Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR

The property is located at a great spot. It's quite close to Delhi and there is ample greenery nearby. The rooms are big and spacious and the view is great. There is also a complimentary Pottery class they provide and the swimming pool also has a great view. The in room dining service as well was quite fast. But they don't have sound proof walls, and hence don't allow you to bring in Personal speakers. Also they prohibit outside food/drinks, we were stopped at the gate and it took a bit of convincing to let them allow us. This is the first time i saw such a policy at a supposedly 5 star hotel. I have only seen such policies at cheaper hotels. The property also did seem to have seepage issues on walls in rooms as well as lobbies.

Located in Surajkund, this spacious property boasts lavishly appointed rooms. Our room, 209, in particular, was enormous and offered a stunning view of the fountain. It had a spacious balcony perfect for relaxation and enjoying the day. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, equipped with all the necessary amenities. One area that could be improved is the water quality. It had a slightly unpleasant taste, which could be due to recycled water. The hotel also offers a variety of activities, including rock climbing, net cricket, zip-lining, and pottery. Food-wise, the breakfast buffet is a highlight. It offers a wide range of food options, as well as the ability to order your own items. It’s definitely worth filling yourself up with breakfast. The breakfast experience was even more enjoyable when a flute player approached us and played some amazing music. This was a great way for the hotel to engage with its customers. Overall, we had an extremely satisfying experience at this hotel.

It was a beautiful property, and I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The staff is very attentive, courteous, and extremely customer-friendly.||I would like to take this opportunity to specially thank Saddam from housekeeping. He did an excellent job keeping my room clean and well-organized. He was very quick and efficient whenever I needed any services.||The overall guest service was superb, and I truly appreciate the hospitality. I would definitely recommend this property to others and look forward to staying here again.

The room was great and the views were pretty pleasant. The location near delhi is quite convenient. Enjoyed the complimentary pottery classes.|But poor policies like no speakers and outside food/drinks allowed. Of the several 5 star hotels i have stayed at this is the only one where i have faced this issue.

We stayed at Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR from July 21 to 23 to celebrate a birthday, and overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience. The service staff was exceptionally polite and helpful throughout our stay. We truly appreciated their warmth and hospitality. The welcome gift for our child—a coloring book and crayons—was a sweet gesture that instantly made us feel at home. The room offered a lovely view of lush greenery, which added a peaceful and rejuvenating vibe. The evening ritual of lighting the oil lamp was beautiful and spiritual—we participated in it twice and found it calming. The kids’ playroom was quite impressive with plenty of activities to keep little ones engaged. The pottery experience was one of the highlights—it was therapeutic and fun. We managed to make a small pot and tray, which added a personal and creative touch to our stay. The food was amazing, especially the barbecue pizza and veg pizza—absolutely delicious! However, there were a couple of small let-downs: The complimentary birthday cake we were told about never arrived, which was disappointing considering the occasion. The swimming pool had pigeons around it, which made it uninviting, so we gave it a miss. Despite these minor issues, our stay was enjoyable, and we would love to return for another relaxing getaway.

All aspects were excellent! Rooms size, quality, cleanliness, service - all were excellent. Requests were handled very efficiently. Good polite staff. Location is great, easy access from Delhi. Surajkund and Fair grounds, and Badakal Lake nearby for excursion!

Having stayed at numerous Taj properties across the country, I must say this was by far our most disappointing experience. Reception staff should be trained properly on how to welcome guests. Felt more like some government office where people had to stand in line for checking in as no one from reception reached out to guests for checking in. Same experience was repeated during checkout. Food was kind of average in both buffet and in room dining. Prices are at par with high end Taj resorts but tastes like low end Radisson hotels. Had to ask for water during breakfast as no one cared to ask for it. We make better sandwiches and coffee at our home than the ones we paid 2000 bucks for. House keeping and the staff at the bar did a commendable job. Rooms are fine as per the price paid. One suggestion would be to train staff at oasis and reception properly or maybe get a new team for these areas. At this point it looks more like a training centre rather than a high end hotel like Taj. Another point to note was the strict aversion to credit. Asking to pay then and there for room service, empty mini bars, pre-paying for rooms during checkin. Felt kind of strange as we never see such practices at good 5 star hotels.

Amazing Hotel, fabulous staff, delicious food!!! The decor is beautiful!! Every section is worth spending few min on. A ten on ten with everything. Was amazed by the spirit of their lovely staff whether it was reception or room service or outside activities or buffet or pottery. Every person was so warm. Had a wonderful stay and a memory to cherish ❤️
