Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Cochin

It's a small but really beautiful resort. We stayed in the Heritage Sea View room. I got to see dolphins in the morning from my room. The check-in process was really nice. Their staff is awesome. The complementary boat ride and cultural shows were great. Breakfast buffet was pretty good too. The only thing to point out is that the resort is really far away from the main city.

It was a pleasure to return to the Taj Malabar for the third time, and we were celebrating our anniversary. The experience was truly delightful, and the Taj Malabar feels like a home away from home. The moment we entered the property, we felt welcomed. The familiar faces and warm hospitality were greatly appreciated. We stayed in the sunset sea view room, which offered a breathtaking view of the ocean. The rooms were beautifully maintained. The anniversary cake in our room was absolutely delicious. We would like to extend our special thanks to Jasmine, Paul, Vijin, and Mukund for making our stay so memorable.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Taj Malabar Hotel and we loved the hotel and their hospitality. Everything was perfect, be it the location, the view from the room, the food, the infinity pool or the staff’s hospitality. I would also like to mention that the evening boat cruise through the back waters was also a wonderful experience. Special mention to Miss Elizabeth from guest relations who ensured our stay was perfect.

Had a short but truly memorable stay at the Taj Cochin. Chef Subin was fantastic—he quickly prepared the most delicious egg curry with appam that I’ve ever had.||Dinner was also a delight. I asked to be surprised with a few local dishes and was treated to a feast of four! The flavors were incredible, and the hospitality was warm and generous. Both Chef Subin and Alex, who served me, were wonderful.||I also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Mayur Ramachandran—such an engaging conversation, and we even exchanged a few recipes!||A special shout-out to Jasmine at the front desk, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout my stay.||Highly recommend staying here—unforgettable food, warm people, and gracious service.

Just got back from a stay at the Taj Malabar, and we’re still smiling! What really made it special was the kindness and care we received—especially from Elizabeth, the Guest Relationship Manager.||Right from the start, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They didn’t just check us in—They took the time to ask about our family, what kind of experience we were looking for, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t have to ask for much—They somehow always knew what would make things better.||One of our favorite moments was a boat ride around the Kochi backwaters. Elizabeth who was the guide and the guest relationship manager shared so many stories about the history and culture of the area—it felt like we were seeing the place through a local’s eyes. That made the trip extra meaningful.||Also have to give a shoutout to the restaurant staff—everyone was so thoughtful, especially when it came to our food preferences. They remembered the little things and made every meal feel personal.||Taj Malabar is a beautiful hotel, but honestly, it’s the people that make it truly special. |Huge thanks to Elizabeth and everyone who made our stay so memorable. Warm hospitality, beautiful view, very knowledgeable Yoga Master Mr Seeejith, he gave us Yoga lessons everyday from 7 to 8 am which was very relaxing and soothing for the mind and body. We enjoyed the food a lot, appams and stew are un-missable! Though all 3 days of our stay it was raining as per known forecast, the yoga and spa facilities with evening Indian classical dance sessions provided us enough memories to treasure! The hotel exudes a sense of peace that made my stay truly relaxing.||A special mention to Elizabeth at the front desk, who welcomed me warmly and took the time to explain all the services and amenities in great detail—her hospitality set the tone for the rest of my stay.||The fitness centre and spa were definite highlights—well-maintained, serene, and just what I needed to unwind.||Lastly, I truly appreciated the flexibility shown by the team in helping me with a late checkout till 2 PM, given my evening flight. My sister and I had the most enjoyable visit to the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi in early March. In fact, we had such a lovely time that we came back for her birthday weekend, and it was just as amazing. The communication from the staff even before our arrival was very timely, and they helped secretly arrange for cake and birthday decorations in our room. The room itself was tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and had a smart TV. The sunset cruise was lovely as was their infinity pool and the food, ambience, and property were excellent. It is the perfect spot for a getaway, right on the water with beautiful views, a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The staff were outstanding, Jasmine (front desk), Elizabeth (Guest Relations Manager), Alex and Dinesh (restaurant) and Latif, who kindly answered our questions about the plants in their gorgeous landscape. We even got to chat with the front office staff in charge of their one-of-a-kind floral arrangements in the lobby. Thank you all so much! We can’t wait for our next visit.
