"View from the Top of the World Soaring more than 1,600 feet into the air, Taipei 101 is one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world and probably Taipei’s most iconic site. For a small fee, visitors can spend time on the observation deck—a large space that offers a 360-degree view of Taipei. From here, you can get a better understanding of the city and how it is organized. For that reason Taipei 101 is the best place to start your sightseeing adventures. There are also a number of great restaurants in Taipei 101 along with shops and entertainment options; you can plan at least half a day of experiences at this one site."

This mall is one of the most beautiful mall in ever saw in my life. The building looks very high quality and compared to other malls this mall is not boring at all. It has many levels, lots of escalators and balconies and you video record from everywhere. On level 3F has some good cafes and you will find all luxurious brand there. In basement is the food court and also a big super market with souvenirs. You should definitely spend some time here before you leave.

Must visit building! It’s the symbol of Taipei. At the observation platform 89, possible to have coffee break, get some nice survivors etc. it’s also possible to walk the stairs to get 91st platform which outdoor area to view the city;) don’t forget to check the Damper which to stabilize the Taipei101;)

Of course we couldn’t miss Taipei 101 — the iconic shopping centre with luxury vibes and stunning views. We didn’t go up to the observatory, but we definitely didn’t skip the TikTok escalator trend haha (iykyk). It’s a cool spot to window shop, chill, and just soak in the city vibes. Even if you're not into shopping, it's worth the visit for the aesthetic alone!

Google
Lots of food choices here. It really felt like a feast for the eyes and the stomach. You could tell it caters to all kinds of people, from locals to tourists, and a mix of price ranges too. As you go up the floors, it gets quieter and more peaceful, which was a nice surprise. The place was cool, clean, and clearly well maintained.

Taipei 101 is an iconic symbol of Taiwan. Inside, you’ll find a range of luxury shops selling high-end branded goods. The food court in the basement also offers a wide variety of dining options. I tried a noodle dish that was both delicious and authentically flavored. The entire environment is clean and well-maintained, making it a great place to visit for both shopping and dining

Google
Taipei's famous landmarks. We did not go up to the observation deck, as the visibility was not very good when we were there. The design was highly praised. We were thinking of grabbing some quick bites in the basement, it was too busy and crowded.

Google
High end shopping mall at the base of Taipei 101. The mall comprises of many stories and has many Luxury Brands stores. The mall is adjacent to other Malls and all are within walking distance of each other. This is a famous landmark and a hot tourist spot. You can get pictures of the Taipei 101 from the base at the front entrance

Google
Designed by architect C.Y. Lee and his firm C.Y. Lee & Partners, Taipei 101 stood as the tallest building in the world from 2004 to 2010. More than just a skyscraper, it’s a symbol of Taiwanese pride — its design inspired by bamboo, a plant that represents resilience, growth, and strength. Its eight stacked segments reflect the lucky number 8 in Chinese culture, while a massive tuned mass damper keeps it stable through typhoons and earthquakes. Taipei 101 blends ancient symbolism with futuristic engineering — and from this spot in the hills, it feels like it’s rising from the jungle to touch the sky.

Yelp
Exquisite shopping, wonderful food court, observatory, great area around it with historic temples and good hotels. A must-see in Taipei. Make sure you pick up Sunny Hill pineapple cakes, the best, they have a stand right next to the *original* Din Tai Fung in Taipei 101.

Yelp
This mall is huge and has various levels of shopping. The other aspect is the fantastic selection of food in the food court. Which price is reasonable. At every store I visited, the staff was very welcoming.

Yelp
We came here to walk around the mall and have lunch in the food court, it was incredible. The mall is simply gorgeous with very high-end stores, selling clothes, computers, and jewelry. The food court is on the bottom level and just seems to go on forever. We found something interesting for lunch. Do not go on a Saturday because there is absolutely no seating!
google avatar

Yelp
The mall is connected to the Taipei 101 tower. Super fancy, expensive shops like Coach, Boss, Gucci, and so on. There's a beautiful centerpiece component of the mall where you can take photos in a "enchanted forest" landscape. Clean and modern feel.

