A truly memorable stay with outstanding service and elegance. My experience at Taj Bengal was exceptional from the moment I arrived. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every detail perfect. The ambience blended luxury with comfort, and the rooms were impeccably designed for relaxation. Dining options were exquisite, offering both variety and top-notch quality. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, restaurants, or housekeeping, reflected a high standard of professionalism and care. Overall, it was a seamless and enriching stay that exceeded expectations.

FURKAN. CAL 27, I stay in room no -530, My stay at Taj Bengal was truly exceptional. The staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism from the moment I arrived, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Service throughout the hotel was prompt, courteous, and consistently impressive. The dining experience was excellent, with delicious food and a pleasant ambience. However, one area that needs improvement is the absence of a dedicated kids’ zone. For a hotel of this standard, having no space for children to play is disappointing. Overall, Taj Bengal offers great comfort and hospitality, but adding a kids’ zone would make the experience even better.

This Taj has, hands down, the most amazing service I've experienced. From the moment one arrives and receives the "tikka" it is just excellent. Great rooms, fabulous bar, outstanding breakfasts and helpful friendliness all gel to create a wonderful stay. Special thanks to Bimal the magnificent concierge (Taj should send him to other locations to ensure they are up to his standards), Bishal our friendly, attentive pool attendant, Soban and Anjan who made each breakfast a joy and Tonia who went out of her way to assist my wife with a wardrobe issue. Thanks so much!

The staff here really need proper training on guest handling and hospitality. Some of them seem to forget that they are part of the service industry, and because of a few employees, the overall team’s image and morale get affected. Also, there’s no proper bike parking facility. If you park your bike at the back of Taj Bengal (most likely the staff parking area), it takes a lot of effort to take it out, and even after asking for help, the staff don’t assist. It feels like guests arriving by car receive better treatment, which is quite disappointing and unacceptable. I sincerely request the management to train their staff on how to treat every guest with equal respect and warmth. Being from the service industry myself and a graduate of IIHM, I understand the importance of delivering good hospitality. Hope this feedback helps in improving the overall guest experience. 🙏

Taj Bengal remains an eternal favourite. It’s been one of the temptations of coming to Kolkata each time. As always the room was fabulous, the staff courteous, helpful and friendly. This time I got to use the Club lounge which I hadn’t had the time to during my last visit. It was such a lovely experience. The Tak Bengal also has one of the most spacious and yet cosiest lobby - the evening treat of jhalmuri and chai is something I never missed. The best part is that the hotel has remained consistent in its quality of rooms and service.

It is a very luxurious hotel with mesmerizing views, arts and furnitures. The behaviour of stuff is also very polite. Nice ambience. But food quality and taste is something on which they should be focusing more. Number of variety for starters and desert are not good at all. Even I am very much dissatisfied with the options of main course section for lunch.Buffet area should be more spacious. Overall a nice experience except the food
