We had an amazing stay at Taj Exotica Maldives! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Our host Adam made our stay truly special—he was always available, attentive, and ensured every detail was taken care of. The front office team, especially Nadheem, Aalif, and Jina, were incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The resort itself is breathtaking, with stunning views, delicious food, and excellent service everywhere. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday unforgettable. The glass-like ocean at Taj Exotica has the most beautiful water we have ever seen. From the water villa, we can watch the sunrise, and it is surrounded by coral—quiet and comfortable. The sand villa, which faces the sunset, is an excellent choice for large families. With two floors, it offers a fantastic view.||The staff at Taj Exotica are friendly and helpful; Jina, Adam, Aalif, and Nadeem made our stay here a wonderful experience. Thank you all! By the way, the food is exceptional—there is a wide variety of dishes, all delicious. We hope to spend our vacation at Taj Exotica again next time.

If I could provide half star reviews, I'd note this as a 3.5/5, but rounding to 4 on Tripadvisor. My wife and I went to Taj Exotica during the last week of October for our honeymoon. Overall, we had a great time. The resort is gorgeous and the staff is very accommodating. Special shout-out to our host, Adam, who ensured we had a fantastic time. The staff really works tirelessly and attentively to make sure your stay is comfortable.||We weren't able to fully enjoy all of the activities available on-site due to the weather, but that's something no one could control, and we had expectations going into the trip that weather wouldn't be pristine given we were going at the tail end of monsoon season. That said, it worked in our favor. The first couple of days, which had the most rain, were spent relaxing indoors, going to the spa, and adjusting to the different time zone. During the back half of our 5-day stay, we got lots of sun and warmth. ||What would have been a 5/5 review was knocked down to 3.5 mainly because of one aspect—the food. There are two main places to get food at the resort: 24 Degrees and Mediterraneo. The former serves Indian and pan-Asian food, while the latter provides western. The only solid food we had at the resort was Indian as it was very good. However, everything else paled in comparison. The pan-Asian food was OK at best, but the western food at Mediterraneo was awful. We had received overcooked, gray tuna during our only dinner there. We decided to give the place another try for lunch, and was given calamari that was practically fried batter and fish and chips that was also overcooked. I recognize that getting certain ingredients into the Maldives is difficult, but the quality of the western dishes almost made it seem that the cooking team wasn't sure what they were doing. It certainly left a bad taste in our mouth, especially given how expensive everything is on the resort. ||If Taj Exotica were to step up their food game, the resort would be an absolute 5/5. However, this hard to overlook since it is nearly impossible to get food outside of the island you're on. Otherwise, it was an unforgettable, gorgeous experience.

We had an incredible experience — from the breathtaking views to the excellent and efficient service from Nadeem, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were warm, friendly, and always eager to help. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful. Truly an unforgettable stay!

Its been many years since i visited this beautiful property. We flew into mali and our dedicated boat was waiting for us without a delay. Taj's 2 nights that we were there was a gastronomy delight. You cannot cover their breath of cuisines, there is so much food around. Snorkling around the white sea beaches felt dreamy. I have never seen something so amazing, so serene. We had a water villa. Beware of the Maldivian spices, it will make even an expert cry...

My time on the island was absolutely delightful, with every single day filled with joy. The butler, Aalif, provided extremely thoughtful and attentive service. Additionally, team members including Adam, Jinan, Elena, and Nadeem all went out of their way to take good care of the guests. I would definitely love to visit again if I get the chance.

The transformation under GM Mr Abnash Kumar is truly tangible—service levels are impeccable, and the culinary offerings have reached new heights. 🍽️ Mediterraneano, the Michelin-starred restaurant by Jeffery Vella, is a standout. Head Chef Mario runs it with finesse, making it a must-visit for both breakfast and dinner. Special mention to Bilal, whose personal service adds a warm touch—he’s a real asset to the resort. 🤵 Our butlers, Mohammed and Pratha, were as professional and personable as ever, continuing the tradition of attentive care that keeps us coming back. 💆‍♀️ The spa deserves its own praise—the massages were exceptional, delivered with precision and care in a serene setting. A perfect way to unwind and elevate the entire experience. 🤿 The new dive operators, Kyoto, matched the excellence of their predecessors, Ocean Divers, and Mat, the dive centre manager, was a pleasure to deal with—knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout. We’re now heading to Taj Coral Reef to continue our holiday and are genuinely looking forward to reconnecting with the wonderful team there. Taj Maldives continues to set the bar for luxury, service, and heartfelt hospitality.