Yelp
Love the shopping area at Taipei 101. Busy and expansive food court, and a nice looking grocery store in the 1st underground level. Main goal here was to get several bars of local bean-to-bar chocolate from award winning Fu Wan Chocolate. Fu Wan has won a huge amount of medals at the International Chocolate Awards, the best chocolate award designation in the world. Then we went to TWG store on this level and got their best tea, Grand Wedding, in the form of tea bags. Discovered the neighboring Sunny Hills store and checked out their pineapple cake and apple cake. Sunny Hills pineapple cake is one of the best around, along with Bayeye (8yaya website) in rural Yunlin Country which uniquely offers some very interesting variations on the crust like matcha, earl grey, rose, and charcoal bamboo flavors. The other floors have lots of high end shopping, great environment with tall ceilings. Recommend checking out the Simple Kaffa (88th floor) which has a great view without paying a lot for a special sky view; you'll need to ask for special directions as it wasn't the easiest to find....need to transfer at a sky lobby level.

Yelp
Very impressive from the outside as well as the inside. A must see while here. There is an observation deck at top floor (fee) that you can view inside and the downstairs has many options for food from Mac Donald's to traditional food choices .. ample seating and clean with high end shopping thru out the several floors of shopping. Every time I come here I drop in. It is close to convention center in the main part of Taipei a must see!

Yelp
This review is for their food court. The mall itself just has all the luxury items really rich people like to waste their money on. The food court though is really great and has fantastic options at fairly reasonable prices. The food court itself is massive and has a really large amount of seating. That being said, getting a seat here is really tough since it's always full. People don't linger but it's still a challenge at all times of the day. The food selection here though is pretty good. You get all types of Taiwanese (turkey rice, iron skillet steak, katsu, pho, McDonald's, bubble tea, cream puffs - the choices are pretty staggering). If you're staying in the Grand Hyatt, this place is a great option if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg at the buffets or are afraid to venture out locally (most of the establishments here speak some English). Average prices per meal were about 8-10 bucks a meal (other than McDonald's which is comparable to what we pay here in the US.

Yelp
Shopping galore at Taipei 101 building. They have a good size food court, not the types of food found at the malls back home in the states either. Many high end restaurants with outstanding cuisines. My friend and I had some fantastic soups during lunch. Warm comfort food that won't weigh you down, too much. We opted for Pho soup after way too much walking on many floors of the mall. The mall can be overwhelming, replenish your energy for more hoofing at their food court.

Yelp
So Taipei 101 is pretty famous. Especially the mall attached to it. Taipei 101 is the tallest building in Taipei. This also means that the mall attached to it is a tourist attraction as well. This mall isn't very busy. People mostly come here to eat. The most busiest floor is actually the basement where all the restaurants and food are located. There are lots of famous restaurants here like Kam's Roast and Din Tai Fung. Yes we came to this mall to eat at Din Tai Fung. No I didn't end up buying anything from this mall. Most of the stores are high-end brands that I can't see myself paying. I am talking about Prada, Gucci, LV and etc. The mall is definitely pretty nice and very well kept. Highly maintained. The mall humidity was controlled when we were there. So it was nice, airy and cool inside. Great place to be to avoid the sun or rain. I really liked the layout of this mall. As a tourist coming here once is enough. But of course I can make another trip out to the basement of this mall again for the food. None of the clothing / fashion stores here tickle my fancy.

Yelp
A very fancy and high end shopping mall that is in the lower levels of the Taipei 101 tower. You'll find all the famous brands here including Chanel, Gucci, Cartier, Dior, Burberry, Bang & Olufsen and the like. Big money! It's interesting that when I was here, the shops did not open until 11:00 AM even though the rest mall is actually open for walking through. Of course, world famous Din Tai Fung is here too even though I could not find it on my first trip. (It's located near the MRT station, exit 4!) Huge food court with many options that range from McDonald's (which I did not visit) to outlets for ramen, sushi and the like. You can definitely go crazy with the delicious foods. The Jason's Market is a full sized grocery store with meat, grocery, produce and more, including many grab-and-go foods and cold drinks.

