Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa

We recently stayed at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa for 2 nights in 2nd week of February, and overall it was a mixed experience. The location of the resort is excellent. Being situated by the sea with beautiful views makes it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, and we were quite happy with the overall comfort and ambiance. However, one major concern was the cleanliness of the carpets in the room. They did not seem properly cleaned, which affected the overall feel of the space. In our opinion, it would be better if the hotel either ensured deep cleaning of the carpets regularly or considered removing them altogether to maintain higher hygiene standards. Regarding service, the staff was polite and courteous, but we felt the hospitality did not match the price point. For example, while we were waiting in the lobby, we asked for a coffee and were told to go down to the restaurant and get it ourselves. For a luxury property at this level, guests should not have to worry about such basic service requests. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast experience, which unfortunately was below expectations. For a resort of this standard, we expected a much better spread and overall quality. In summary, while the location and rooms are very good, the service experience and breakfast need significant improvement to justify the premium pricing.

Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa in Goa is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay, with stunning sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. The property is well-maintained, and the blend of heritage architecture with modern comfort gives it a unique charm. The staff are warm, polite, and very attentive, which makes the entire experience feel smooth and welcoming. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast spread, and the beach access and pool add to the overall enjoyment. It is on the pricier side, but the service, location, and ambience make it feel worth the stay. Overall, it’s a great choice for a calm and luxurious getaway in Goa.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at Fort Aguada Morisco Restaurant, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the attentive service to the delicious food, everything was simply amazing. My family and I had a wonderful evening and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Special thanks to Sunil, Deepa, Camil, Andrew, Athrav, and Joel for their outstanding hospitality and for making our visit so memorable.

Their attention to detail, proactive support, and personal touch transformed our holiday into something truly memorable. It’s rare to see this level of dedication, and Taj Fort Aguada showcases hospitality at its absolute finest. The Hermitage Villas are an experience in themselves – private, serene, beautifully designed, and among only 17 exclusive villas on the property. Staying there brought a sense of quiet luxury that elevated every moment of our trip. Goa, of course, is always amazing and we will return for its charm — but now, our future trips to Goa will be even more motivated by the desire to return to Taj Fort Aguada, and specifically, to stay once again at the beautiful Hermitage Villa. I believe I don't have words to describe luxury and feel of this hotel. What a beautiful property it is, view of property is mesmerizing. I lost my heart ❤️ there , we all friends were there for having Beer in there Bar near pool area. View was awesome 😎😎. Entire property is vast that we couldn't explore but whatever we could explore the experience blow away my mind. If you can afford please stay otherwise just visit to have lunch, coffee,drink . If you are in North Goa then you should not miss Taj Fort Aguada resort & Spa

My recent experience is not good. I visited Fort Aguada in 2012. It was a great experience then. But my experience on 5th March 2026 was not good. There are leaks in rooms and cafeteria. The breakfast lounge had water dripping in. The baggi and transportation service are not good. They charge for infant food also, which is really not acceptable. No free activities for kids. I had a cousin of mine, whose birthday stay was in Taj and they wished him with a single piece of pastry 🍰 I have served for TCS long back and TATA group carried it’s legacy and charm. But it is lost in last few years. They are not maintaining the properties and beauty of it.

I stayed at Taj Fort Aguada for 3 days and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The service was exceptional — every staff member was attentive, polite, and always ready to help. The food was delicious and consistently on point throughout my stay. The highlight for me was the breathtaking view of the ocean. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was truly mesmerizing and made the stay even more memorable. Overall, everything from comfort to hospitality was top-notch. A perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Goa. Highly recommended! 🌊✨

We had a great stay there. It’s an amazing property. Special thanks to Mr Ramnath at the bar. Amazing customer service. Big thanks to Vinayak and the other gentleman at travel desk - super cooperative. The entire lobby staff and housekeeping staff was very courteous . Front desk should enhance . Some improvement points : Check each cottage before a new guest Connect cottages to front porch for movement in the hotel. Guest services does not communicate properly when a vehicle Is needed at a cottage to come to lobby Swimming pool staff to be strict - can’t have fully clad folks come and dip their feet and just sit Next time someone writes a week ahead for planning a lunch or dinner - call them 2 days in advance - not on the special day ! When you send folks to caravela for breakfast - tell them if it’s under renovation and outside sitting not permitted For those staying in a cottage - Keep in mind all seaView cottages don’t have a clear sea view. For those booking a room - if you want a balcony - room needs to state it has an outdoor seating. The beach is not private and can get crowded in the day. There are very fine rock particles as well but it’s manageable. Given that the hotel is at the end of candolim - it’s a km away from main area at candolim. But the drop cabs of Taj are good and you can get dropped at INR 525 or so. Check Image for price list. Thanks
