Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa, Kovalam

So, firstly I would like to thank the Front office manager - Noel Jacob who was really really cooperative and ensured that the staff takes good care of us since we were traveling with an infant. Secondly the entire staff was very cooperative, positive and helpful. Service is great, Bait and high tea locations are postcard perfect. The entire property is a different experience, at the same time , food options are limited and rooms are not amazing, decent, just not amazing. All in all a wonderful stay, service was excellent. Also, you can’t use baby strollers as the property is not stroller friendly.

Had wonderful time with my family. We were well taken care of and served with warmth. Taj never disappoints in this context ever.|Bait is a must during sunset with the views. |High tea is also a highlight. Plenty of activities for all ages during high tea with delicious snacks with a view . |Good breakfast spread and ready to accommodate all guest needs with the smile.|Base rooms needs a upgrade. Some of the fixtures are not working. |Otherwise full star to the hotel

We had a garden view room. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. But definitely need some attention to detail. I did not enjoy the disposable wooden spoons for coffee, Our remote was held together with tape, and we could not operate tv at all. Patio door needs some attention and battle to open and close. Beautiful resort and staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend. Thank you.

We spent a few days at the Taj Green Cove and what an awesome and breathtaking experience it has been. ||As we were being driven to the property, we were wondering where are going. But once we entered inside the greenness took our breath away. Our Suite was a homely and very 'non-hotel' type accommodation which are typically claustrophobic. But not this. The two balconies we had all to ourselves was completely private and the view is worth every single rupee we spent. ||The ever friendly and warm hospitality of everyone serving us was a perfect 10/10.

Came here for a quick surprise for Valentine’s Day after our wedding. Let’s say my expectations were high when I found out it was a Taj property. It was so appalling. 1. First of all you find out most rooms are garden view and not beachfront. There’s barely some ocean view from the breakfast place and that’s about it. Our room had particularly bad privacy, sound of cars zipping all morning. You’d think that they’ll give you the best room newly married young couple and all. 2. we booked a table at their restaurant The Bait and they neither held our table, made us wait for 50 minutes. Then made a made shift table and asked us to sit down there. After that they said 20 minutes to bring the food but do the math. Place closes at 10:30. You arrive at 8:50, they don’t seat you until 9:40 and then your food isn’t even on your table at 10! I thought I was here for outstanding service. But it fell short and how. It was beyond disappointing. 3. Breakfast! Oh my goodness. It felt like I was eating in a South Indian restaurant white washed for foreigners. Tasteless food. The fruits and cold coffee were the heroes. Food I would give 0. Bland chutneys. That said, their restaurant called Curries had great food. I’ll admit the cycling track and boating in the backwaters is a great add on but if you’re unable to use their services. You’re literally paying for nothing. For the price paid, Leela gives you a bang for your buck for sure whether you’re booking a basic room or an upgraded suite you will have ocean view and wake up to the sound of waves. So if I were you,I’d pick Leela for Kovalam. As for this one property,it was underwhelming at best and I can’t say I felt the hospitality was even decent.

One of the best stays we’ve had at a Taj property, due in large part to managers Abishek and Raj, who checked on us daily to make sure our stay was perfect. The buffet was outstanding, with a large selection of south and North Indian food as well as Continental/American choices and a live station for fresh dishes. Bait was also an excellent restobar, with amazing views of the sea and lovely sunset panoramas. Concierge staff helped us organize several daily trips, packing us lunches and accommodating some last minute schedule changes easily. Look forward to visiting again!

The place is great with an amazing view and a luxury experience. Was here for a vendor visit and didn't get a chance to explore the property for too long. The hospitality and service is just great. It was a short but pleasant stay.

Stay was amazing. Had a great time. Food was amazing. Landscape is beautiful with backwater. Special mention to the amazing staffs who made our stay very comfortable. Especially security team, Sanal, Jasmine, Shiva, Tanisha, Dhiraj. Can't wait to come again.
