If you need a place to reflect on the foolishness of those in power during the geopolitical insanity between 1939 and 1945, this is the perfect spot. It is located in the foothills of Maxwell Hill or, as it is now known, as Bukit Larut. The cemetery is divided into two parts. Divided by the small road leading to Bukit Larut. From the town, the side on the right is for Christians, and on the left of the road is for non-christians. The neat rows of headstones do create a dignified yet melancholy atmosphere. If you are in Taiping, do visit this beautiful place. It may keep you grounded for some time.
