Google
Girlfriend I a we’re very disappointed in the steak tacos. The steak in the photos on their website looks nothing like what we were served. Very cheap cuts of steak and there were three big bites of inedible fat we both had to spit out. I wouldn’t ever eat here again, and would like to be compensated for this terrible meal we had. Even the salsa was subpar. We took our store bought generic salsa out of our fridge to better enjoy this meal. Owners- you need to do a quality check on the food at this location. This steak was flavorless and not at all enjoyable. Presentation was nice, but you can see the fat we spit out in this picture. You can also see the color difference between the steak served vs what was advertised.

Google
Tacos my guey is THE place to get tacos in the entire area. I drove 18 minutes to eat here and it was worth every minute. The customer service was on par with the tacos. These are legit tacos. None of that nasty knock off stuff. Don’t worry about the cry babies a the low reviews, I included a pic of their amazing steak tacos. I ended up ordering two more after my first order! Luis is a the face of this establishment and he is clearly a leader here as well. Make sure you pay him good before another business owner makes him a better offer. You will lose out!

Google
Ordered my 3 tacos to go. They all had 2 tortillas per taco. They were pretty good. I usually get the carne asada wherever I go, but here, I think the chicken was better. The sauces were delicious. Would love to eat here again.

Google
Tasteless food and cheap corner cutting cuisine. I ordered the "steak bowl" which had baby cuts of steak so they could save money. I'm from LA and have enjoy so much delicious Mexican cuisine. This is a cheap place with tasteless food. Loaded with all the cheap ingredients (rice, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions to fill you up and almost no protein. Very minor amounts of tasteless, small chopped "steak". DO NOT COME HERE.

Google
Fantastic fast casual spot. Authentic Mexican street fare prepared in a clean and friendly restaurant. We had the steak soft tacos in a corn tortilla and another with the pork al pastor. Generous filling with fresh onions and cilantro. The pineapple pieces in the pork al pastor was the right amount. The star of the show was the birria quesadilla which came with a 3 pieces, side of queso, side of homestyle birria (dipping sauce). Super flavorful and not overly salted. The place has a cool ambiance with murals and decor of Mexican wrestler masks, day of the dead stuff, etc. Dessert was Nutella churros (yum!). Washed it all down with a horchata which is a nice, refreshing creamy beverage made from rice. Stop by and you won’t be disappointed!!

Found this spot on TiKTok and it actually lives up to the hype. The cashier Zoe was very sweet and helpful. I went during Happy Hour and got a delicious margarita for like 4 bucks. I recommend the margarita with Tajin. Will Definitely be back !

Google
Yummy food, fast and great service! Would definitely go back. The birria tacos were light and delicious, the fried cheese was something I hadn’t seen had before. The esquites was one of the best we’ve had. Hubby got the birria quesadilla and loved it, full of meat and cheese. Also the horchata was a close 2nd to our favorite but the best we’ve had in a while.

Google
Came to Tacos My Guey for the first time and Victoria greeted me immediately with a smile and suggested delicious menu items. Provided amazing customer service and Yudy prepared them with love and authenticity! Try their tacos de carne asada! Very good food and intimate restaurant. Will be back for more!

Yelp
The Rundown: local chain with friendly service featuring tacos, quesadillas, and other Mexican food favorites. The Review: I was seeking a late night food option and saw this location was opened. Wanting to try something more local, I gave it a go. First impression upon entering was enjoyable. The atmosphere is colorful, with small decor features all over (even up in rafters) giving a very pleasant vibe especially for a quiet (due to late hour) location. They offer a self-service kiosk if you don't want to wait in line. I had questions (like what half and full meant for serving sizes) and talked to the counter staff. The staff were all very friendly and clearly there with the goal to provide an enjoyable food experience. First question, on sizes half (for quesadillas anyways) meant 3 pieces (or 1 folded tortilla) and large meant 6 (2). They had a birria menu going so I figured I'd try this seasonal option (which only came in half size). The agua frescas offer three options (pineapple, jamaica, and horchata) - after tasting I went with the horchata. The staff member was helpful with my navigating options and ensuring that ingredients were suitable for my taste. Pricing felt a bit steep overall, coming in at around $18 for half quesadilla (3 pieces) and a large drink. Though I did appreciate that the agua frescas were similar cost to fountain (~$4). While it is a local and smaller option, it's hard to not compare the cost to that of a sit down restaurant. Taste was overall excellent fortunately! The quesadilla was flavorful (though difficult to dip in the birria, which was kind of the point - I'd recommend perhaps considering smaller cut sizes instead of sticking with the three?) and I appreciated the queso and sour cream additions. The agua fresca was alright, I've experienced better elsewhere. Overall, I'm glad I stopped in. The happy vibe and tasty food was a nice end to the day. I would certainly return but probably only if I happened to be in the area for their lunch options though as menu appeared to be bit more reasonable in cost for the offerings for my taste than the evening pricing. I'm definitely curious to see how this chain expands in the future!

