I happened to cut across Taichung Park from Guide hotel to Yizhong Street. Was impressed by this beautiful & clean park in Taichung bustling city area. A nice place to have an evening stroll or take some scenic photos. There was also a performer playing saxophone when I was here. Great ambience to chill & relax with the cool evening beeeze.

It is a beautiful place to relax, in the early morning it is good, cool weather , The locals are performing their exercise, plenty of life in the park. Beautiful trees and pieces of nature in the busy city of taichung, The park dates back from 1903 and got Japanese influence. Awesome place and kept clean and serene.

Free and beautiful park here. Many people picnic and rest here. While there is some live in the evening, nearby the night market. So, worth to walk around to explore here.

One of the most beautiful parks in Taichung, it is quite spacious with a lake in the center and various facilities such as restrooms and a playground. There is also a bridge 👍🏻
There are quite a lot of animals here, such as birds, squirrels, and fish 🐹🐦🪿🐶🐱🐟
It is very child-friendly and accessible for people in wheelchairs.
One of the recreational spots I highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A great park in the heart of the city, within walking distance from Taichung Main Train Station. There are various walkways, making it enjoyable to roam freely among the trees, near the lake, among rest areas and numerous artworks. It feels full of hidden spots and shady areas to relax or hide. You can also easily spot squirrels, which kids will love. The park has clean toilets, and it's also a pleasant place for pet owners to take a walk.

Safe green haven in the frenzy city. Lovely place to chill and relax, possibly tasting some snacks, delicious street food / fried chicken whatever, Taichung has wide choice. Just sit in the shade, feed the birds, look the squirrels, enjoy the lake, read a book, to recover your mood

After we checked into a nearby hotel and before our dinner, we took a stroll here in the park. It was a weekend and there was an activity going on in the park for kids, it was unusual busy. The park was beautiful.

Yelp
The oldest park in Taichung, which was built when Taiwan was under Japanese rule. It's a city historical site. There is an arch bridge, artificial lake, and a pavilion. Honestly, the park was a bit underwhelming. The main highlight was watching a man feed the numerous squirrels.

Yelp
Beautiful and historic park located in the middle of the city. A century ago this area was wetlands, and its great that the government took steps then to preserve this slice of nature for generations to come.
Today you can walk, paddle a small boat, or sometimes catch a market happening. It's quite beautiful in the evenings when it's all lit up, but on some Summer days it can be quite hot and there is limited shade areas. Not much to see unless you want to look at pigeons and trees (although the trees are all marked with descriptions).
