Takara Sushi

Had freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and whale meats. They are all well prepared. The way they serve dishes was not much sophisticated but overall everything was great. Probably it's slightly expensive compared to the other places in the region but overall quality was great.

Top 3 sushi places in Misawa. Very generous cuts of fish, very fresh. Traditional feeling. You might need a reservation if coming with a group, it gets full.

I’ve been here for 3yrs and in the beginning I went only a few times. Now as I’m leaving, I have a new found appreciation and respect for Takara Sushi. Having gone to so many sushi restaurants worldwide and in Japan as it is my go-to food, I can honestly say it’s worth it. By far the BEST sushi restaurant in Misawa (as a former Hamas girl don’t hate me, but it doesn’t compare to here). The chefs and staff are super friendly, and even brighten your day by “gifting you”. I can honestly say, I’ve never tried a live shrimp 🦐 before, but it was definitely an experience I will never forget and super yummy *I just waited for it to die lol* The portions are large, quality amazing so the price (around $11-18) feels so worth it! This is the type of sushi that’s gonna have you reminiscing because it’s so fresh and down right amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would, absolutely gonna miss this place🥹

This is the best sushi I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious. No conveyor belts or California rolls here at all, just fresh, quality sushi. The sashimi I bought was think, flavorful and absolutely tender. There was no fishy taste to it at all. I don't venture out into much else but there are certainly options available if you're into the more unique types of sushi. They even have live seafood in the tank for you to choose from, including a king crab. I really felt like this place encompasses what you would expect Japan to be. It wasn't flashy, but felt totally traditional and had a totally great ambiance inside. The chef seemed to be diligently working the entire time preparing dishes for another section of the restaurant that appeared to be a private dining room. I was interested in the he was making and he told me about the kinds of fish he was preparing. Definitely a must if you like sushi and sitting on the floor in a classic Japanese setting.

Best Sushi in Aomori Prefecture, Misawa Township! Perfect atmosphere, Sushi chef had us trying different specialties as complimentary. If you are in the area and want high grade, high quality sushi this is the spot! I highly recommend this sushi restaurant and will be back many more times! Parking is not really an option, but nearby car parks and an easy walk. Awesome experience!

Authentic, fresh sushi with friendly chef and attentive servers! The store vibe is awesome with a big tank full of fish, crab, shells, shrimp, etc. Nice japanese style tables and private rooms. All the fish were so fresh! The real grated wasabi was DELICIOUS. My absolute favorite was the otoro tuna. The pieces are so thick with a good ratio with the rice.
