Taj Lands End (Mumbai, India) 4 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"It might not be exactly the end of the world, but compared to the manic bustle of central Mumbai, the swanky seaside suburb of Bandra feels quite comfortably distant. It’s also, not entirely coincidentally, a convenient location for travelers with business in the districts of Bandra-Kurla, Andheri or Worli, and it’s this conjunction — plus, as a bonus, close proximity to not one but two airports — that makes it an ideal location for the Taj Lands End." - Tablet Hotels

Before clicking the pay button, Think again! Great views, hospitality and a lovely Mumbai property.. That’s what we thought while booking the hotel. It was my birthday trip and I was thinking nothing can go wrong if it’s a Taj property like this and “oh my God”, I was so wrong. We had a four nights stay and had requested to split the rooms by views, Two days in beach and two days in sea link view. They did nothing. Absolutely nothing! 1) The room change request was not passed to anyone and no one did absolute anything about it. Mind it, we were not staying in basic categories and we are Taj club members as well. We followed up everyday thrice and absolutely nothing was done. Probably they expected us to leave all our work and sit on their heads to do it. But whatever! If you are asking me to believe they did not have even one sea link view room vacant in four days. I will say everyone is lying! 2) Guest service is below the norm. Our rooms wardrobe light’s sensor was not working properly and the light was flickering randomly making me uneasy. Did I complain, Yes! Was anything done, No! 3) Housekeeping is below par. I found a bindi sticking in my bathroom from previous customer. They literally never replaced our bath robes. Always kept only one when we were staying as a couple. Never replaced basic moisturiser and toiletries like toothpaste. May be the eye to detail is not there of u have a long stay. I don’t think there is a set protocol or anyone verifies the room. We asked them to clean the room next to birthday, the just poured my bathtub with all the balloons from previous night and (wait for it), didn’t clean it for two days. We complained and then they removed the balloons and two days old cake. Who eats two days old cake? How to use bathtub? Are these common sense questions not existing ? After we escalated they (for absolutely no reason) piled up 10 towels near the bathtub. Why? Who asked? Only they know! 4) Food in breakfast buffet is OK. The staff and nice and they serve you without hurrying up even at 10.30am. But overall you won’t find those crunchy croissants or nicely made omelettes. Food is OK.. The Two stars I have given is bcz of food being alright and I want to be nice. Also please note- They have a bathtub but they don’t provide shower gel separately. If you would like to use bathtub, carry your own gel. They have a coffee machine but they do not provide the coffee pods. Reason only known to them! Lastly, They ruined my birthday and that’s how I will remember it! Good luck to them!

This is a very nice property which has something for everyone. We had the sea view rooms which really give the room a vibe. My daughter loved the bunnies in the garden. Feeding them is not an experience she will forget soon. Rooms and bathroom were both nice and spacious. General service was very nice even though it was a crowded weekend. Breakfast was handled well even though hotel was at capacity.

Beautiful property located in Bandra with amazing view of sea on one side and city skyline on the other. Luxury at its finest. Hotel have activities for all age groups, be it enjoying with friends and family in 2 swimming pools or taking a stroll in private gardens or riding a cycle around or kids having a playtime. With great gym and even better trainers, you can continue to work on your fitness while on the trip. And hotel's multiple restaurants serve one of the best food around. With easy access and proximity to iconic places this place is a worth stay!

Our stay at Taj Lands End was very peaceful and pleasant. The staff is polite and welcoming and the service was good! We enjoyed our stay there 💕 On Lobby level 2 (L2), you can go and feed the bunnies, birds and fishes between 5-6pm. It's an amazing feeling. Loved it! The pools are big enough and have small jacuzzi, but swim wear is compulsory.

Our stay at the Taj Lands End was absolutely exceptional – far beyond perfect! The location is truly stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and the iconic Worli Sea Link. Our room was incredibly spacious and well-appointed with all the luxury amenities one could desire. The staff were consistently polite and provided top-notch hospitality throughout our stay. What truly stood out was the beautifully designed kids' area. The inclusion of the small rabbit enclosure, fish pond, and bird area was a unique and delightful touch that our children absolutely loved. It created a wonderful atmosphere for them. Staying here felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, allowing us to spend quality time with our family in a serene and luxurious setting. We highly recommend the Taj Lands End for a memorable and rejuvenating experience.

I had a great stay at the hotel. Loved its lawn. Rooms are super cozy and comfortable and inexplicably clean. Just that the staff is a little too occupied for prompt responses. Overall v v courteous and hospitable. The bell of the ball is the location.

I celebrated my wives birthday here. Despite asking for special arrangement like cake and decoration in room, they didn’t do anything. Then when I requested again on the day of birthday, they sent kids balloon in the name of decoration and 2 pastries. I took sea view room but glasses were not at all clean. They didn’t provide even toothpaste in room and had to be reminded to send. The bathtub was also dirty and could not be used. I have stayed in many 5 star chains including Taj but never saw the cleanliness issue ever. Even the couch in the room was dirty.
