsa is mild but delicious as well. I'll have to try their Moreno tacos next.

Gas Station tacos can be some of the best. These were good, but not the best. However the meat was well seasoned and the crunchy hard shell taco was fresh. The Taco Morano was better. It was pretty food. The sauce was great for dipping also. I would eat those any day. This really gets a 3.5 but it won't let me score it that way. Reading the reviews made me ready for some bomb birria tacos... my dreams were crushed with the first bite. Meat was tender, but little to no flavor. Honestly I was a little worried when I checked the bag and couldn't find the consume. But when I opened the box I find a small clear container, which was very new to me. Also ordered the chicken quesadillas, I didn't get to try them, but the person I was with enjoyed them. Sadly, I personally can't recommend this place or at least their birria tacos. *beans and rice was good!*

I do recommend Tacos Moreno I only have one complaint. The taco shells were not freshly fried and the chips tasted like the were from a bag of baked saltless chips. Otherwise it was a cute little place, the salsa was good. My beans and rice were tasty my enchilada was delicious. I think if they started fresh frying their taco shells and chips this would be worthy of 5 stars. But now it's only worth 3.

I had the Carne Asada burrito and omg that's what I call a burrito so flavorful the lady was so humble very nice definitely will be coming back

EVER. But ya girl is going to have to start finding gems like this one! I got the taco plate (chicken) with beans and rice- hitting. And I also got a chicken quesadilla which I haven't worked on yet but I'm sure it will hit too. Tacos Moreno made my gas station food experience a pleasant one. Thank you!

For how small this place is, they have an extensive menu, fortunately everything I've gotten has been a hit! I definitely recommend the torta with asada, the Moreno tacos, and flautas al pastor. Super good food and nice staff.

Someone recommended Taco Moreno on TikToc and on a taco search for Arlington. We sent our son to pick up an order of birria tacos and they were AMAZING! The weren't stingy with the meat and they were full of flavor!! They also included beans / rice which we were not expecting. We will be back!!! Tacos Moreno is inside the Sammy's convenient store. - the best kinds!

Drove past it twice but didn't realize it was in a gas station. Their Moreno tacos were really good. Stuffed with a lot of meat and a bunch of cheese. The shells were perfectly cooked and had a light crunch to them. With just 3 tacos I went from starving to stuffed and ready for nap time. Got the barbacoa, pastor, and shrimp. The only thing I made a mistake getting was a shrimp taco, was the small tiny shrimps that were overly fishy, the other 2 meats I had were simply amazing and put the shrimp to shame. Wish their salsa had more flavor that came with the chips and dip. Their sauces were also mostly kind of runny other than the green salsa which had good flavor but wasn't as spicy as I liked. Figured their salsa was more for dipping your tacos in, which did add a good combo of flavor when dipped & eaten with the tacos. Churros were legit and made a perfect desert to end the amazing tacos that they have!

I work across the street so I've eaten there many times. We've had them cater on occasion and get loads of breakfast taco's too. They are always delicious and some of the friendliest folks anywhere. Pro hint, they have an excellent burger too!

This place has become my absolute favorite TACO Tuesday, Friday need something good and my just dang it, place for the bomb Birra Tacos!!! The older gentleman is such a gem and you totally feel the love in ANYTHING he makes. Don't let the corner gas station fool ya, you're getting the best here! Sidenote: I think when I call my order in i think they know EXACTLY who I am, My tacos come loaded every time!!!

My wife & I were looking for a new taco joint and this place had wonderful reviews. Now we know why. Everything was delicious! I got some lengua tacos that were very tender, she got some Carne Asada tacos that she couldn't get enough of. Hole-in-the-wall places like this always have the best food and the gentleman that took our order could not have been nicer

Incredible tacos inside a little gas station market. This is the kind of unassuming place that's so fun to come across.. you feel like you're being let in on a secret. You almost want to keep it to yourself, but how can you not share the love for this food?! The Moreno Tacos are their speciality. Like birria tacos (not sure if these technically are birria), the tortillas are dipped in a delicious flavorful broth before being cooked on a griddle. They're stuffed pretty full and served with a broth for dipping. They're kinda messy to eat but they have so much flavor, they're truly delicious. And so are the rice and refried beans!! I gotta find more reasons to be in this neighborhood so I can stop by more often. It's honestly worth the drive though. If I actually lived nearby I'd be here all the time!