Yelp
The Taipei 101 Mall is beautiful and it's huge! It's home to the famous Din Tai Fung (not the original). It also houses a very trendy food court, and it was also once the tallest building in the world with 91 floors. The structure itself is majestic. The building is located at the midpoint of Taipei. Believe me, it can be spotted pretty much anywhere you go on the streets if it's obstructed by another tall building in front of you. Shopping is plentiful here with food, souvenirs, clothing stores, along with many upscale boutiques. It's not the cheapest place to shop, but if you got, flaunt it. The mall attracts many people throughout the day who may come to shop, eat, or go up to the 91st floor observatory. The observatory is awesome. There's a complete view of the whole city when you're up there. Thick glass casings surrounds the walls with a 360° view. Very magnificent! The elevator from the ground level going up to the top takes approximately 40 seconds. Very fast going up and down. The outside deck area has telescopes you may use (at a cost) to peak into the city. Be sure to bring a jacket, because the temperature drastically changes on top. There is more shopping inside the 91st floor. Mostly souvenirs and pineapple cakes that Taiwan is known for are sold there. The 101 building also has a huge attenna built on top of the building to track weather. A very historical landmark it has become. There is also a museum in the floor just below the 91st floor. It houses rare artifacts and jewelry along with ancient sea fossils. Very interesting, and an awesome learning opportunity of Taiwan's history. Everybody is there encountered was friendly. It seems like they all love their jobs which gives a positive vibe feeling. Security wasn't strict, unlike our homeland. No TSA checks, no metal detectors, no alarms. Just feel free to wander around, but be respectful.

Yelp
Nice hotel in centralize location. Elevators are a bit on the slow side but else everything else is good. The included breakfast is no joke... they got some serious good stuff here. It does get packed during breakfast so seating may be hard. But, if you walk up one floor there's additional seating in a quieter environment. As expected the rooms are a bit cramped but if you plan to just sleep you'll be fine

Yelp
Rude 101 personnel at B1 food court. I was looking for bubble tea in the food court around 3:30 pm, Thursday, July 5, 2023. Met a 101 personnel in their dark grey uniform standing between Ding Tai Fung and Hsin Tung Yang. I politely asked him if there were bubble tea places in the food court, he just responded a single word "no", in an irritated and unfriendly manner. Later, I found out there are bubble tea places in the food court. This was the first time that I visited Taipei 101 food court and my experience is unpleasant and disappointing.

Yelp
Very stylish and modern shopping mall, spacious and clean, also packed with people and tourists, have to be patient with the crowd.
google avatar

Jerry E.

Yelp
Not much changed in this outstanding shopping mall for luxurious goods, except the crowd, which was much smaller than a year ago; its interior with countless shops still looked new, not aged. In addition, a few eateries also changed, confirming the survival of the fittest theory in the business world. One additional note. This fine watch paradise offers many world famous watches, with unfamiliar names for most ordinaryJoe's, at unheard & flabbergasting prices.
google avatar

Yelp
Mega touristy. Actually feels like being part of China sometimes with all the mainland tourists (probably closer to HK because of the Falun Dafa adverts). But this is the place to go for high end shopping stores, money changers (note that the money changers in Taiwan have some weird rule that they close after 3pm), and also an Apple Store too.
google avatar

Yelp
I was completely unimpressed with the Taipei 101 mall. It's a super high end luxury mall with brands like Patek Phillipe, Bulgari, Dior, Fendi, etc. I don't know about you, but I didn't come to Taipei to get high fashion clothes that I can get in any city, I came to see cultural sights and try local foods. Taipei 101 smacks of irrational exuberance and pointless consumerism. Any one of the nearby malls (Att4fun, Shin Kong) are better. I guess this mall is for oil tycoons who stay at the Grand Hyatt and don't want to venture out into Taipei proper? Caveats: I stayed at the Grand Hyatt and the Taipei 101 is extremely convienent, because they have an elevated walkway that goes directly from the hotel grounds into the mall. There are subway stations right at the mall. The food court at the mall has a huge variety of fast food restaurants (and an overpriced supermarket). The observation tower is very good.
google avatar

Lily F.

Yelp
Personal Observation: The fancier the mall, the more you'll see empty space and white walls between stores and items. A regular mall has stores right next to each other but enough room for customers to roam around in. A night market stall will be so crowded that there will be multiple items all stacked up on each other taking up every available space and just enough room to walk in and walk out. This ridiculously expensive and fancy mall has 5 floors and only like 10 stores it seemed like and all of which Lily F. cannot afford. Things I liked: The mall itself is gorgeous with ultra clean bathrooms. And even though the stores are all high end, it's still fun to slowly walk around in them while dreaming that one day you'll hit that Mega Million. A quick glance at the food court and I noticed that the price was pretty normal. Beef noodles was about $7 US. Finally, the very bottom floor had a full size grocery store. Produce, meats, seafood, deli and sushi section, bakery and everything else you would expect to find at a store, including uncommon items like tea and hot sauces that you won't find at every street corner. Things I did not like: It wasn't even the weekend yet and it was uber crowded on the first floor with literally hundreds of people and tour groups making their way to the 101 elevator and observation deck. So many people.
google avatar

