Taitung Tourism Night Market

Ok lah I guess no other comparison! This takes the name of taitung city so gotta give it a walk. First greeted with Patrick Food stalls that has a great red seating. With 4 papers kiap together for ordering, means you can order from 4 different stalls under the same name. For oyster and smelly tofu u need to order one side whereas the hot plate and chicken rice u need to order at where it is. Brooo, the hot plate in winter is defo good. Just order one of the meat it’ll come with good yellow spaghetti looking noodles. It’s super hot and satisfying. Beef was chewy and nice too! You will see all the family sitting here before embarking their night market. Interesting layout. Their QQ ball is not bad too… and guava. Ppl are friendly here. One small street down only. Good place to experience local culture. Only open for three days and then Si Wei is on sundays!

The food and choices of games were okay. Taiwan has so many good night markets and so this one doesn't quite stand out. I loved the Indigenous Taiwan people and their languages on the shops. Great street musicians abound when we visited. Definitely worth a drop in.

Well, if we are talking about night markets this is quite a small one compared with other night markets in Taiwan. The stalls are not too many as well, hence the choices are very limited too But there are many signatures old stall there like the stinky taufu etc Overall it is not bad.

Fun time with a lot of different things to eat.

Only available on Friday & Saturday. Compared to Raohe night market, you can said it is smaller in scale. However, it has most of the food variety which you normally find in night market. And it seemed Taitung folks really like Western food on grill a lot and it has long queue.

Honestly its a great nightmarket. Much much better than Hualien’s. Locals are happy. Friendly. Patient. Good vibe. Good food. Beautiful people.

This fried rice noodles stall is very clean and hygienic looking. And Stinky Tofu stall that's very crispy. A good night market as there are plenty of seats to eat-in. There are also rubbish bins provided along the market, in every stall and wash basins in some stalls. 👍🏼

I liked this market more than the one in Hualien. I feel they have more variety of food (or maybe they just have more food that's to my liking 🤷‍♀️). There's outdoor seatings available, though they might be specific to certain stalls. Lots of games, the feeling is quite festive.
