Every single staff member, from the doorman to the concierge team, is attentive, personalized, and genuinely goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We stayed at Taj Lands End for three nights, and I have to say it has been one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had. From the moment we checked in, everything felt welcoming and personal. Our room had a stunning sea view that we never got tired of – waking up to that view every morning was a joy. The food was consistently delicious with a great variety at every meal. What really stood out to us was the warmth of the staff. They were always smiling, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. A special moment for us was when the Housekeeping Ambassador personally came to our room and surprised us with a beautifully arranged bouquet filled with thoughtful items and a handwritten note. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture, and it truly made us feel special. The environment throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing, and every corner reflects the signature Taj hospitality.

Taj Lands End is a well-located and welcoming hotel that clearly caters to a large international crowd. The service and staff are excellent—consistently attentive, courteous, and professional throughout the stay. However, the breakfast buffet could use more variety, especially for non-vegetarian guests. Around 95% of the spread is vegetarian, and if you’re staying for more than a week, expect the same selection every morning with very little change. Expanding the non-vegetarian offerings or rotating the menu would greatly improve the experience for long-stay guests. Overall, a comfortable stay with outstanding service, but the breakfast buffet may fall short for those looking for more diverse non-vegetarian options.

The rooms are luxurious, spacious (especially the four and five-fixture marble bathrooms featuring deep tubs and separate shower cubicles), and equipped with modern amenities. While the decor leans towards classic luxury, it feels timeless and well-maintained. ​The dining experience is a highlight, featuring renowned restaurants like Masala Bay for fine Indian cuisine and Ming Yang for authentic Sichuan and Cantonese dishes. The outdoor pool area and the sprawling lawns that capitalize on the sea views provide a perfect escape from the city's intensity. The J Wellness Circle spa is also a must-visit for traditional treatments. ​Pros: Unrivaled sea views (especially from infinity rooms), impeccable Taj hospitality, prime location in Bandra near key attractions and business hubs, and exceptional fine-dining options. Cons: The price point is high (though reflective of the value).

Our experience with Kyra’s service was truly outstanding. He was professional, attentive, and handled everything with great diligence. She carefully checked our tickets for all the rooms and ensured every detail was in perfect order. From the moment we arrived, Kyra made us feel genuinely welcome. We had just moved over from the Marriott Hotel, which I’m very familiar with, yet Kyra’s warmth and attention to detail made this welcome even better. He was fantastic in every aspect of her work at the reception — efficient, polite, and always ready to help. Her outstanding service really made a difference to our stay and set a high standard for hospitality. Highly recommended and deeply appreciated.

We had an amazing experience at Taj Lands End which exceeded all our expectations. We stayed there in the first two weeks of September. We encountered impeccable service from all the staff, there was delectable cuisine and the staff who go above and beyond with their warm smiles. A truly memorable experience that will bring us back again soon. I have to add we enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and had a great time.
