A nice colonial hotel in the center of the city, that definitely deserves to be called an institution in Chennai. Upper class, high value and invites to slow down and have a relaxing time. The highlight was the service, that did everything possible to find a better fitting room for us, after some issues with the first room in the old part of the building. The rooms there don't get the same love as the rooms in the newer part of the hotel. Overall, a very nice experience, and more than 6 stars to the service and the staff! Well done

Exceptional service at The Verandah. We loved every meal we had. There was a constant flurry of thoughtful extra things brought to us and we were constantly stuffed! There breakfast here is really exceptional. Millar Dass, Shankar, Kalaiperumal were really really amazing at service and care.

Great food and great service experience. All the staff members were very helpful and humble. Mr. K. Muruli from the restaurant was always available for any kind of need and was smiling and serving all the guests. Rooms are clean and hotel smells fresh too

What an amazing stay at Taj Connemara Chennai. The stay was exceptional from the beginning we have stepped in. The rooms were huge and the property itself is beyond beautiful.|The lunch buffet was truly a highlight: Malabar parantha, Dal, mango rice infact every dish was cooked to perfection. |The staff at Taj Connemara went above and beyond. Special thanks to : Shaji , Doas , Soma , Dharma and Sanjan for their warmth and professionalism, they made our stay worth it.

I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The rooms were pleasant and well-maintained, offering a good overall experience. The food was decent, though not exceptional. One area that could use improvement is the service speed—staff were slightly slow at times. That said, the hotel still provides a solid 5-star experience and is definitely value for money. A good place to stay if you're looking for comfort and 5 star experience at good price.