Yelp
Touristy and pricey. Mainland China tourists everywhere. However, the Taipei 101 Mall houses all the famous and traditional Taiwanese wares, from stinky tofu to pineapple cakes and tea. The food court displays different types of worldwide cuisines. The mall itself is filled with the brand name designer labels that I can't even think to afford. There is a direct entrance to the Taipei 101 tower "ride." But free Wifi, can't complain! It's a beautiful mall, for sure, which caters to the tourists from all over the world. Not the best location for the affordable deals I'm used to finding in Taiwan.

Yelp
During 8 days round-island Taiwan trip, we returned to Taipei city finally. As a tourist, Taipei 101 Mall is must visit sight-seeing attraction. It's an excellent landmark in Taipei. The mall is spacious, clean and elegant inside. You will find most of luxury brands shop in this mall. Besides shopping, observatory deck and food court would be another option to check it out. I rarely eat at food court but I would high recommend this food court to North American! I found the food pretty cheap and tasty! I wish we have such quality food court in Vancouver.

Yelp
Holy moly! So many shops! Food Court: We ended up walking two rounds... bought stuff from a stand and ended going to a ramen sit down area. - Bought: Eggs and Pig Ears. $150 TWD ~$5.02 USD - Ordered: Ramen with Fried Chicken and Cha Siu with Rice. $396nt ~ $12.77 USD. Store: T-Star SIM Card for 10 days - $300TWD ~ $9.64 USD Tina's Travels and Tabloid - Near / Next to Taipei 101 Building - Food court is ridiculously big (for me any way) so many options! - Located in the basement (B1) food court of the mall. - Food isn't bad, but if you're looking for a seat the restaurants will serve you here with a charge of 10% service fee. - I was able to find a phone store in here to get a SIM card as well! Super cheap as well. Note: Left to HK then came back and the SIM card still worked! - High end and fancy mall for those who want to be the trendiest of them all.
google avatar

Ria J.

Yelp
Must visit for tourists for the view and the food! There is so much to do here and the food court area is a great lunch spot. Having mango beer at the top of the tower looking out over the city was one of my favorite memories of this trip!
google avatar

Krissy K.

Yelp
This mall is very speculator. I love the design and architecture of it. The inside is filled with high end stores. I would just walk around to burn some calories. I didn't get a chance to explore the food court today, but I remember there are a lot of tasty choices including Din Tai Fung. Beware of the long wait though for this restaurant. I also didn't get a chance to go to the observatory, but the lines were long on a Friday evening.
google avatar

Yelp
This place resembles more like the malls in the United States. I found it to be quite nice and clean and has lots of high quality stores.

Yelp
Taipei 101 mall is a huge shopping complex attached at the base of the famous Taipei 101 tower. It consists of some high end shopping a Jason's food mart, Din Tai Fung and an out of this world food court. As others have mentioned the food court should have its own review. The food court is gargantuan, has selection that is out of this world and you could spend a week there sampling and eating many of the delicious amazing looking food. The mall is like many other malls but this one is clean, brightly lit and full of haute couture shopping. There is free WIFI available. It's very spotty at best. Probably because of thee hordes of people trying to use it. We browsed around and used the restrooms which were clean but you could notice high traffic volume using them. We didn't feel the need to go to the top of the Taipei 101 building but the food court is highly recommended to stop in and I'd recommend one who enjoys shopping to make Taipei 101 at the top of their priority list when visiting Taipei.
google avatar

Yelp
Taipei 101 Mall is one of the luxurious malls in Taipei. You don't have to be rich to drop by and certainly not a need to purchase any items. The ambiance of this mall is great and certainly is a nice place for a walk and if you go up to the 5th floor, it connects to the lift which takes you up near the top of Taipei 101. Free Wifi is available so if you are using a limited data plan or don't have one, you can enjoy the comfort at one of the benches and enjoy the ambience, air con and connect to the internet world. I have been here a few times and notice a few improvements to the mall. I often hang out at the Basement 1 food court and Din Tai Fung Restaurant to enjoy my meals whenever I am there, the price is expectedly more expensive than other places but it's still reasonable to me. So you should check that out and of course it's connected to the Taipei 101 Metro station make it more convenient for everyone. Overall, I find this a nice place to hang out if not shopping, but for food.

