The 11 Best Restaurants In Fulham - London - The Infatuation

"This all-day Mexican kitchen is one of those ‘if you know you know’ kind of spots. Order from the window and try to nab one of the few tables outside. The sooner you eat the crispy baja fish taco—a fried butter fish fillet in a soft corn tortilla, topped with tangy coleslaw and zesty guacamole—after getting it, the better. Stop by Tacos Mx for a speedy three-taco lunch deal, or come with one other person on a warm evening for a helping of assorted tacos (the chicken fajita taco is also excellent) while perching on a random doorway on a quiet road in SW6." - rianne shlebak

Where To Break Up With Someone In London - London - The Infatuation

"You mentally checked out of this relationship a few months back. Is that bad? Maybe, but at least you’ve got all the crying out of the way. Send them a cryptic text about meeting by the taco bench, and grab a seat at this Fulham taqueria’s table out front. Blame the scenes of SW6 on your lack of eye contact—if you’re lucky a fight will break out across the road and you’ll get some live entertainment while you mainline a baja fish taco. Let them say their piece, occasionally nod, and wait until they’re out of eyeshot before you go back and order a chicken fajita taco to go." - jake missing, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

London’s Best Grab & Go Meals - London - The Infatuation

"We can’t believe there was a time when we didn’t know about the baja fish taco at this Mexican kitchen in Fulham. The fried butter fish fillet in a soft corn tortilla has the perfect ratio of comfort to crunch. It's topped with tangy coleslaw and comes with generous pots of zesty guacamole (our favourite), hot habanero, and chipotle sauce on the side. This is one of the best tacos in London. You won’t manage to resist taking a bite before reaching the nearest bus stop." - jake missing, rianne shlebak

Tacos MX - Review - Fulham - London - The Infatuation

"A blink-and-you’ll-miss-it spot, this Mexican kitchen in Fulham is one of those ‘if you know you know’ kind of places. Order from the window and try to nab one of the few tables outside, because the sooner you eat the crispy baja fish or chilli beef tacos after getting your food, the better. The best way to use Tacos MX is to stop by for a speedy three taco lunch deal, or to come with one other person on a warm evening for a helping of assorted tacos while perching on a random doorway on a quiet road in SW6. Everything is made fresh to order, so there's usually a little bit of a wait. But what’s 15 minutes when it comes to some of the best tacos London has to offer? Just try not to stare too much as you watch others perched on the benches get messy with a steak fajita burrito while you wait. Save some stomach space for dessert if you’ve got a sweet tooth, because they also make very good churros. Food Rundown photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Baja Fish Taco We can’t believe there was a time when we didn’t know about this taco’s existence. A perfectly fried butter fish fillet in a soft corn tortilla that has the perfect ratio of comfort to crunch. It's topped with tangy coleslaw and comes with generous pots of zesty guacamole (our favourite), hot habanero, and chipotle sauce on the side. This is one of the best tacos in London. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Queen Tinga Arepa Someone once told us that arepas are overrated. And while we’d opt for the tacos almost every time, a single tomatoey chicken and melted cheese-filled corn pocket from this place is enough to make any arepa hater eat their words. (And a whole arepa). photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Chilli Beef Taco A hearty, meaty minced beef taco that does what it says on the tin. It’s slightly spicy, it’s satisfying, and it’s three mouthfuls of juicy beef with a high chance of you getting messy. Prawn Taco Gobernador This is our second favourite after the baja fish, and we could easily finish off a box of three of these light grilled prawn and melted cheese tacos for lunch. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Chicken Fajita Taco Winner winner chicken fajita taco dinner has a nice ring to it, no? Maybe not, but this spicy chicken taco is filled with crunchy peppers, plenty of onions, and is a great way to spend £3. Churros The perfect ending to a meal here, these churros are thin and covered in cinnamon, and the dulce de leche sauce is caramel-y without being sickly." - Rianne Shlebak

Had to visit this place for Taco Tuesday ! All tacos priced at 2.5£ (for Taco Tuesday) - homemade, counter pressed and served, big amount of filling and the taste was so good I had to try them all. You got a few tables outside but a lot of people go for the takeaway. Food to table was super quick and the staff were super helpful and attentive. If you in the area i highly recommend to visit this place and try it out.

Reminded me why I swore not to have Mexican in London. This city does a lot of things brilliantly, Mexican cuisine really just isn't one of them. Between my friend & I, we had a chili beef naked burrito, a beef birria enchilada, 2 tacos each of chicken tinga & pork pastor. 11ish am on a Tuesday, the pastor was dry, tough and not very tasty. The chicken tinga was juicy but not very tasty. I appreciated the freshness of the chili beef, grilled with a generous amount of onion, green & red bell pepper. Flavor-wise it was good, I just wished there was more beef so I could taste it more. Together with the rice, the side salad & the beans (a bit salty) it was a solid ok. The enchiladas looked proper cheesy on the outside. The beef was tasty & not dry. Serving size was outstanding for the price, but again, wish there were more filling. The guac that came with the tacos (now wonder if we could have asked for some for the burritos) was a bit thin. Chili sauce wasn't very spicy. I actually wonder if they held back in spice for us, but really, there was no heat in that whole meal. With the outdoor seating, it's admittedly a nice spot. May go back for the churros & horchata. Don't travel for it, but ok enough for people already nearby.

Looked great, with good strong reviews. However, we visited about 3somethingPM. 3 tacos and a burrito and a drink £25. We got the food and not the drink, but that's fine. The tacos were tiny and sparsley filled. The a tual soft taco was good but the fillings lacking flavour and substance, gone in a mouthful. The burrito wasn't toasted from the outside which led to it's structural integrity being non existent. The refried beans however were the best part. The chicken in the burrito was charred nicely but again wasn't juicy or moist and lacked overall flavour. Conclusion: not a lot of food for £25 and it lacked any pazazz. Unfortunately we would not return.

People were super nice that's why I'm giving four stars. Food was just fine for me honestly. I like it and would come back, but it's not top notch for me. Salsa Verde was not spicy.

Went on Tuesday £2 tacos and knew there would be a wait. Arrived at 8:20pm, ordered by 8:30pm and started eating just before 9:30pm. We chose one of each taco flavour (excluding veggie) so 9 tacos between us. Probably could've had 1 or 2 more. Good range of flavours, smallish tacos but pretty packed with filling, my husband thinks the tortillas could maybe be a little thinner. 3 tables available which were packed when we arrived, however we managed to get a seat by the time our food was ready.
