Came on July 28 2025. Attended the Segway tour which consists of 45 minutes of training and a 1-2 hour tour across the park on the segway(highly recommended.). Good scenery and there is an area for children to have fun with water parks, slides, inflatable castles and even a hill where they can play Sisyphus with a large red ball. Good for family trips.

Such a beautiful place to spend the day! Tulips were in full bloom when we visited and they were spectacular! The waterfalls and cherry blossoms were also a highlight! The sound of local birds singing as you walk through the forests is so calming. And if you have kids, the children’s play areas look like so much fun!

Great place to come with kids for a play and explore. Play areas are quite spread out so you can do some walking to. Lots of kids had nets to catch dragonflys.

Lovely park, not only with bountiful of flowers in May but also the waterfall was spectacular to see. There was so much more of the park that I didn’t explore but I wish I stayed half a day there! There are three parking areas, the Chuo gate is suitable for people who are not physically fit if you would like to see the waterfalls and flower area. There is a parking fee and entrance fee (per person). But it is reasonably priced. I would come here again if I visited Sapporo in the future!

Beautiful tulip park during early summer. Huge garden with many facilities. If you are taking public transport, take note that the last bus out during weekday is at 4:30 pm. Which is weird since the park closes at 5 pm. They should arrange bus after the park closing time in my opinion.

Beautiful flower garden! Went during the summer. You can spend about 1.5 hours here. Would combine with the waterfall and the cemetery or the Makomanai art museum.

A Beautiful Escape into Nature! Visited Takino Suzuran Hillside Park with family and had an amazing time! The park is huge and beautifully maintained with something for everyone — wide open fields, flower gardens, gentle hills, and forest trails. Kids loved the playgrounds and the giant slide. In spring and summer, the flower fields are stunning — especially the tulips and lavender. In winter, it’s a whole different world with snow activities like tubing, sledding, and cross-country skiing. Perfect for families and nature lovers any time of year. Plenty of picnic spots and clean facilities. Parking was easy, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Sapporo and want to enjoy Japan’s natural beauty!

We had a fantastic experience at this ski resort! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our visit smooth and enjoyable. We visited during the early February 2025 weekend, and the weather was just perfect—crisp, clear, and ideal for skiing. The resort offers a spacious area, ensuring plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their activities without feeling crowded. My kids had a wonderful time playing with their sleds in the designated sledding area, while their older brother thoroughly enjoyed skiing on the well-maintained slopes. The resort provides an excellent balance of activities, catering to both beginners and experienced skiers. The facilities were clean, well-organized, and easily accessible. Rental equipment was in great condition, and the process was efficient. There were also several cozy spots to warm up and relax after a fun day on the slopes. Overall, this ski resort is a perfect destination for families, offering a mix of adventure and relaxation. The well-managed environment and friendly atmosphere make it a place we’d love to return to in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great skiing experience with family or friends!
