Taino Accomodation bungalow

We stayed in Taino Accommodation during our diving trip in Bayahibe and we definitely recommend it as an inexpensive alternative to all inclusives around. The rooms are big but very clean, each being a separate bungalow. The bathroom is clean as well and there's cleaning service. The owners Enrico and staff members are very friendly and flexible - we extended our stay for a couple of days in a row without any problem. The accommodation is in the heart of the town, very close to the seaside, supermarket and restaurants. The only minus I can think of was loud music till late evening hours coming from a nearby bar, but it seems to me that's a common disadvantage shared by majority of in-town places in DR.

The hotel/apartment building is located in the very center of Bayahibe above the only supermarket in this village. The owner Enrico spoke a little English but enough to get a proper conversation. He was really helpful- the was our cambio, he helped us to find a boat for all our trips (and the price was 3 times lower than the one offered from local touristic companies). The apartment we stayed in was for two people (there was a sofa which can served as a bed for two, but I do not think that it was comfortable). There kitchen was equipped with gas cooking and a laundry (which we used almost every day- it is really convenient). There were two big ventilators on the ceiling and and an air-conditioner in the bedroom. Two of our friends stayed in a room and it was really vast and with modern furniture.||The only bank in the village is two minutes away from the hotel. There are only two cash machines- one is on the entrance of the supermarket and the other one is on the bank. You can get to all the restaurants in the city in less than 5 minutes. The place is really wonderful- definitely worth visit (suitable for families, couples and group of friends).

Our apartment had a lot of space, was cleaned every day including fresh towels. Air-condition was working well and the manager was very kind. He even waited for us with late check-in after midnight because of our flight delay. This accomodation offers great value for money and has a useful location. (Supermarker on ground floor, taxis right in front of it, or guagua station 3 mins walking.) You won't like the rooster and dog sounds in the morning :) but except that sleep quality is very good.

I can't say enough good things about this property! We stayed here from Dec. 19th 2013 thru Jan 5th 2014. Large and spacious. Stunning tile. Nice full sized kitchen, gas cooking and laundry right in the apartment. All public areas are cleaned every couple of days and fresh linen brought around regularly too. Security cameras, strong doors and locks. Cable television in multiple languages. Each apartment has A/C if you need it. The manager lives on the property and is easy to contact. Medium sized store just below on the first floor with everything you are going to need for an extended stay at very reasonable prices. Clothes lines on the roof and the most amazing view in the village. The building is in the heart of everything and only a minute walk down to the water, bank and restaurants.You will feel at home the instant you meet Enrico. We will always remember him with fondness. We miss the wonderful people of Bayahibe everyday. I will stay here again when we go back. Go while it is still a small village before it is finished being developed into a tourist trap.

We spent 5 nights in Taino and we definitely recommend it. Very good position, two minutes walking to anyplace (restaurants, beach, markets). Very large and confortable room, cleaned every day, with a/c and balcony. The owner is very professional (as the receptionist too) and provide all the info and help you can need.Good price performance.

We got a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and balcony. Everything was great, safe. Convenience store is right underneathc as well as a Classic local dominican pub

I got more than I expected, I felt comfortable and secured all the time, just what anybody needs to spend sometime in Bayahibe. We goy a two bedroom apartment with very spacious rooms and balcony; everything fully equiped.

We stayed in the bungalows next to hotel Bayahibe. (Not the one on the pictures) Clean bathroom, good shower, comfy beds! Just perfect Good deal for that price!!!
