I stayed at Taipei Fullerton South with my dad for a short getaway, and overall, it delivered solid value. The entry-level room was modern, clean, and comfortable — nothing overly special, but definitely good for the price. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the receptionist even gave us an early check-in. And the staff were friendly and helpful throughout.||The location is a real plus: just a short walk (under 5 minutes) to the MRT red line, which makes exploring the city very easy. You can even catch a view of Taipei 101 on the walk from the station, which was a nice touch. Facilities like the gym are a bit dated, but that didn’t really affect the stay much.||Breakfast, however, was extremely crowded — it seems like everyone gets it included — and the spread itself was fairly standard hotel fare, nothing particularly exciting. Still, it did the job before heading out for the day. (Although I would skip it and get some exciting Taiwanese fare nearby for cheap.)||For the price, this hotel is a strong value option if you’re prioritising convenience and a modern room. Personally, I’d probably try a different hotel next time — but if you’re looking for budget-friendly comfort near the MRT, this is a very solid choice.

Convenient location. Close to MRT station making it an ideal place to explore Taipei from. The lobby is nice. Rooms are clean. I really like the bluetooth speaker alarm clock combo to play music from. Now for the not as great parts. The grout in the bathrooms show signs of mold. The facilities, like sauna and gym show age/disrepair and not in the best of shape. Do NOT accidentally look in the cabinet in the gym that contains the water filter. You won’t want to drink the water after that. The gendered hours for sauna use is useless. Women’s hours end at 6:30pm or so and after that it’s men only. During the day I would be running around sightseeing not loitering around the hotel. I went up to use the gym at night and there was never any men in the sauna. I think women are much likely to use the spa facilities than men would, so the hours should be reversed. Also the so called garden was pretty disappointing. When I went to check it out there were several employees sitting in the walkway leading to it smoking up a storm which made it impossible for me to stay in the small area called a garden to relax. I expected a bit more for a 4 star hotel.

My review is strictly for the hot rooms. The aircon is very poor and the room is hot and we were sweating at night. I couldn't sleep. Cancelled my next night and checked in another place The front desk and manager were extremely nice! The people are great but unfortunately they cannot do much. Please avoid staying here if you want a cold room. (Even a cool room)

Situated in a great location, 3-minute walk to the Daan MRT station, which connects you to the Brown and Red Lines. A safe and preferred neighborhood within Taipei city.|The breakfast was awesome and delicious, offers a wide variety with fresh ingredients, coupled with attentive service from its restaurant staff, together, creates a great dining experience. |The room was well cleaned and quiet, though a tab smaller than its competitors of the same level, but still spacious and comfortable.|The public area was not as well cleaned compared to other hotels, likely the cleaning crew has arrived yet. When you raised the issue, they listened and took care of it. Some had better attitude than the other. |Overall, it met expectations. |If and only if the pricing is competitive, I will stay there again, as other hotels nearby are bigger, with better service and cleaning. |But I must say, of almost all hotels nearby (within 3 blocks), its breakfast is one of the best.

Our stay here was overall okay. It’s a bit pricier compared to other hotels, but the rooms were clean and housekeeping came every day. For those wondering, there’s NO BIDET if that’s something you’re looking for. Location-wise, it’s super convenient since it’s just about a 5-minute walk to the train station, and thankfully, you don’t really hear the train noise. Breakfast was included and had a decent variety, like bread, fried rice, fruits, veggies, and more. The staff were really nice and polite. I also loved that they offered free coffee and snacks like cookies in the lounge.

We booked 2 rooms and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We were also able to have book another night on the day of check out due to our flights being so late. The staff were very obliging.||Very reasonable prices at a great location! It is walking distance to eateries and shopping.||Definitely recommend!

Hotel is situated approximately 200m away from metro exit 5. Room is small and aircon was told not able to change temperature. Water in the shower is so irregular. Cold water can turn hot suddenly and vice versa. Room cleaning service was 50/50. Maybe depends on who’s at the concierge serving. Cleaning auntie cleared the trash and forgot to put the plastic bag so I called the front counter…the auntie came up, passed the bag and tell us she’s rushing to end work so we put the plastic bag ourselves. Aircon was leaking opposite my room and the hotel decided to do maintenance at the corridor ceiling just outside my room. At freaking 8am with all the vacuum noise going on for 1 hour. Every night the aircon makes intermittent noise that disrupts my sleep. Adding onto that, the aircon makes the room so dry that our throat always hurts in the morning. With the price range, the same breakfast served for my 6 days of stay is disappointing.

This hotel is not located in the heart of a famous tourist area but at an intersection of two MRT lines, which is a very favourable choice for the tourists. The room looks modern & offers everything except the disposable tooth brushes & paste. The room height is a tad lower than others. The atrium is a good feature but very stuffy. There are a small gym & sauna located on the 13th level that one needs to walk up via the fire stairs. There are some nice touches of decoration around for mood enhancement. However, it appears there is a short of storage spaces, as things were left in the public corridor after the 3pm check-in time for whole night. In fact, the landing areas in the fire stairs are used for the storage of the cleaning carts. This affects the safety of the exit in case of emergency. There is also no need to use the room card to access to each level.