Yelp
During my stay in Orlando I decided to stop by before heading back south. The decor is festive with bright colors and it feels welcoming. The service was friendly and ordering was a breeze. You order at the register and then they bring you the food to your table. I had the quesadilla and it was delicious. For a quick sit down lunch or dinner, this is your place.

Yelp
This is the second location I've been too and wasn't disappointed! My drink was absolutely delicious. The strawberry mango margarita was honestly so refreshing and tasty, definitely a go to drink of mine. I forgot to take a pic of our tacos, but we got pastor, chicken, and carnitas. They were super good. We went on taco Tuesday where you can get 3 tacos, a drink, and chips & salsa for $10. Everyone there was super sweet. You can order on the screen or with a worker. They were playing great Spanish music that fit the ambiance!

Yelp
Had the birria tacos with consomé and an horchata for pickup . Taste was good, tacos had a good amount of meat on them as well.

Yelp
Went for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't busy at this time. The girl who took our order was nice she let me sample the horchata before getting it. The agua fresca horchata was good. Kevin got the strawberry mango margarita, it was so delicious. Starting at 3pm they have a happy hour on the margaritas. We got the birria quesadilla and I regret it. It was greasy and had no flavor. We ordered queso but wish they girl had told us the birria quesadilla comes with a side of queso. It also comes with sour cream and the birria dipping sauce. Wish we ordered the tacos instead. If I was to go back it would be for the happy hour and to try the tacos.

Yelp
I come here often not only because the food is delicious but the service is great as well ! You can tell the workers here love what they do I haven't had a bad experience once !

Yelp
Everything from the service to the food and ambiance was great, will be coming soon for sure (:

Yelp
The empanadas and tacos are absolutely delicious beyond belief! They also give you a side of sour cream, salsa verde, broth which is filled with collagen and healthy! Their horchata is incredibly delicious! All and all it's affordable, filling and delicious! Quick and friendly service and great ambiance.

Yelp
Great quick stop for delicious tacos. Love the street taco style, delicious protein options and I could have the carnitas tacos daily
google avatar

Yelp
After visiting next door, we got hungry and decided to give them a try. We sure were pleasantly surprised! Not only were we greeted by friendly staff, but the food was great! Nestor was nice, friendly, attentive and happy to make recommendations. We chorizo queso dip and chips, street tacos (chicken, steak), tostada (steak) and a frozen lime strawberry margarita (delicious, refreshing and not overly sweet)! We will definitely come back when we are around the area and try their location in downtown.

Yelp
Food was ready, tacos were good af. Second time going and it was great. No pictures ate it too fast.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
The best way to describe the food is good for non-authentic Mexican food, bad for authentic Mexican food. It blows stuff like Taco Bell and Chipotle away but if you are looking for the real deal you may be a little disappointed. The good news is the food is quick and they are open late. Plus a little cilantro can save any taco. All in all the food hit the spot and I would definitely return.

Yelp
Was in the mood for Taco Tuesday and decided to hit this place up to try it out. They had a lot of business, a constant stream of customers coming and going. Loved the ambience of the place, very cute decor and energy. Service was super fast and the staff was superb. We got the elote as well as birria tacos and a shrimp street taco. The elote was a 6/10, good flavor but the cheese was a little paste-textured and only on one side of the cob. 7/10 for the birria, good flavor and a good touch of crisp thrown in. The shrimp was a fried/battered shrimp and also a 7/10. I will say that the tacos are smaller than normal tacos which makes them very cute but the price is the same as it would be for a normal sized taco so make sure you're aware you might need to order more here to get the same amount of fullness as other places.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Not bad. The tacos had a decent flavor. You can order from the kiosk, which is a nice touch. No tap water, which is a bit lame.

