Solo traveler Good hostel, good commun areas, I met great people. Really clean. The outside areas are also great There is a sport court behind the hostel and they have balloons that we can use. This was really cool ! Beds were not really confortable though.

The room is comfortable and clean, with a nice bed and powerful heater. However, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear conversations from the next room and the common areas. Additionally, the water pressure and temperature are unstable. I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you’re looking for budget accommodation and can tolerate the noise, it might work for you.

Phenomenal independent accomodation that we were lucky to stay in last month. Twin room was clean and cosy, shared spaces were excellent and the animals on site were cute. Shared bathroom facilities also clean. Plenty of parking nearby and overall atmosphere was great, thank you.

I visited during the winter. The room was very clean and the location wasn’t bad. However, the room was cold all day. Although there was a heater, it was almost useless and had no real effect.The WiFi worked fine in the kitchen, but it barely worked at all in the room.One of the staff members had a bad attitude.Also, there were no toiletries like shampoo in the shower room, so be aware of that.The kitchen also seemed to have a limited selection of cooking utensils.For the quality provided, I felt that the price was far too high.

Lovely location, just a few minutes walk to town. Close by restaurants and shops. Easy check-in process, and the place is clean. It's slightly cold though, one of the hot showers is not hot enough. Otherwise, we had a great time staying here. Tekapo is lovely in the winter!

Great stay! Very close to town. The animals are great. Common areas super cosy. We had a big snow dump during our stay and staff were fantastic and helped all guests dig cars out. Definitely will stay again!

Very clean and tidy. Self serving check in process (in the small hut by their main entrance). Kitchen and common area in the building on your left. It would be better if there are signs outside the huts/houses about where the facilities are, especially for guesses arriving late.

A short walk to the main town and has ample parking on the street. Check in and out were quick and easy. The room and bathroom itself was clean and comfortable. Minor note was that the sound insulation between the rooms are not as superb, so you could hear faint voices from the other room.
