You will reach the little rail ride stop after a short but steep walk. It will drop you off at the point from where you must climb down and then a little up to reaching the viewing point. Absolutely beautiful views of the seas surrounding Busan, worth every step. Take your time to enjoy the walk, up & down.

This observation tower has a 190deg view from the rock wall to the sea and to the cliff. Overseeing the South Sea, we can see some ships anchored near the shore.

I recommend to visit when the weather is good and clear. During my visit, it was a little bit foggy but the view is still beautiful

It was very windy om the day we went. It was also packed with groups of tourists that budged their way to the viewpoint and hogged the railing but other than that I really enjoyed looking out into the sea. There's a cafe/restaurant on the upper level of the observatory deck, I didn't order anything but it seemed very barebones. There are also stairs to the left of the observatory that lead down to more viewpoints and another restaurant. Be prepared to run out of breath on the way back up.

One of the main thing we wanted to do in Busan was to visit the Taejongdae Observation Deck. We got up there with the small train (pricing adult 4000 KRW and kid 1500 KRW- Feb 2025) , which was more convenient since we had 2 kids. As you enter the observation deck/building, you will find a small cafe (we did not go there) and as you continue walking, you can see the ocean. It was a beautiful day and the view was amazing. To enjoy the view in a more cosy place and relax with our kids, we made our way to the first floor, where there is a Cafe and Bakery- Blue Bean Bakery. The wife and the kids really enjoy the place and the view. Great place to relax plus for conscious parents, the place also has toilets on the first floor.

Visited Oct. 1, 2023 - Nice place to see nature and overlooking the sea. Make sure to bring water. I was not ready for those stairs 😀. My kid enjoyed running up and down. My legs were sore the next day.

Took the Danubi Train from the entrance to this first stop. It was chilly due to the wind. Nice view of the sea and surrounding islands. The Statue of Mother and Children carries a sad note.

Really pretty scenery. You have to take the train up there or you could walk it but it is quite and very hilly! The train runs as a hop on, hop off service at 3-4 different locations and comes eveey half hour. The view are lovely of the observation deck. There was a stop at a temple but it wasn't that great. Make sure you come early, so you don't miss the last train down.