Yelp
Always a great place to eat some good fast Mexican food! Highly recommend the HC location, staff always helpful.

Yelp
Pretty simple restaurant the food was yummy and priced well definitely a decent place if you're craving tacos! server was very kind!

Yelp
We dropped by on a rainy day for lunch and gotta say, the tacos were pretty tasty and the drinks were yummy. The chips and salsa and guacamole was also tasty and fresh. Good option for quick and easy lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall really impressed with the quickness of service and quality of the food. Our first order was so good we ordered 2 additional tacos to share, fried shrimp and a chorizo. Worth it! The queso was a nice to add to everything as well as cheese and lettuce

Yelp
I wanna call this spot our "not-so-hidden, hidden gem" 'cause this place is definitely one you're gonna wanna hit up if you're in #orlando. Everything they make feels fresh, authentic, hella flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We especially enjoy the ambiance (nothing fussy!) which plays an homage to Mexican culture in every which way from past to present. Super friendly service (I see yo, Carlos) We highly recommend their #birriatacos, mango frozen margaritas (insane!), and cheesecake chimichanga for dessert

Raphaela C.

Yelp
Tacos amazing, fast, friendly, amazing. And they're open till 3:00am on Friday and sat!!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm picky about Mexican food. Most places have sad, dull, and lifeless food and decor. This quick serve place made me happy. The ambience and food is colorful and playful. It's a busy place but the counter service is good. They serve tacos, tortas, churros, Mexican soda, beer, and margaritas.
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
*** To go order*** I tried the steak bowl and a pastor taco. The steak bowl wasn't bad. The steak was cut up small so I didn't taste it as much. The pastor taco was pretty good ! The flavors were there but remember it's a street taco so it's on the smaller side. Just order more tacos and you will be fine. I will be interested to try other things on the menu

Yelp
Cute, small, and cozy, fast food Mexican food. Open late nights. Tacos, Burritos, Quesadilla, Vegan options. Love their Dulce de Leche cheesecake chimichanga! So crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside.

Yelp
What happened to my favorite Taco place. Some days tacos great others great other days very dry no flavor. No consistency. Also one time saw employee doing something unsanitary

Yelp
I really liked this place a lot. Definitely a great local spot to support over chains! The first thing you notice when you walk in is the incredible art on the walls and ceilings. I wish I had asked someone who painted it all because it really is impressive and beautiful. They fit so much decoration and color into their small space. Just a very pretty spot to sit down for a meal. We got chips n salsa, four of the tacos, and a shrimp tostada with a side of guac. All of the tacos were great, I had the fish which was delicious, I'm not sure all the kinds my friend had but they definitely raved about the lamb. The tacos also came with a lime and two kinds of tasty sauces! The tostada was amazing as well, so many toppings and flavors! Very filling. In my mind you can't go wrong with salsa and guac but I'd say these were both pretty good as well! The service was fantastic as well, the girl at the counter was dealing with a pretty crazy lunch rush when we went but she was still so pleasant and smiley. She was super quick and helpful. The beer and margs are super cheap here too! My friend got a beer and it was served in a nice chilled glass with a handle which I wouldn't expect at a place where you're only paying $5/beer! Great prices, great atmosphere, really great food. Please consider this place next time you have a taco craving!

Yelp
I've never heard of this chain before, but when my friend suggested tacos near the Hunters Creek area. I was all about it. We walked in about 5pm on a Tuesday. There was patio high tops located outside and some booths and tables inside. When you approach the counter you can either order on a self serve screen or the worker can take your order. We decided to order with the cashier and I was impressed by their extensive menu. They have everything from tacos to salads, burritos, bowls, and everything seems to be customizable which is nice! We chose an outdoor table as it was great weather and our food arrived shortly after. I ordered three tacos. They were cheap (2.89 each) but a little lackluster in flavor. The sauce definitely helped add to it so I would recommend getting the tacos with their spicy Mayo. I didn't really care for the tacos and I didn't like that they didn't have a soda fountain and only had bottled water, BUT, I think I will come back and try their other menu items.