Yelp
The Taipei 101 Mall is one of Taipei's luxury shopping destinations. The vast majority of their shops are dedicated to high-end brands (Prada, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., etc, etc). There are a few mid-range shops as well, such as Zara, but everything here is towards the luxury side. Even the food court is decked out with chandeliers (made of wine glasses, which I admit is pretty cool), and the World Gym location is the luxury version of an already very commercial fitness chain. The food court on B1 is well equipped with some nice restaurants (including Baskin Robbins, which is pretty freakin' awesome) and the largest Jason's Market Place I know of in Taipei. There's also a Ding Tai Fung, and several newish cafes and restaurants I haven't sampled yet, but would like to. The fourth floor also has a few nice cafes set into a faux-courtyard space, and tucked away from it all is one of the largest English-language bookstores in Taipei, if not the largest: Page One. For the traveler, however, I would recommend NOT buying from the designer stores in Taipei 101 Mall. Most name-brand goods are far more expensive in Taiwan than they are abroad, and unless you absolutely NEED that Gucci belt TONIGHT, wait until you get home. Most things at this mall are ridiculously overpriced, but a lot of fun to browse.
google avatar

Shauna S.

Yelp
I love this mall just for the food court! Why can't we have one of these in the states? Pretty much any type of Asian food is there and I had to try the Michelin one star restaurant.....the chicken and rice although simple dish but meat was delish! I would say if you have a few hours to kill this is great place to stay out of the heat or rain. Happy shopping!

Yelp
We came to visit Taipei 101 (台北101) several times. Never felt tired of it. There are hundreds of stores, shops, restaurants and clubs, including luxurious Chanel, Gucci, Coach, Tiffany & Co., POLO-Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Rolex, Prada, etc. We were all overwhelmed by the magnificent view of the mall and building. With a limited time span, we can only enjoy a few of them but appreciated it deeply. This time we specifically want to delve ourselves into Din Tai Fung for lunch. Taipei 101 is a landmark supertall skyscraper in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building was the world's tallest in 2004 until the opening of Burj Khalifa in Dubai in 2010. However, it remains as the tallest and largest green building in the world. Construction of Taipei 101 started in 1999 and finished in five years. Fireworks launched from Taipei 101 featured prominently in almost every New Year's Eve. We watched it on TV every year; don't have the appetite to be there in person.

Yelp
Fancy luxury shopping mall, with world class boutiques, restaurant, high-end restaurants, foodcourt and cinema. There's also an entire area for Taiwanese handcrafts, mixed products and souvenirs

Yelp
There really should be a food court review section for Taipei 101 Mall because it takes up one huge basement floor at the bottom of the mall but whatever! Their sign there says Taipei 101 Mall so I won't quibble. The good thing is you can just walk in the building from the street and go directly downstairs without dealing with going through the many leveled upper mall floors. I came here a few years ago and had my first Mos Burger at this location, the Japanese fast burger chain. Honestly there is nothing special about a Mos Burger, in fact it's a bit weird as they insert a giant slice of tomato, which dwarfs the burger at about 1.5 times it's size. On it is their ketchup sauce which is reminiscent of a combo of ketchup mixed with sweet relish with added chopped onions sprinkled in to it and that's it. Don't go looking for lettuce. http://www.mosburger.com.sg/mos_menu.php It's a sweetly bland burger where you barely taste the beef. But there are vast choices here, from typical Taiwanese concoctions - oyster omelet - to any variety of dishes under the sun. Taiwan / Taipei is one of the food meccas of the planet and you get a nice look at some options here in a clean, well lighted place. This food court is a must stop if you are visiting Taipei 101. And visit you must.
google avatar

Wilson L.

Yelp
Cool mall with a great view at the observatory. But it's quite confusing as most entrances are locked because the mall itself opens at 11. But the observatory opens at 9. There's only one door unlocked in the entire mall but they open up all the sky decks and bridges at 6am to get from other streets to the Taipei101 but then those doors are all locked. What's the point of opening up those bridges and overpasses of where it leads to is locked?
google avatar

Nat G.

