Went in the first time 2 years ago for a special event hosted by Hermes (yes, the over-priced brand) The expensive performance was a treat for sure, yet the music centre itself is an architecture that has a unique appeal, given that there isn’t much land to form such size of construction in Taipei, though the project was quite impressive Further to other exhibitions, interesting but not the greatest (whoever is in charge needs to try harder) it is obviously a difficult work to collect infos or items when people weren’t caring or cherished so much about pop music in Taiwan, it was just some forgettable records among other entertainment elements ….also staffs needed better training on manners, not just holding a poker face. Hope to return soon and check out more in this venue, and hopefully to update, add 2 more stars on this review

We visited the center on Monday and it was closed but the plaza and the sky bridge are still accessible. Impressive architecture and large space to watch the urban landscape.

I've been here many times for different concerts and music festivals. I would say it's a well-designed venue for music events. When there's a music festival, they sometimes close the road, and there are food trucks offering a variety of food. On regular days, there are also 2-3 bars around the area for a quick drink before the concert. However, you can't bring drinks into the concert hall. The main hall has three floors for large concerts. If you look at my photos, you'll see different views from various seating areas, starting with the standing area (second pic), the second floor (third pic), and the third floor (fourth pic). At the entrance, there are areas usually open for selling merch during events. I'm always impressed by how organized the queues and setups are, and I’ve never had to wait too long. In addition to the main hall, there are smaller halls for other types of events.

Great dun place for live music and dance events. Love the architecture. Could have some cafes though.

The concert venue was full of mistakes. Did they put some intern in charge of milet's concert on 11/30/24? The screens on the side were flickering and having low FPS issues. Delayed screen/lag for a live performance is an embarrassment. The screens were also turned off half the time for no reason, unless they were trying to fix the lag and failed. I couldn't see anything from the back. The production in charge of the audio did not know what they were doing...the music was clipping because it was too loud and overpowered the vocal performance. Overall Taipei music center was terrible, it was wasted potential for an artist coming from overseas. I paid lots of money to travel 7700 miles to see Milet live and it was not what I expected. Milet was awesome, 5/5 for her performance. Venue is 1/5 for poor performance.