Yelp
Tacos My Guey (and yes, I googled in an attempt to get a translation!) is located in the Village Park Shopping Center. Tacos won out over Sushi. You walk in, order & pay upon arrival. I was totally unprepared. I should have mulled over the menu before entering. Off the cuff, I ordered two soft flour tacos; one being Fish & the other Shrimp. The shrimp & fish is fried, but they were very good with the chipotle sauce & cabbage. The cashier hooked me up with some chips & a side of queso in lieu of a full order. The Tacos are small (2-3 bites) but between the chips and Thanks to YELP, a complimentary Churro (2) that was so tasty; freshly made with a honey drizzle and whipped cream, I left fully satisfied. The occupancy limit is 42 so seating could be an issue during busy times. I'd definitely do Tacos My Guey again. Maybe next time I'll try a burrito, poke bowl or salad.
google avatar

Jacob R.

Yelp
We came here hungry after arriving at the airport and LOVED our experience. Our group of 8 was served quickly and while we were eating, they offered us some churros! Of course we said yes! Great food, very kind staff, exactly what we were looking for. Also, Birria is a must.
google avatar

Jose P.

Yelp
This was my first time at Tacos my Guey. I've been wanting to try their food for a while, but distance was always an issue. I was in the Hunter's Creek area and decided to give them a try. The first thing you will notice is how friendly the staff is. I had their Birria Tacos Trio and it was good! The tacos had a decent amount of beef and toppings. They come with the Birria consome on the side, so you can dip your tacos. I would definitely try them again if I'm in the area. My only complaint? $12.99 is a bit too steep for 3 tacos. I was in a hurry and starving, so I forgot to take pics!
google avatar

Larry S.

Yelp
First off the customer service was great. Enjoyed talking with the counter people. Very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the variety of tacos ordered. The flavors were outstanding. There was special menu pricing for bulk buys. Good savings
google avatar

Cheryl V.

Yelp
After I got over the fact that this place was filthy dirty, I checked their Lifekitchen score, and found that it was safe to eat here. We had just come in from Tampa and we were starving, so we didn't have much to choose from in this area. We saw that they had great reviews so decided to give them a try. I ordered a Carnitas taco and a shrimp taco. Didn't realize the shrimp was breaded and itsy bitsy tiny little pieces of shrimp. I will say that the chipotle dressing was really delicious. My friend ordered a Carnitas taco and a chicken flauta. She definitely was not impressed with the taste of either item. I ordered the Mexican Street corn, and laughed out loud when they brought it to the table. I didn't laugh at the waiter, but I laughed at the dish! It was canned corn and had some horrific Cotija cheese on top, that was so salty, it ruined the entire dish. I'm not used to seeing canned corn when you order Mexican street corn. lol Definitely not a place that I would return to.

Yelp
Food and service was great! Staff was very hospitable and food was tasty. The nachos were excellent and plentiful
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
I got tacos to go. I got two chicken and one chorizo, as well as there chips and salsa. The food was so good and even came with some sauces to try and a lime! I'll be back to try more items on their menu.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Extremely friendly owner gave great recommendations. A short drive from MCO. Food truck location is tucked away, but phone nav got me here no problem.
google avatar

Andrea A.

Yelp
First, the atmosphere was all Mexico. From the name to the beautiful painting of the Mexican flag on the interior. It started to go downhill with the Reggaeton music nonstop, which was confusing to atmosphere. Not typical Mexican style. The food was NOT four star, at all. We had the elote as an appetizer, it was drenched in a crema. Not the typical dressing for a Mexican elote. Mexican fries with Al pastor meat. This was barely edible. Not sure which ingredients caused all the fries to be wet and mushy, but at the bottom of the plate, it was like the fries were sitting in soup. The guacamole was bland and chips, were extremely over salted. The Carne Asada torta, was good and probably the only item we found appealing. We are from the west coast visiting, excited to see what Mexican style food Florida could serve us. Depending heavily on the yelp ratings. This rating was deceptive and misleading.
google avatar

Kristian R.

Yelp
I've had hits and misses with the food here. I recommend the birria tacos but not the burritos. The ambiance is chill and casual. Service has always been good when I go.

Peter B.

