Tacos Y Mas - Lower Greenville

I got Togo barria taco platter and I have to say they were pretty darn good. Even the presentation was nice. Wish they came with 3 instead but maybe I’m just a big back. Lol 5 stars.

So I’ll say the Birra were better today than before, me and my girl come here because it’s on the way to her job my rating is so low one because À la carte these tacos are roughly $5 each and for $5 it’s doesn’t even come with consume which is crazy because what’s birra without consume it’s 2.99$ for a small container of consume if you Want consume then you have to pay $15 for two Birra tacos with rice and beans , then when you ask for a full cup of consume they get upset when I asked for a full cup the lady told me I was fine with what I had when I asked again she abrasively told me give her the cup smh the consume did not have much flavor I had to bring it home and add some flavor to it we will for sure find another place to get our tacos also the quesadillas don’t have much cheese smh

I just visit. The food was delicious and did not take a long time for them to deliver my order. I came out with my family however, as soon as I get ready to take a bite of my taco, I spilled the whole plate of my food. The lady came and saw that I spelt it and remade it. That type of kindness made my day

4 STARS ⭐️ out of 10, As someone who has tried over 1,000 Taco Joints. The tortillas were dry and crumbly, taking away from what should have been a fresh, soft base for the tacos. The meat wasn’t much better—dry, flavorless, and desperately in need of seasoning. Even the lemon slices they served on the side were dry, like they had been sitting out all day. Overall, it felt like no real care went into the food. Definitely not the worst place I’ve eaten at, but I won’t be eating at any of their locations.

I got the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. I really wanted to like this place but the food was a giant let down. The rice wasn't cooked completely and dry and the quesadilla was super soft with chicken that tasted as it were straight from a can with no seasoning. I'll give them another chance but my expectations are very low. Hopefully it was just an off day for them.

Tacos are great, great flavor and cooked fresh. You have to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for your food but it's definitely worth the wait. The prices are reasonable and the staff was Kool.

I’ve been to this location for years, and this has been the strangest tacos I’ve had. My family is from Mexico, but the pastor and the carnitas tasted l b cinnamon, and I don’t mean a slight cinnamon flavor. We ordered 10 tacos but they were just awful, the tortillas are meh- not great but acceptable

Absolutely the best tacos I’ve ever had! All flavours were delicious with amazing customer service and great prices! MUST TRY!

Had the Big D burrito which is HUGE and very filling, but I paid extra for guac and when I got home realized it wasn't in the bag nor on the burrito. And the bag was so extremely tied that there really wasn't a way to check the order before leaving. And I might have also assumed the guac was in the burrito. The burrito was very good, though, thus the good rating. Just super annoying when places conveniently 'forget' to include extras that were paid for. Also - if you order online they also charge you like a $2 convenience fee and then also ask for a tip.

Who has better tacos in the city? I'll wait.. This restaurant is full of simple greatness. Their tacos are fantastic, the service is phenomenal, and the wait time has been a consistent, small amount of time since I started going here years ago. I love their diverse menu and ability to change things up however you want. Everyone is kind and thorough, making it an enjoyable experience every visit.

As a host on Warm Showers, I would always treat my guests to dinner at Tacos y Mas. Great selection of street tacos and tasty elote (street corn). My cyclist guests were always famished when they arrived by bicycle, and were grateful to eat at a wallet friendly establishment, especially on Taco Tuesday. The location is in Lower Greenville, a hipster area consisting of bars, live music and a plethora of eateries.

Well I cannot choose 0 stars but if I could, I would. I ordered 2 bistec sopes and I have no idea what meat I got. There was a puddle of orange oil under the sopes. I asked for bistec tacos because I didn't want anything greasy... The smell was really bad, there was something definitely rotten in there. I have no idea what meat they gave me. It smelled awful and tasted even worse. The lady at the counter, was not in a good mood and was giving me an attitude the whole time. Very disappointing experience! I do not recommend for anyone to go there at all. Gross food, bad service, mystery meat. Yuk!

Super fast service and a great variety of items to try. The breakfast tacos are super filled so even for a hefty eater you probably need no more than two!

Good location and quality tacos for a great price. Plenty of options on the menu if you don't know what you want.

10/10 RECOMMEND. They have the sweetest staff, and the service was quick! If you're craving authentic breakfast tacos, this spot is a must-visit. It's a cute little walk-up to order your tacos, and there is seating outside to enjoy your taco. Highly recommend!

