Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa

A beautiful place. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. On my wall of fame, Jamila at the reception, Peterson restaurant, mark the driver, Daniel, Geofry and Collins at the restaurant were excellent. The housekeeping was nice as well. Sylvia welcomed us all the time. Thanks to Wendy and Cynthia at the spa. And generally, I appreciate everyone who made my days a haven.

We stayed at the Salt Lick Lodge for one night and did some extra activities as well. One of them was a cooking class at Taita Hills and it was a really great experience! We were cooking in the middle of their huge vegetable garden. We first got a nice tour of the garden by Sausi after which we had to fish for our own fish from the pond. We hand picked fresh veggies from the garden to go with our fish as well. After that we prepared and cooked everything together with the chefs Emanuel and Betty, who were great and so much fun! Also the host Crescencia was there to help us with anything we needed. It was a truly great experience and the food was amazing! There was even more food than what we prepared so we had a delicious lunch. All in all a fully recommended experience which is great value for money for only 20USD per person! Thanks again!

Stayed for 1 night whilst on my safari tour, the hotel is beautiful. ||Beautiful views, we could have sat in the garden area looking over the sanctuary and mountains all evening.||The service was amazing, Harrison in the bar and Patterson in the restaurant. Both of them could not have done enough for us and really went out there way to make our stay memorable.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and their warm hospitality made me feel at home right away. The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices at the buffet, ensuring that every meal was enjoyable. The only drawback was that the walls are quite thin. I could hear almost every movement from the room next door, which became especially noticeable when a family with children was staying beside me. Overall, it’s a great hotel with wonderful service and delicious food. I also recommend joining the night safari , it was a fantastic experience and really added to my trip.

Our room was beautiful and authentic, with elephants right outside the balcony when we arrived. The whole property is green, clean, and wonderfully maintained. After breakfast we could even watch zebras by the pool. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially Patterson at the restaurant.

Great experience. Customer service without doubt is a 6 star quality. Enjoyed on every corner of the hotel. Had 2 quality but short lived game drives where we were able to witness all but rhino and leopard among the big fives, and all the ugly five as well 😁, thanks to Robin our driver/tour guide. A couple of bird apecies including a crest headed eagle and several vultures were also on the list. Im not a foodie butbI couldnt get enough with great service from Harrison who is eager to patiently explain the different varieties fluently using swahili and english. Just a few names to thank for making the stay worthwile; Naomi at the reception, gave us a super welcome, setting the right mood for whole stay on the 1st day, Stacy also did her best to make us feel comfortable. Lydia at the curio shop took her time to vividly explain the varieties of merchandise in her shop, not forgetting she was the one who assisted us with a type C charger. Great experience!

Great staff. Harrison was exceptional. He served with a smile and was eager to help in any way.|He made our meals memorable. Such a great guy!!!

Our experience was excellent. Customer experience delivered by Patterson was on a high level. We loved the rooms and dinning experience. Very child friendly.
