The location of the hotel is great. It overlooks the Taal Volcano. Also, it is near the Museo Orlina. The room is comfortable.

The room is big, with a comfortable bed. The linens are clean and mildly scented too. The staff are friendly and accommodating. However, I hope that there are extra wall outlets for charging, or they should at least provide an extension since the room we booked only has two outlets (1 for the TV and 1 for the TV box). Also, having a hot water bath should be automatic, given the location of the hotel. We had to request several times, just for the heater to be turned on.

The room had a perfect view of Taal volcano and lake. The receptionist during the daytime is very accommodating and will go out of her way to please their hotel guests (Ms. Chanda). Be careful at 3:00 pm because it will be another receptionist. We wanted to take dinner at the hotel because it was raining. The receptionist said there is no way that we can order because it is raining and the restaurant beside them (which they also own) will not accept. Luckily another personnel offered to go to the restaurant and call the waiter! Yes, we were able to eat. They have toiletries like toilet paper, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. You should ask for soap and tell them how many. They only gave us 1 set. Don't order coffee as early as 6:00am because they will make all excuses. There is parking at the back.

My 3-day stay at Tagaytay Econo Hotel (now part of Red Doors) had highs and lows. The room, though outdated, offered a spacious bathroom and a patio with chairs. However, the outdated furnishings and lack of reliable internet were notable downsides, making it challenging to work. Breakfast, while not a buffet, was satisfactory. Improvements in room amenities, especially internet connectivity, could enhance the overall experience.

They have partnered with Reddorz so you get a cheaper rate. Their basic room is clean but the floors of Room H is dusty, they gave 2 mineral water, and 1 set of toiletries even if the room is for 2 persons. They have a balcony which lets you have place to smoke or just chill but its dark. The building itself is like a great big house since they have a common living room where you can connect to the wi-fi (besides the dining area and small lobby) but no wifi at our room, the decors at the lobby is full of dust as well especially the big porcelain jar. The veranda overlooking Taal Volcano is very nice and we even ate our breakfast at the small kubo. They have a restaurant and bar with a fantastic view that offers room service as well. I like their staff Icy as he is always helpful and smiling.

This place is cool. 18 rooms or cabins as they are referred to. The whole hotel has been carefully conceptulised using green or reclaimed materials. The welcome from the front desk was exceptional. The cabins were small but spotlessly clean. Private WC and plenty of hot water. The hotel is centrally located for all the main sites and restaurant of this area.

had a last minute booking with this hotel and we had a good experience. the receptionist took some time to look for my booking but when i helped him with some checking, we were allowed to check-in. room is good and big. bathroom is huge as well. the hotel though is quite old already but has a homey feel. breakfast is so-so. they have a good location with a view of taal volcano.

Affordable, Comfy and Nice Overlooking of Taal Volcano. The name fits the price. You need to transfer your room near the reception so that wifi is accessible.