Well we stopped to grab a bite and I have to say maybe we did not get what they do best but by the recommendation of the cashier we tried the brisket tacos and corn cup. The taco had lettuce crème and brisket with a sprinkle of cheese. Unfortunately the brisket had no flavor just tough chewy meat. We got the medium salsa and also really no flavor. The corn had all the toppings and once stirred in had some flavor but the corn was overcooked chewy maybe canned corn. The meal tied us over but not something I would order again. You have a walk up win with outside seating only.

If you want mid tacos, this is the place. The al pastor is a disappointment and the queso is a joke. I'm better off grabbing cheese from my fridge and putting it in the microwave. There are much better authentic taco places around DFW.

Not much for atmosphere nor ambiance unless you like being next to a self serve car wash. But the taco platter was excellent and the meat perfectly prepared. I love well made street tacos and this place is legit.

One of the best spots to start with on the lower end of the Greenville Strip if you're out for drinks and for a good time.

I ordered here because Uber eats had a buy one get one free coupon for their 6 taco plate so that's what I got, 6 chicken and 6 steak street tacos. In Uber eats the 6 taco plate is 16.99 however in person it's only 13.99. Not too sure if it's the restaurant doing that or Uber eats, nonetheless 12 tacos for $16. Isn't too bad. The food was ready quickly, within less than 20 minutes The steak tacos were delicious, they were light handed on the protein. The chicken was less than impressive. They have a variety of salsas and gave us 4 different kinds to try. All were good in their own right each having varying spice levels and flavor profiles. They definitely took the tacos over the top. I also got rice, beans and elote. the rice was honestly the best I ever had, so good! The elote wasn't my favorite. I wasn't a fan of the cream they used. The queso was a little watery but good

The printed receipt they give you shows one amount but the amount that they actually charge you is higher. This has happened on our two separate visits and we will no longer visit this restaurant for this reason. This has been reported to the Texas Attorney General's Office.

Too greasy and the cilantro was brown and avocado did not taste fresh. They put a little more thought into the way the package foods. For example, if I'm ordering nachos, perhaps it would be better not only for the delivery person when they're delivering the food but also to the customer when they receive it if so that the chips aren't soggy because of the toppings I would highly suggest they package all of those sides separately instead of directly on top of the chips as again by the time it gets to the customer everything is soggy. Maybe it works when they're serving it in person and the customer is eating it immediately but it does not work, and it is not practical on deliveries.

This place gives food truck hole in the wall vibes... But it is the best food truck hole in the wall you'll ever eat. The tacos were super flavorful and I ate them in about three minutes. They only got four stars because they charge me for for tacos when I only asked for 3. Other than that I'll be back!

If I could give this place a zero I would. It's unfortunate that my very first review has to be a negative review but here we are. There are a few things with my order that went wrong. 1. We ordered two burritos because my mom wanted chorizo. The chorizo has no flavor we were really disappointed. 2. We ordered two fountain drinks to go with our order and they were either not given to our DoorDash driver or they simply forgotten them nonetheless we were thirsty. 3. What made me write this review was the lack of care that was made when making the eggs that end up in to my burrito. I currently have 6 pieces of egg shells on my plate and a really big piece of fatty meat that was in my moms burrito. Please try to be safe with the egg shells, thank you I hope to try you guys again.

Recently came to pick up a quesadilla plate and chips & queso. The quesadilla was fine, but it would be nice if y'all would stop putting the lettuce and tomato salad in the same spot as the quesadilla. The water drains from the it and makes the quesadilla soggy. The biggest problem I had with my past order was I was given a bag full of STALE chips for my queso, I could even enjoy my meal. I will not be back!!

Food is very good. We really enjoy it...However, constantly check your food. We keep coming back and expecting different results but have not been that lucky. Atleast 4 times we get the incorrect food or they forget a small item that was ordered. So always check your order at the window for accuracy.

Tacos were pretty good but not great. I am still in search of great tacos in the Dallas area. What I did like is the service was fast and the patio was decent. Although you can't move the tables around. Also they have a variety of sauces for whatever you might like.

worst customer service ever! ordered a order online and had it delivered, they forgot my drink completely and when I called to ask about it and what could be done, instead they refused any solution and thought the best outcome was to just hang up on me 3 different times!

