The Pamodzi Hotel

I am very disappointed by the service at Taj hotel. I was charged double for my stay and when I brought this to their attention I was assured that I would be refunded within a week of checkout. It has now been over three weeks and I have still not received my refund. The staff is full of excuses when I follow up. I would not recommend staying at this hotel as you may be scammed into paying more than you should. I’d give them a 0/10 if Google allowed me.

This was my 5th stay at Taj Pamodzi hotel Lusaka, I normally stay here for meeting. The hotel is home away from home. There restaurant has a mixture of cuisine from local to western. The breakfast is all point and the food menu cater for everyone from all of life. You can actually request for a tailored dish. The room on the south side from the fifth floor going up have a lovely view of the central business building. The rooms a basic, business style. The hotel has a spa and gym if you like to relax and work. The marula bar has what a bar should have and is never disappointing serving different beverages from non-alcoholic to alcoholic drinks |The hotel is located in the middle of a safe neighbourhood and located a few minutes form the CBD and Zambia’s largest conventional centre. The conference facilities can cater for delegates from as low as five to more than two hundred guests.|The pool area is also great for relaxing, though this time it was under renovation so was the steaks and grill bar.|The staff are extremely professional, from receiving guest to room service.|It home away from home. I’m definitely staying there again.

I had an outstanding experience with this accommodation! The facilities were excellent, and everything was spotless and comfortable. What truly made the stay memorable, though, was the exceptional service provided by Kasapo at the reception desk. Kasapo was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-notch service and comfort!

I would have given the hotel a 5 star rating had it not been for dirt behind the toilet pan where the waste water pipe goes into the wall in room 422. Additionally I locked out of my room three times as my key could not work due to a system upgrade. I had to go the front office for help. The hotel knew they were changing the system hence they needed to station someone on each floor to assist guests.

Great short stay! My daughters took me out on Mother’s Day to just lounge and lazy around for just one night. It was worth every Kwacha. We indulged in pizza in room dining and sipped wine We chatted till early morning had a leisurely breakfast and then went to snooze before our late checkout . It felt like we had been there longer coz of all the unwinding we all did have. Thanks Taj.

Great rustic hotel located in the city of Lusaka, which is convenient for those working from town or happy to do a city tour. The rooms are superb, food is amazing, and room service is great too. Fairly priced aswell.

Not the Taj that you would expect internationally. Our stay was pleasant and safe. However this particular Taj hotel is in need of a serious revamp. Even the chairs I. The restaurant is sagging inward. The waitress staff are not well trained. The food was average and the omelette at breakfast was horrible. The only pleasing part was the check in and check out process. Also the bedding was clean so they get two stars.

Nice big hotel in the city, rooms were ok. Some old style cupboards need a new fresh makeover.
