🌴 A Decade of Excellence at Taj Maldives
Having stayed at both Taj resorts in the Maldives for many years, I can confidently say this recent visit has been one of the most memorable. The transformation under GM Mr Abnash Kumar is truly tangible—service levels are impeccable, and the culinary offerings have reached new heights.
🍽️ Mediterraneano, the Michelin-starred restaurant by Jeffery Vella, is a standout. Head Chef Mario runs it with finesse, making it a must-visit for both breakfast and dinner. Special mention to Bilal, whose personal service adds a warm touch—he’s a real asset to the resort.
🤵 Our butlers, Mohammed and Pratha, were as professional and personable as ever, continuing the tradition of attentive care that keeps us coming back.
💆♀️ The spa deserves its own praise—the massages were exceptional, delivered with precision and care in a serene setting. A perfect way to unwind and elevate the entire experience.
🤿 The new dive operators, Kyoto, matched the excellence of their predecessors, Ocean Divers, and Mat, the dive centre manager, was a pleasure to deal with—knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout.
We’re now heading to Taj Coral Reef to continue our holiday and are genuinely looking forward to reconnecting with the wonderful team there. Taj Maldives continues to set the bar for luxury, service, and heartfelt hospitality.
