Taka Ishii Gallery Tokyo

Beautiful gallery. Smaller than I expected. The exhibits were nice, though, it didn't take long to see and take in all the work. Art work is on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Location is kind of tucked away. I used Google maps and that help a lot. Getting off at roppongi station, turn left once you exit, turn left again at shake shack, walk along side of shake shack and you'll see cinnabon ahead. Turn left again and you'll see a small sign on your right for the gallery.

Small but great gallery complex with exhibitions you’re not likely to experience anywhere else in Tokyo.

A Hit and miss gallery. Some art is surprisingly adequate, while other is simply decorative and banal. Pity that they dont push art forward much in Tokyo. even if it is in the top local galleries, it is a far cry from a leading vision. pity...

A cute hidden gallery space worth finding. The woman who was working the space was extremely helpful in explaining the artwork displayed. Venture off the beaten path and make the visit!

Nice, modern and conveniently located space (and free) but only around 6/7 pieces of art

A beautful contemporary gallery focused on art and also the finest Japanese photography of the 20th century.