Yelp
Good service and food. They have tables to eat in. The place was nicely decorated. The hot sauce was not spicy, but that was fine.
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
With so many options for tacos and Mexican food in central Orlando, be sure you do not miss your opportunity to eat here! Seriously, you won't regret it! One of the most genuine and friendly staff I've experienced in a restaurant in this area. No lie, for almost a year we pronounced the establishment as "Tacos My GUY" and not once were we ever corrected. Definitely try the My Guey Fries - a side of Picante sauce surprisingly pairs really well with their fries. You really can't go wrong with any of their main coarse items. The quesadillas and burritos are massive, the tacos are delicious and affordable, and even their nachos are a helpful portion! Hopefully you get the pleasure of meeting Carlos, who will never fail to get you to either smile or laugh during your visit.
google avatar

Jose T.

Yelp
For Florida, this is the best street taco joint in the area that can keep up with West Coast quality.
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
Great tacos in Hunters Creek. Fun atmosphere. We had a Mexican coke and a horchata to drink. The horchata was great, not too sweet, and refreshing. This place offers tongue, tripe, and lamb tacos and that's what I had. All five of the selections were delicious. It only needed more lime wedges and some radish for the garnish. The Al pastor was very good as well. The churro was warm and crunchy on the outside, delicious.
google avatar

Ivanna P.

Yelp
Right across the street from my house, and this is now my FAV taco Tuesday spot. It's small but great for dinning in. The menu is very broad. We ordered tacos, a burrito & their fries. The fries were very food, I wish the melted cheese was on top the Tacos were great, meet was very well cooked. Totally will be going back.
google avatar

Bob V.

Yelp
Got the tostada, with mushrooms subbed for the meat. Arrived hot, with tasty cotija cheese. Went down real easy! Super fresh and super fast - what's not to like?
google avatar

Riane M.

Yelp
This was a very spontaneous spot for me, but I just happened to be in the area and let me tell you, I'm very glad i did stop! The service was pretty fast and the food was delicious as well. I ordered online and got the steak nachos, which were absolutely huge! The flavors were all there very smoky, cheesy, and refreshing from the pico. The atmosphere of the location was very nice as well, there was music playing and the employees seemed to be having a good time as well as moving quickly. There was plenty of seating as well.
google avatar

Scot B.

Yelp
Food is excellent & friendly staff are always ready to please. Hard to find but worth it.
google avatar

Dee C.

Yelp
Very good. The tacos look tiny but they are filling and taste amazing. They are also only like $2 so well worth it.

Denis I M.

Yelp
I ordered tacos on Uber Eats. When I arrived, they said they didn't receive my order. I showed them my phone to prove that I did place an order. After seeing it, they said it would take 10 to 15 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager about the inconvenience, but the manager didn't come to speak to me. I finally received my food 25 minutes after the initially promised time.

Marichard R.

Yelp
first time coming here & I must say, not the best experience. the food was mid, the service was trash, & I bought a margarita & at 2:00am, the server told me it was illegal to have that drink in their restaurant & demanded me to give her my drink.. didn't even give me the option to drink the rest, no, just straight up "give me the drink". wouldn't recommend tbh. ambiance is nice as far as the decor on the walls. if I could put 0 stars, I would. thanks for coming to my ted talk
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
Tacos My Guey is a must-stop for me whenever I'm in Orlando. It's a relatively small, super laid-back spot that can do no wrong in my eyes. I love that you can choose from all kinds of meats like chicken, chorizo, and al pastor. You can also get your meal in a variety of options such as quesadillas, burritos, tacos, and bowls. All with phenomenal prices! My favorites are the nachos which come LOADED with toppings and the bowls. I was so impressed with how much food they managed to stuff into the to-go container for my chorizo bowl. The bowl comes with beans, rice, sour cream, lettuce, pico de gallo, corn, cheese, and meat of your choice. I always pick up an elote or two for the road, too. Don't forget to grab dessert. I've had the churros and the cheesecake chimichanga. Both are delicious, but the churros have my heart. They're filled with dulce de leche, tossed in cinnamon sugar, and topped with caramel. Pretty sweet even for a dessert, but my mouth waters just thinking of them! The restaurant is tucked away in a plaza so parking is a breeze. I just wish I had one closer to my house!