I've been wanting some birria tacos so I made the drive out to this spot with the awesome reviews. It's located in the back of a corner store, but don't let that fool you. This place hits! Ordered the Moreno tacos which are essentially birria tacos. I had the pastor, only downer is I couldn't omit the onions (was told "they were already mixed in") and there wasn't much to the consommé that came with it. The tacos themselves were super flavorful, and the quesadilla was even better! The high marks are deserved, and the cook was very friendly while moving around like a machine! Great neighborhood spot for your taco fix

Visited for the birria tacos. Disappointed by the service, the two young men that were working were not amiable at all. The guy who took our order was very rude when I was asking questions about their menu. After placing the order I asked if everything was in the bag, I didn't see the large cup of elote we ordered, but he laughed and assured it was in there. Upon getting home it was not in the bag. As for the tacos the flavor was good but the "consome" was pretty much clear, it had no flavor. I really liked their chile verde.

Their so good n never fail to taste bomb every. Single. Timmmmme. Everytime i come in im taken care of and everything comes out perfectly. I'd recommend this place to anyone lookin for some good food

So I came here to try the Birria tacos like the review below me recommended. They are not Birria tacos. I repeat these are not Birria tacos. They are Barbacoa tacos with cheese. Beans and rice were 0K. Tacos were good but not the kind I was looking for.

I would highly recommend their food! It did take about 40 minutes to prepare after ordering, so I would call ahead next time. I really enjoyed their birra tacos and elote! The corn was yummy and creamy, but I would recommend adding their red sauce if you like your elotes spicy!

AMAZING BIRRIA TACOS. 3 Moreno tacos plus rice and beans isn't bad for $8. Tacos were cheesy and juicy. Birria consumé ease tasteful (just wish we were given a little more) and red and green salsas added a nice spice. Usually the rice and beans that come with taco plates are decent but these were nice and flavorful. 10/10 definitely will be back

Best tacos and Elote in Arlington. Not your average taco shop in a gas station. Service is always great and just discovered this place less than a month ago and have been back more times than I can count. Only one table w three chairs but come early if you're wanting lunch this place is so good there's a wait and the corner store gets packed.

A friend recommended this place and I was surprised I couldn't find this place on Yelp. To be fair it is a hole in the wall, inside a neighbourhood gas station. They do their own style of Birria tacos called Moreno tacos, where the taco is soaked in the broth, though theirs aren't crispy, and you can get any meat you want, along with melted cheese, grilled onions and cilantro. A plate with rice and beans and three tacos is $8 - can't beat prices like that. Served with lime wedges, two hot sauce (FYI - the green is hot!), a chipotle mayo type of sauce, and a side of the broth for dipping (their side is a lot smaller than I've seen other taquerias). I even enjoyed the rice and refried beans, I usually don't care for either at Mexican restaurants. Overall a nice little place to grab a quick bite to go.

The birria tacos were not good. Little flavor. Salsa very very good do recommend the green one. The consume was clear. I never seen a clear one. That was the first red flag.

Was near here so I stopped by, it's in a busy gas station with a table inside and a table outside, she sells drinks but we bought a soda from the store part. We ordered 4 tacos and rice and beans. The food was ready in about 5 minutes and the lady was very nice. We took the tacos outside and ate them at the big table. The beans were really great and the rice was okay. We got pastor, barbacoa, tripas and carnitas all moreno, basically it's a queso birria with any meat. The tacos all kind of tasted the same but they were all absolutely amazing. It's a taco experience worth having and it's the best of the best, will definitely be back.

Just stopped by and ordered a 3ct birria Tacos Moreno plate and a 3ct Pastor Tacos Moreno Plate to share and it was probably one of the best tacos I've had here in DFW area. Soo much flavor and cheesy and everything was fresh! The service was great too! They have a big menu with all sorts of things! Always support small businesses and give them a try!

This is my GO TO spot don't let the ambiance fool you!! The moreno tacos are a HIT!! I always get steak or a chicken! I love the grease from the tortilla and the flavor combination omg! Service is good never had a issue with my orders. Im a sauce girl but sauce is not needed!! A splash of lime and your good to go! Give these folks a try!!

My daughter had tacos birras before and we were trying to find a place close. This one popped up on my Google maps, so we thought we'd give it a try. Boy, did they deliver! It's a small mom-&-pop place inside of a food mart with a tiny place to sit and eat. We got the tacos Moreno plate with a chicken super burrito. The tacos were juicy, delicious and filled to the brim with ingredients. The burrito was extra large and easily split between 2 people. Omg, don't forget the sauces! The jalapeño, green sauce worked up a sweat with all of us, and the red sauce was more mild, but still held a spiciness. It's great for a home-cooked Mexican meal for sure. Rice was very good and moist, amd the beans had a creamy texture with a hint of bacon. We'll definitely be back!
