Absolutely loved my stay at Taj Lands End! The location is unbeatable — waking up to the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link was truly unforgettable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The hospitality was exceptional — every staff member was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the overall ambience of the property is luxurious yet peaceful. The poolside view during sunset is something you shouldn’t miss! A perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and world-class service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium and memorable stay in Mumbai. Will definitely visit again!

We stayed at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, for six nights to celebrate my mother’s upcoming 75th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. Arya at check-in was superb, warm, and welcoming. As the room we’d booked wasn’t available, he upgraded us to a Club Room, which was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and very well-maintained throughout our stay. The Club Lounge was also exceptional, with great food and service, and the staff ensured we were happy at all times. The hotel even arranged a birthday cake, which was a very kind touch. Anil from housekeeping on the 22nd floor did a phenomenal job; he kept our room in pristine condition and went beyond expectations, always checking in to see if we needed anything. From start to finish, it was seamless. On any future visit to Mumbai, we’ll definitely stay at Taj Lands End again.

This hotel was either excellent or terrible. Nothing in between. I arrived at the hotel with the hotel car service at 11.45pm after a long flight and it wasn’t until 12.45AM that I got a room. Their ‘excuse’ was that the previous guests had a late checkout. Given check in time is 2 pm I asked if I had arrived then would I get a room and they replied ‘of course’ The hotel did reduce the cost of my stay to compensate for this but it was so annoying I felt I would still include in the review. The first night I was kept awake all night and until late morning by banging from guys constructing exhibition stands. Anjali at reception gave me a new room, same floor, same view of the exhibition stands. Just 5 doors down. The same banging happened later in the week for a new exhibition. The room was really cold. 18 degrees and it never got above 20. The duvet was VERY thin and I requested a second one…. It took 3 days to arrive. I had an amazing spa experience - scrub and massage but the overall spa was a let down . Checked into the spa, at 2.30 for a 3pm appt and asked to get a small snack. I went to the cafe but no one came to take an order despite the spa receptionist telling them I wanted to eat something. After 20minutes I gave up. A lady who I believe was the spa manager came out of her office as I was explaining to the male receptionist what had happened Ed. She kindly asked him to get me a croissant… however rather unsurprisingly- this never arrived. Naresh in Indian restaurant is delightful. As are all his team ! Fabulous food and great service Mala in the bar was also fabulous. Charming and a real asset. Breakfast had an amazing selection of buffet and order able foods. Everything was delicious, but service was very slow.

Ming Yang: Frequently cited as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city, perfect for a quiet, impressive dinner. Atrium Bar: The grand piano in the lobby sets a classic, soulful tone that is a refreshing departure from the loud, "Instagram-focused" lounges found elsewhere. Wellness & Rejuvenation The J Wellness Circle (Jiva Spa) is a highlight for adults needing to decompress. The treatments are rooted in traditional Indian healing, and the outdoor pool area—flanked by palm trees and sea breezes—feels like a tropical escape in the heart of the metropolis. Verdict: While other hotels in Mumbai might offer "flash," Taj Lands End offers substance. It is a place for those who appreciate quiet luxury, legendary Indian hospitality, and a view that truly defines the spirit of modern Mumbai.

We recently celebrated our anniversary along with our babymoon at Taj Lands End, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. A very special thanks to Aastha Swarangi Ashwini from the Guest Relations team, who was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. She thoughtfully arranged a wonderful room upgrade and surprised us with the most beautiful décor for both our anniversary and babymoon. Every detail was handled with such warmth, care, and professionalism. Her hospitality, kindness, and genuine effort to make our celebration special truly stood out. Thanks to Aastha and her amazing team, we felt incredibly valued and cared for throughout our stay. The overall experience — from the impeccable service to the delicious food and luxurious comfort — was outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such precious milestones. Our stay at the Taj Lands End, Bandra was nothing short of delightful and truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, and that sense of warmth carried through every part of our stay. Sakshi made our welcome especially special. She is consistently helpful, thoughtful, and generous with her time, always offering excellent advice and insider tips on where to shop and what to visit around Mumbai. Her care and attention genuinely enhanced our experience. At reception, Momin was a true gentleman — professional, calm, and efficient, making everything seamless and effortless from start to finish. The Taj Club Lounge was a highlight of our stay, not only for its comfort but for the exceptional people who bring it to life. Suryansh stood out for his warm, interpersonal nature and engaging conversations. Rajiv, Veer, and Abhishek were equally wonderful — attentive, friendly, and naturally hospitable. Thanks to them, the lounge felt less like a hotel space and more like a place where we made new connections and perhaps even new friends. A special mention also goes to the salon team, particularly Abdul, who was outstanding. His professionalism, skill, and welcoming manner made for a great experience — he is truly a valuable asset to the salon and the wider Taj team. Dining at Ming Yang, the hotel’s Chinese cuisine restaurant, was another highlight. Asawari and Romit were absolutely delightful — knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, introducing us to some exceptional dishes that made the experience both memorable and indulgent Overall, this was a beautifully curated stay, delivered by people who clearly care about excellence and genuine hospitality. The team at Taj Lands End are real assets to the brand, and it’s because of individuals like these that we’re already looking forward to returning again

Taj Lands End truly defines world-class luxury and hospitality in Mumbai. From the moment you step into the grand, beautifully scented lobby, you are greeted with the legendary 'Tajness' that sets this hotel apart. ​The location is simply unbeatable—perched right at the end of Bandstand, offering absolutely breathtaking panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the majestic Bandra-Worli Sea Link. If possible, opt for a sea view room; waking up to that vista is a highlight of the stay. The rooms themselves are spacious, elegantly modern, and appointed with plush, comfortable furnishings. ​The dining experience is equally stellar. The breakfast spread at Vista is lavish, and enjoying a meal there while overlooking the water is a perfect way to start the day. For dinner, the Indian fine dining at Masala Bay is highly recommended for its innovative menu and deep flavors. ​What truly elevates the experience is the service. Every single staff member, from the doorman to the concierge team, is attentive, personalized, and genuinely goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They handle every request with promptness and a welcoming smile. ​Whether you're visiting for business (with easy access to BKC) or for a luxury leisure staycation, Taj Lands End is, without question, the gold standard in Mumbai. Extremely disappointed in this property. Taj used to be known for its service and exclusiveness. However things seem to have changed. Wait times to order food for breakfast are over an hour, in some cases they bringing out the orders incorrectly or NEVER! I ordered our food, waited for over an hour and never got it. No one checked to see or inform us that there was an issue or a delay of some sort. Taj Lands end is supposedly an "iconic" property. I could not find the icon in this property. The entrance to the Grand lobby, the restaurants and over all area is very modern, nicely maintained. But the rooms are old from the 80s 90s and have not been updated at all. The automated blinds were broken, the bidet had urine stains and public hair on them. I asked the reception to thoroughly clean it but they never did so. The room was not even ready at 9.30pm for check in. They claim the guest had just checked out and hence the room was being turned over. The TV in the room was broken and had some horrible chromatic abbererations. For a 5* hotel this property is 1*. I understand its constantly booked and the lobby is extremely busy all the time. Which tells me they are constantly booked. However, sacrifice on cleaning and service which are the two most important things is unacceptable. I used to often compare Taj to RitzCarlton but this stay changed by perspective. Ritz would never have this issue ever. Sadly Taj has lost a customer. I dont travel to locations where they have Taj properties much and now I'll seek alternative properties that prioritize service and cleanliness over brand name.
