Very nicely located property in the heart of Kolkata, can see a lot of greenery opposite from the rooms. Good housekeeping, know their job well and cater to the needs. Had a pleasurable dining experience at Cal 27, with special mention for Saptarishi and Subhaprata taking great care of me and ensuring all my dining requirements are met with absolute perfection. The two of them are great gentlemen and their attitude towards service and hospitality made my stay even more pleasurable and memorable as the two perform their jobs with absolute finesse and aplomb adding their personal touch always with a smile. Good spa and saloon , enjoyed the services there as well. Taj Bengal is miles ahead in terms of hospitality as compared to other Taj properties across the country.

Wonderful service and charming staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay in Kolkata. I could not believe how quickly the staff came to our aid whenever we needed assistance — the tailor was wonderful, the drivers were courteous, and the restaurant staff were perfectly attentive. We had a few spa services, which were very nice — especially the pedicure!

Everything was excellent and we enjoyed our stay. Central location, excellent ambience, warm and cooperative staff are some of the main features. Food was very nice but wish to have more variety of Indian dishes for vegetarians. Overall we enjoyed.

Beautiful memories with Taj Bengal|When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed and given a beautiful room. We were there to celebrate our anniversary which was made so special by Nupur at the front desk she took lovely care of our stay and we loved each and every moment spent with Taj Bengal.

Stayed here for a day on a business trip! The lobby was beautifully lit for the holiday season and had a Christmas feel all around. The reception staff were warm and welcoming. Overall a very good stay. A major shout out to Mr. Vijay from the restaurant for his amazing hospitality and kindness. Always smiling and ready to help. Please convey my regards to him.
