Restaurante Tágide

Restaurante Tágide is one of my favorite spots in Lisbon. The views over the city and the Tagus River are beautiful, especially at sunset, and the wine bar gives the space a refined but relaxed feel. The food is well-executed and thoughtfully presented, making the experience even better. Add in the stunning azulejo tiles throughout the restaurant, and it’s a place that feels both elegant and distinctly Portuguese. Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tágide Restaurant. The hostess, Daniele, was a very kind person and was very attentive during my stay there. The food was wonderful as well as the wine served. Can’t wait to return there.

We were out for a walk and came across Tagide at lunch. We were seated at a lovely table with an amazing view. The decor and ambiance was warm and welcoming. We ordered a glass of wine and were offered a selection from the bread plate. We started with a tomato soup that was divine. And a vegetarian dish that was eaten and gone. Our choice for dessert was a sweet dish and a fruit salad. The food was excellent. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Best food experience in Lisbon if you're willing to spend a little more than average. We did the food tasting which was a four course meal, and the wine tasting that compliments it for about ~ 100 Euros each and it was absolutely worth it. Pretty easy to see why it is on the Michelin list. The waiters were some of the nicest and knowledgeable I've had. Everything from the butter to the Iberian steak to having a small seat offered for our bag/purse and the plating and cutlery were all perfect. The view over the square and the ministry buildings was just spectacular. As for the food, I was not the biggest fan of the first starter (fish cake with macha tea pallet cleanser?) but after that it just got better and better.

Beautiful restaurant with lovely views. It was the week of Christmas and to see the all the city lights and decorations made it even more special. We opted for the tasting menu and the bursts of flavor were so present in all the dishes. Loved every course. Really nice Olive oil served with rustic breads. Sorry, I am missing photos from a few of the courses.

The best think about this place is the view and beautiful ambiance. Food was mediocre. I had pork and couldn’t even finish eating. My husband had the lamb and he liked it more but nothing out of extraordinary. Couvert is a joke. You have to pick ONE PIECE of bread out of a tray with 2 very small balls of butter. Even the mouse of chocolate for dessert was not good. Restaurant was completely empty (just us and another table of 4). I hope they fix the food because the building is pretty special.

Had the set lunch. The food was simple but tasty and well presented. It was not copious, though. The Restaurante Tangide branded white and red wines were excellent. First rate atmosphere as well as excellent service. We were sitting next to the balcony with a great view.