No fuss taco stand. Friendly service. Happy to finally find a spot that features seafood street tacos. Saw sign and will definitely come for their $1.99 deal with all tacos on Tuesdays in the future. Satisfying were my bites of their "Marinero" and "Pescador" tacos. Well coated and marinated were the shrimps; nice flour tortilla; fresh and simple garnishes; amazing is/was their BOMBERO salsa. I'm a big taco fan, and we come here a lot. I'd say everything is well done except for the oddball getting your order just completely off. Not like "we missed your cheese" off but like "I just got 4 completely different tacos when I ordered only 2 to begin with" off.

I love the breakfast here. I will drive out of my way to come for their food and wonderful service. They are very polite and I recommend any of their food.

Came here for a breakfast burrito and it was $5-$6 for just a chorizo, onion, egg and cheese burrito which is a bit expensive considering the size. The service was not super fast or slow but food was very hot when done! The chiptole ranch was excellent! I would come back!

These tacos need some work. Everything was dry except the Bistec. The salsas weren't flavorful. Everything was lacking in flavor. Not to mention that the service was so slow and they forgot the elotes. Didn't realize it till it was too late to turn around. Wayyy better tacos and service down the street.

I decided to rate this place because I've passed by a few times and I'm a huge fan of street tacos! My personal favorite & #1 go to as regular for 10+ years is still Fuel City Tacos near Riverfront in Downtown Dallas. But I have grown through out the years and have many tasks to accomplish in so little time... I decided today to give this spot a chance! I ordered 2 Beef Tacos w/ corn tortillas and The green and red sauces for spicy because I LOVE SPICY The staffing at my time of visit 3:30pm Wednesday was fully staffed and respectful and quick, I'm currently sitting and eating my order while I watch my vehicle get HAND WASHED Inside and out! For an amazing price maybe I'll add photos of the that too because I knocked 2 birds out in 1 stone by FINALLY getting a detail for my car!‍ and a nice snack before I dive into my emails. HENCE TO REMOTE Business PROFESSIONALS!! Now my review on the food. I always order beef (beef steak) tacos on corn and they're beef has flavor however it's more so like ground-beef... that's not on my list of meats when I go grocery shopping sooo maybe I wasn't specific enough but I didn't expect ground beef but hey you live and you learn! And I Desperately needed an interior detail BADDD!

I ended up ordering a burrito and I was unimpressed. The burrito had a fast food/corporatized taste to it and not the heart and soul that you expect from true Mexican food.

I love their tacos and queso. The tacos are always super fresh. The location is hard as people drive like crazies on Ross and Greenville. I love it for a quick lunch.

Service is fast. Personally, I did not like the tacos. I ordered one Veracruz and one capitán. Mediocre. The tortilla did not have a great flavor. The Veracruz taco was dry and the cheese did not compliment the taco. The sauces provided were also not tasty. One was sweet

Do not come to this place. The service is horrible and they announce false pricing. The sign clearly states $1.99 ALL TACOS on Tuesday and then they said "oh no it's only for certain tacos. When I asked them to owner the price they said no and so we told them to void the order because they had also charged a $.60 card fee without telling us. When we told the manager she said it was on the window which was open so the sign was not visible. Rather than apologizing she said "you should've asked" but how are we supposed to know? So ridiculous that they would not take responsibility for having the wrong pricing first of all and then for hiding additional charges from the customers. Tacos are shit anyways. I'd rather order from taqueria taxco and pay the delivery fee than to come here that's walking distance from where I live.

Hard pass on the crispy tacos. $12 for 3 tacos?? I am all about paying for food but these tacos were not good. Taco bueno has better crispy tacos. Rice and beans tasted like they were straight out of a can from Fiesta. Won't be back.

I ordered dinner here tonight 6/12/23 and it was ok. I ordered a enchilada plate and another different plate and both orders were wrong. When I went to pick them up the gave he two orders of different taco plates one had 6 beef tacos and one had 3 other tacos with some kind of weird looking sauce. By the time I got home a notice that they were wrong i had already eaten some of the food. The Taco didn't taste right I know this is a place to get street tacos but these were stale and didn't taste good at all. I know I won't be back.

