Yelp
After month over month of restrictions and worries, Yet it's the weekend, We deserve all the raves! YayGrilled squid and Bulalo for Luuuunnch-ie! Every bite has all the tangs. The grilled squid is perfect and the beef bulalo was so tender while the meat holds tight to the bone. But when you take a bite, it comes clean from the bone, which is a good thing but I didn't expect that, tbh. And I was happy. Thank you @dinersbulaloofficial for a well-deserved lunch. A 2 to all the chefs behind this perfection. This place is great! Al-fresco wise, the atmosphere is chill and cool and the staffs were friendly. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant in Tagaytay. Their service is unmatched. - - - #YourFoodtographer #FoodGrammerPh #ChewManila #ChibogTayoPh #FilipinoFood #FoodPorn #EatsASmallWorld #EatPilipinas #Food #Foodaholic #FoodForFoodies #FoodiesInternationalChat #FilipinoStyle #FilipinoBreakfastClub #FoodBlogger #FoodBlogFeed #FoodEnthusiast #FoodInfluencerPh #HomeCooking #HomeMade #KitchenHacks #PagkaingPinoy #PanlasangPinoy #PinoyBreakfast #PinoyFoodie #TaraSaSouth #WhatToEatPh #WhatsForBrunch

Yelp
My uncle took us on a road trip to Tagaytay City and along the way we saw a bunch of restaurants that offer "bulalo". Bulalo is a traditional Filipino beef shank soup that is popular in this part of the country. I personally chose Diner's Bulalo because they claim to have the best soup in Tagaytay and their dining area offers guests a view of the Taal Volcano (famed as the smallest active volcano in the world). Plus dining at a restaurant overlooking an active volcano has been a pattern for me ever since I was introduced to an Indonesian buffet in Bali that overlooked Mt. Batur. I wanted to have the same experience in The Philippines. Anyway, service here was great! The restaurant got packed fast with locals and foreign tourists so we were lucky enough to get seats with the view! WE ORDERED -------------------- - Beef Bulalo - Their specialty is a must! The beef was tender and they also offer free broth refills. Perfect soup during our windy day adventure in Tagaytay! For dipping I prefer fish sauce with calamansi and a bit of chili for a kick! - Crispy Pata - Crunchy, but not a big fan because some parts were lightly burnt. - Fried Chicken - light batter, but still crunchy and good. - Grilled Stuffed Squid - Simple squid dish stuffed with onions, tomatoes, and herbs. It's marinated with light soy sauce and it's usually dipped in spicy soy sauce with calamansi. Overall, the bulalo did not disappoint! This is a perfect restaurant for out of towners!

Yelp
Not the most inviting place I've eaten at in Tagaytay. Tablecloths would go a long way to making this place nicer to visit. I ordered the adobo/longanissa breakfast. Everything on my plate was cold: the chicken leg, the sausage, the garlic rice, the egg. The longannisa was loaded with sugar. It tasted more like candy than sausage. The chicken leg was too salty to eat. The sliced tomatoes were completely green and flavorless. The only thing edible on my plate was the rice. It was served with a small bowl of overly-salty broth with a lonely piece of cabbage floating in it. I'm guessing this was their famous bulalo. But what do you expect for 180 pesos?

Yelp
service is poor. I asked for condiments and told they will comeback. They never came back