Yelp
Ridiculously and overwhelmingly crowded on the weekends. Have a few hard drinks before coming here or you might suffer an anxiety or panic attack.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
An awesome landmark in Taipei that is worth visiting if you have the time or it is raining! Inside there are a bundle of shopping opportunities, a food store, coffee shops, and restaurants to relax and enjoy inside here. The area itself is cool to walk around as well on a nice day, and there really is a ton to do and see including people watch. Inside Taipei 101 there is an international food store, carrying lots of different brands to satisfy anyone's desire for food!
google avatar

Yelp
Conveniently located by a MRT station, this mall boasts many shops including some high end shopping such as Louis Vuitton. I believe most people are gravitated towards going to Taipei 101 (entrance for individuals on the 5th floor), but since you are here, might as well go shopping, right? I think the best part about this mall is the food court. Not only does it have Din Tai Fung for their juicy pork dumpling, it has a great assortment of Taiwanese food at amazing prices. It was difficult to find seating, but it was worth the wait.
google avatar

Dianna C.

Yelp
There's free WiFi in here! It's a good place to walk around and rest too. There are benches scattered all over the mall. They also have some pretty clean bathrooms, so if you're in the area check it out! PS This mall is aimed at the wealth. The stores here are mostly high end.

Yelp
I've been to this shopping mall sine 2004, and I've seen a gradual improvements throughout the opening of the observation deck and increase in number of foreign tourist. I've known this building as the tallest building in the world during my entire childhood. Sadly this building has been surpassed by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and is now the 5th tallest in the world. On the bright side, a new metro line has recently opened and this is now even more convenient if you don't want to drive to this place. There's a huge selections of food court places to eat at the basement level of this shopping mall. If you want to get to the observation deck entrance, just get to at least the 4th level since it's located at the 5th level. If you got hours to spare, try to buy a ticket to the 88th floor observation deck, even the CNN has recommended this attraction to visit. But be aware that the line to wait to enter or getting down takes a really long time if you really want to go.

Yelp
Lovely top view to go take pictures or a date. Most things in Taipei 101 are a bit pricey if not overpriced but many of the quality is assured. Even if your not buying anything I recommend people to check it out also there's some great restaurants in there too

Yelp
Besides being the landmark of Taipei, it is also the most luxurious and high-end shopping mall in the city. It's not completely filled with high-end designers though, you can comfortably shop at affordable brands such as Zara, Aldo, Nine West, Giordano and the like. You don't need to feel intimidated to come shop here, at their seasonal sale you could be shopping at the high-end brands with 30-40% off. There is a food count in B1 but you can also find cafés on the top floor. I personally enjoy sitting at the little boutique cafés on 4th floor, it's an open spaced area with a very high ceiling. I like the atmosphere there and the decor is very elegant.

Yelp
Walked around the Taipei 101 Mall three days ago. It was interesting. So many expensive high ended stores. This is a mall that is fancy!! I did not buy anything here though (other then dinner at a restaurant).

Yelp
The mall has many high end stores and you can get a tax refund if you have a passport. There's a variety of food in the food court to choose from as well as higher end restaurants. My only downside was some of the sales people were kind of rude. I tried on a ring at Cartier since the sizing is different and when I didn't buy it the salesman (Golden?) basically scoffed really loudly as I was walking away. Not a very good representation of the brand in my opinion. I previously contacted the store almost two months in advance to see if I could make an appointment to purchase a bracelet and they sent an email back saying it's not available with no explanation as to why it couldn't be ordered or anything. So I took my business elsewhere. So sad an experience like that knocked a star off my review of the mall.

Yelp
of course, the tallest building in taipei, and all of taiwan, would have to have a mall, another place for tourists and locals alike to shop and contribute to taipei's economy! although we did not ascend to the top of the building (which costs 500 NT ~ $16 USD and can have quite a long wait time), we did take some time to stroll around each floor of the mall, to see what shoppes they had, what holiday novelties were offered, and what vendors were at the food court. it reminded me of world trade center in nyc, pre-9/11, only with chinese signage and cuisine. most of the shoppes were high end, think prada, gucci, dior, tiffany, but at least the food court was affordable, with many taiwanese, chinese, japanese, and korean fastfood type places. they also had a large pineapple cake shoppe, for those who wished to purchase gifts for loved ones. not a bad mall, but there are better places to shop and eat in taipei, esp if you want something very local, and cheap!
