This is a must see. Don't forget to go directly across the street to see more. Signs are both in Chinese and English. The architecture here is absolutely amazing. The peace here is incredible. I had the whole place to myself for a while. Go slow, spend time, read everything.

The Confucius Temple is a peaceful escape from the city buzz. Beautiful architecture, quiet courtyards and a real sense of history. It’s not flashy, but that’s the charm. And the best part? Free entry. Totally worth a visit if you’re into culture and calm. Follow me for more @roxana.iamandi.❤️

Beautiful temple. I went just after sunset and it was very quiet with only a couple of locals. Please be respectful when people are praying. Free entrance

Saturday April 26 2025 Very simple temple a bit austere, No flashing ornaments or sculptures. A place to reflect and meditate. Don t miss the free calligraphy session, you will get your words written in calligraphy.

This temple is a peaceful gem in Taipei, rich with elegant symmetry, ornate woodwork, and vibrant roof dragons that guard tradition and beauty. The intricate carvings and vivid colors are a feast for the eyes and soul.

This is a beautiful temple steeped in history and ceremony. It is free to enter, and there is a visitor center, souvenir shop, and a theater on the grounds. There are many displays depicting the ceremonial events that happen regularly here, and explain the philosophy and teachings of Confucius. Plan on spending about 45 minutes or an hour here to see the grounds and exhibits.

A site seeping with educational and historical depth, rich with beauty and with peace abounding. An opportunity not just to learn about Confucius and his world-shaping thought but to walk among the buildings in which this thought is explored and passed down through generations. With friendly and welcoming staff and a well-stocked gift shop, the temple will stay both in your mind and in your luggage via your souvenir.
