Taj Ganges, Varanasi

We have been visiting this property every year for the last 7 years and not even once have we been disappointed! NOT ONCE.||Whenever Baba Vishwanath calls, this is the only property we stay for our religious ceremonies in Benaras. ||The entire staff is extremely courteous and exemplarily professional. ||The junior suites are quiet, despicably clean & cozy. Full marks to the dedicated housekeeping staff.||The location is ideal and connected to all means of transportation round the clock. ||The food options are in plenty and the live music at the speciality restaurant takes you back to the Raj era. (This is a former King's Haveli though!) ||Once again, no room for disappointment.|Thank you & see you again this year. ||Jai Vishwanath

One of the best hotels in Varanasi with occupying a large area including various infrastructures with a perfect interior designs rooms and banquet hall. The food cuisine is outstanding and bestest of its own having great aroma. Staff behaviour is also friendly and supportive. There is a large space for walking and parking also. I have seen too many construction work also there. Lots of greenery covering this landscape with a lots of trees of various kinds of flowers and various shades.

Taj Ganges is a hotel class apart. Location is very good. Hotel Ambience is also perfect. |I felt the service could have been a bit better in terms of service time. |The staff however was extremely courteous, very caring.|They just don't say no to anything !!|Enjoy coming to all Taj properties always.

Anywhere in the world the service, hospitality and food is the best in a Taj Group hotel. Taj Ganges was no different and we had a memorable stay. Having fallen ill, we made one too many demands on the housekeeping and they ensured that every need of ours was taken care of. You order something "different" and they make a note for the every other employee to take care of when you stay. Love you Taj

The least favorite of the hotels on the trip. We were told that Varanasi has relatively few really nice hotels so our expectations were fairly low when we arrived here. The room was small, simple in layout and materials. Toiletries were mediocre and very spare. The bed was not the most comfortable. Some of the staff in the hall pestered us to say good things about them to the managers to improve their tip share. The high quality aspect of our stay here was the restaurant food.

We went to dine in on special occassion of family and our experience was amazing! The personal touch of Mr. Ratan Chauhan added on to hospitality of Taj!! I love this place as always! |I am glad i choose Taj for cosy family occasions ! Beautiful well spent evening

I had stayed multiple times here. Earlier I had very good overall experience. However, this time I was disappointed. The main issue which I experienced is restaurant service. Room dining, and two restaurant service slow and not five star standard. The breakfast was not served to senior citizen even after multiple requests. Either the staff were inefficient or it is the problem of not having sufficient staffs. I understand that foreigners are our guests, it is equally important to take care of senior citizens. The room dining service was also poor. The quality vegetarian food was not five star standard. My old parents was about to leave the restaurant due to delay. We enjoyed our stay here--- it is a beautiful hotel. Despite being next to the bustle of the streets, it is very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The food was great, and my favorite thing was the hot foot soak after a day of walking around.
