Taipei Fullerton Hotel-Fuxing South

From start to finish, I was extremely satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always available to answer questions and ensure a smooth experience. Their attentiveness truly elevated the trip. The room itself was spotless—perfectly clean and well-maintained. More importantly, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of travel and exploring. A major highlight was the breakfast bar. It offered a wide variety of fresh and tasty options and was a great way to start the morning. The dining area was tidy and efficiently managed. Finally, the location is perfect for getting around. Being so close to a metro stop made navigating the city simple and quick. I felt the value for the price and the overall convenience of the location were outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

What i like & dislike: 1. Location wise if u use mtr for transpo, easy also to get taxi infront of hotel but no free parking, just a quick drop by.2. Unlimited coffee and cookies; but the server there is not approachable and friendly. She never smiles to us, and even never refill the cookies even kid is crying for it.3. Rooms are okay, but no amenities like u need to request for toothbrush?? 4. The lobby is very comfortable for waiting, because they are very strict in check in and check out time.5. Booking for this because i love sauna, but really disappointed coz it is close without notice😢😢6. I appreciate the buffet breakfast, but hopefully staffs improve or practice smiling.

My poor rating is made over the single issue of the room being too hot. Specifically, the bedsheets being super thick. Even with the thermostat reading 19/20 degrees, the bedsheet was so thick that we spent most of the night awake and sweating. When asked if they had thinner sheets, the manager told us that they couldn’t help us. Fixing this issue would have been very inexpensive, yet for the next four nights after we complained the hotel decided to not help us. Other than the bed temperature, the location is actually pretty nice, the staff are nice, and the hotel is kept in decent shape.

The location of this hotel is close to excellent, but the service quality and in-room details were quite disappointing. What really surprised me was seeing a certification behind the front desk stating that the building is not earthquake-safe — something guests should be aware of. Basic amenities were surprisingly lacking. The hotel didn’t provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, which is very unusual for a non-budget property but then the hotel informed me that it is due to TW legal requirements. Instead, there was only a small bar of soap — yet, ironically, they offered a full pump bottle of body lotion. It would have made far more sense to provide essentials like liquid soap, toothpaste, and a toothbrush rather than body lotion, which isn’t a necessity in standard hotel toiletries. The faucet below the shower in bathroom room was partially broken, spraying water from the sides, and the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted at all. Housekeeping didn’t offer new slippers after cleaning even the slippers were not there. All in all, the experience left a rather stingy image of the hotel — great location overshadowed by poor attention to guest comfort and service details.

This is a locally owned hotel and, although rated as a four-star property, it feels more like a three-star international chain hotel. The staff do not greet guests proactively and tend to respond only when spoken to. Even when thanked, they often remain unresponsive, which was rather disappointing.The hotel has a distinct 1990s vibe which is dated, but equipped with all the basic facilities one might need. Breakfast was quite unappealing, and the coffee was especially disappointing as it was served from a pot rather than freshly ground.That said, the location is excellent and just a few minutes’ walk from the rail system, with plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby. From a pricing perspective, it’s reasonable value for money, and I wouldn’t mind staying here again, provided expectations are managed accordingly.

Located near Daan metro and has a busstop right at the doorstep making it convenient to travel around via public transport. The room is quite dated but spacious enough for 2 pax. Air conditioning is weak in the mid of summer, can't seem to adjust it, might be central airconditioning. Breakfast is a simple fare, but the scrambled eggs was cooked perfectly! Staff at the restaurant was friendly and cheerful.The buttons in one of the lift was wonky and would require multiple tries.Would recommend if you are on a budget.

I had a wonderful stay at Taipei Fullerton South Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful amenities that made me feel right at home. The location was perfect — close to public transport, shops, and great local food spots. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei!

It’s mostly fine. Location is actually really good. But the hotel staff were talking pretty loudly in the morning outside my room while cleanjng; feels like an unnecessary disturbance