I have never been inside this restaurant. Always choose to order delivery. The tacos are just "ok". They are great for the price, cheap tacos you can buy in bulk. But they are the equivalent of taking rotisserie chicken from your local grocery , shredding it, cutting an onion and put it all into a tortilla. Is it good? Sure. Could anyone make them? Absolutely But you're paying for convenience. They are quick to make and quick to deliver. I will say that have this AWESOME orange sauce/salsa. It is creamy and extremely flavorful. A great topping to any taco you choose. The rice is just - meh. Again. Just "ok". If you want cheap tacos that will fill ya up, look no further. If you want something that will hit you with loads of flavor, you may want to go to Velvet Taco, La Ventana or Torchy's.

I DoorDash Tacos y Mas at least once a week and they have lately become lazy with the order prep. You can pay for additional sauces, you won't get them. You can order two chips & salsas, you will get one stale order. Ridiculous. Do not edit my order to make it what you prefer to pack. Food is usually great, but my last few orders have been subpar.

The best street tacos in Dallas! Don't be fooled by the building's appearance, tacos y mas is full of flavor and perfectly grilled tacos. The shrimp tacos are the best I've ever had, and every bite is perfectly cooked. Highly recommend.

I'm a believer of second chances and so I gave this place another shot. This time I ordered the Mexican Street taco platter with lengua, barbacoa, and pastor. Platter comes with Mexican rice and refried beans. This time, the fillings were plentiful where it was difficult keeping the taco together. It was not a bad problem to have. The protein in each one was also tender and very flavorful. I will definitely go back for more street tacos. Not too bad at $1.99 each. Service is quick which is also a plus.

Have been craving a chicken torta so decided to grab one (did not hit the spot) also ordered a chicken quesadilla (which was pretty good) the lemonade not that good. I personally think this place is way over priced especially for the quantity, portion in food, and the fact it's a hole in the wall. Maybe because of the location and lack of competition. The workers are nice and helpful but it's definitely a last minute type of tex mex fix. Also coming back from a hometown trip with reasonable priced and amazing Mexican food like Corpus Christi is tough to compare to. I wouldn't recommend someone looking for great taste and quantity.

Was driving by and was in the taste of tacos so I figured why not. Pretty basic standard taco spot. I ordered the big D which was pretty basic in my opinion. The sauces are super good though I tried 2. I think I'll stick to my authentic Mexican street tacos instead. They also charge a "convenience fee" if you use your debit card.

This is one of my favorite taco spots. The taste is great and being that it is right down the street from my house, I am able to drive about five minutes or less grab tacos and slap them in my face on those nights I don't feel like cooking. They offer breakfast all day, they don't make your food until you order it, so it is guaranteed to be fresh!" I learned about this company also from catering for my job downtown. They are great for large groups of catering orders and they do deliver. Highly recommended!

This was my first time here, I was really excited because of all the reviews. I did like the authenticity of the restaurant. I originally came here for a "cup of corn" but I also added a quesadilla. I watch them prepare my meal and my first impression was very disappointing that's why I rated it three stars the corn was not actually from an corn on the cob,it was from a can and coming from all the reviews I was really expecting authentic street corn the ingredients we're OK I would add more butter and more sour cream I felt like their toppings weren't really enough for the whole cup of canned corn that I received. My quesadilla was basic just all cheese and it was good tasty. So no complaints there but I don't think I'll be returning.

Today I went with husband and my four children based on recommendations to come here - mind you we are coming Colorado and moving to ATL so we decided to take the scenic route. Before hand, I did google search and got their menu and it said that there was a family which includes two sides of rice and 2 sides of the beans and 20 tacos for a price of $40! We sat down and waited for our number to be called food, and didn't take that long to get our food which was fantastic! We made a round of one taco each and then our second round then the third round - That's when it happened! My son found a small roach on his taco!!! I highly believe it came from the rice simply because we like rice in the tacos. His taco opened up and that's when the small little thing that looked weird on his rice. Since the rice is orange and it was brown and sure enough when my husband and I inspected it was a small roach. We threw away our food soon after because we were so disgusted and they have the audacity to ask where was the rest and that it could've just landed and now on top of his taco!!! Really??? My husband proceeded to go problem and they said that they could no issue because there was no one to do it. They gave me the number of the owner or supervisor, not quite sure Who they gave me the number of. I called and I'm waiting for them to return my call because I am getting on the road to ATL.
