UPDATED: How to ruin a great experience? Cut the last piece of cake in half after it is ordered. You get: 1 upset customer 1 bad review 2 tiny disappointing cake pieces priced by 80,- ..many decent places offer the last piece of cake free with the previous, or discount it to get rid of it. Cutting it in half is a spin off nobody asked for. Congratulations for losing once loving customer. OLD: Take 5 - every café shall be like this! - great coffee - superb pastries - delicious local goods - homemade dishes - open kitchen - attractive interior - friendly staff - offer changes by season ..this place is a worthy visit if you like to snack and seek the best quality and inspiration.

Best coffee in Brno by far. Excellent quality of products, and the store concept is very cozy.

Take 5 is a cozy, pleasant place where you can enjoy excellent coffee, sweet pastries, and more. I was pleasantly surprised by the personalized customer service. I just had an espresso tonic on a hot summer day and was completely satisfied. I definitely recommend this place and will return for more.

Absolutely THE PLACE for coffee in Brno. If you don't want just to get your obligatory daily dose of caffeine but really dive into the world of specialty coffee. This is the place!

Great coffee and the absolutely best cakes and sweets that you can get! You can tell that it's all made with love and great passion. I've had today carrot-cake muffin with eggnog center and meringue on top and it was a little bit of heaven. The unique combiations of the tastes in sweet and savoury baked goods and the kindness of the owners will make you come back for more! I don't even live in the area but I still have to visit this place every now and then, it's so totally worth it!

Delicious home made pastries (esp. croissants, baguettes, and breads), cakes (esp. the choco one), and coffee. Dedicated and kind service. Recommended not only for the case you're nearby in Brno-Židenice (going e.g. for PCR test🙂).

Beautiful shop with great ambience in an unexpected place. Testy coffee, always brimming over with sweets & baked stuff. Gluten free cakes are a nice cherry on top.
