Loved our time at Takamaka in Mahé! Amazing cocktails, chill vibes, and a beautiful setting. A perfect spot to relax and soak in the island mood. 🌴🍹

The atmosphere here is simply unique. In this beautifully renovated house you will breathe the past. I definitely recommend a visit although there is not that much to see and you can spend there less than an hour 👍 You can take a look inside the factory, the tour takes only about 20 minutes or just taste the locally produced rum - 6 basic versions or 2 premium ones. In the garden, you can also refresh yourself with a refreshing neo-alcohol, so even children or drivers won't be thirsty 😉

A very exciting attraction in the Seychelles. The distillery is beautifully designed and offers a rum tasting of six different varieties for SR 150, which can also be shared. There are also free guided tours where you can learn more about the production and history of Takamaka rum. Overall, a relaxed and fair experience that we can highly recommend.

You should definitely not miss a free tour with Rebeca (free tours are at 11, 13 and 15 p.m. and they last around an hour without rum tasting). She is such a nice, knowledgable and especially homourous guide. She really does her job professionally. She tells you a lot about history of the destilary, the whole production process, its secrets. After the tour you can have rum tasting (per 150 rupijs), but be careful that you are not hungry and that you do not drive as you can easily get very 'dizzy' or share the rums with someone.

Visit to the Takamaka Rum Distillery was the highlight of our Mahé trip. They offer complimentary tours that delve into both the rum production process and the history behind it. Our guide, the cool Bob Marley-like mate, was a very engaging and fun presenter. It's a must-do free activity that we recommend.

Nice place. The museum is free, you pay for the tour and/or tasting. They have a nice garden with a bar and a food truck with some food, very pleasant space. Great drinks.

It's a must visit part of your Seychelles 🇸🇨 visit, you can't miss this place where ever you are staying in Seychelles. Plan your visit as they have specific timing. We visited during first half of the day and it was not busy. You can try Rums and take amazing pics with Some cool props.
