Excellent location. Very serene and picturesque. You can sit in the balcony and have sips of your favourite beverage and spend hours with a book in hand. Food was excellent both at Patiala Room and the Multi-cuisine Tragopan. Staff warmth is matchless and they take care of each guest's needs meticulously, service is very good. I would like to specially mention the restaurant Manager Mr. Bhandari Sharma and Ms. Nirju Chandel for their personal attention to us. All the staff were very good. Breakfast spread in Tragopan is very good. We look forward to more visits to this lovely place.

Atop the hills in Himachal Pradesh, the Taj Theog Resort & Spa is the ideal property if you are looking for a vacation away from the city - one with the most serene vistas. Dropping to a chilly -4°C and completely covered in snow in the months of December and January, and a pleasant 8°C in May this place is ideal to visit all year round. The property offers in house activities during the day like movie screenings, bakery, star gazing, among a few. There are 2 restaurants in the property along with a banquet hall and a heated swimming pool. The rooms overlook the most prettiest valley and the lawns have the most breathtaking views. Would definitely visit this property again!

Review: 5/5 – A Wonderful Stay! I recently stayed at TAG THEOG and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a great view of the valley and luckily when we reached it was a raining heavily for consistent days The amenities were top-notch – the pool, jaccuzi, area was clean and relaxing, the gym was well-equipped, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food with plenty of variety. The head chef came and visited us in all meals, the restaurant manager Mr. Bhandari Sir greeted us with huge smiles, Ms. Neeraj was a homely warm person who greeted us like family. I was suffering from cold-cough, on which I asked her to send me some hot water and haldi at the room, but not just water and haldi, she also sent finely chopped ginger, honey, and paracetamol for me. I love the way the staff treated me like a baby here. I also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and the isolated location who wants to stay away from crowd and pollution. Place is comparitively least polluted and well maintained The only one thing is there, if you want to travel to other famous tourist attractions like Mall Road, Kufri, Narkanda etc, you have to drive/hire cab and it takes 1 to 2 hours to reach. Otherwise if you're planning for a leisure stay-cation, it's the best hotel in SHIMLA. I am going to travel once in a Year for sure. Overall, TAJ THEOG exceeded my expectations in every way. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. An unforgettable stay at Taj Theog! Had such a wonderful experience at this property — the service was truly exceptional. From check-in to check-out, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and warm. I had a few special requests for in-room amenities, and Mr. Ankit at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of quickly and smoothly. While I don’t remember the names of the others, every single staff member I interacted with was polite, professional, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the attentive service and people that made the stay truly memorable. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Shimla and looking for a blend of comfort, luxury, and sincere hospitality!

We had a beautiful stay at Taj Theog for 4 nights. We dined in the smaller restaurant each night as we preferred the quiet atmosphere this offered above the main dining. We had Neeraj look after each night, catering to our personal needs. Her personality and excellent skills made our dining experience a pleasure. I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling in this area.

Our stay at Taj Theog was nothing short of exceptional. Located amidst the serene hills, the property offers breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and the signature Taj luxury. Basholi suite in which we stayed was very good with a breathtaking view from the balcony, from where we could enjoye both sunrise and sunset. Thanks to Sachin, the duty manager for giving us an upgarde The staff including gitesh, judih, many more names i dont remember were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The food was delicious, specially the himachali thaali with its Saang. Breakfast was amazing and the cafe terrace added to the menu experience. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of tea on bar balcony tp drinks to live music Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful mountain escape with unmatched service and elegance. Went on a trail with mohit, who was kind enough to carry a thermos with hot ginger tea and cookies and served us after the trek at the mountain peak where we enjoyed the view while sipping the hot tea. Plus icing on the cake was a sweet gesture by Adya, who took pains to get the picture postcard (mailed to her by our children ) printed and went extra mile to make our special day more memorable.
