We have tried many takoyakis around Japan, but this place by far is the best, hands down! Tucked in between the seafood stalls in Uontana Market, the queue to this place wasn't long when we went. Within the diner are tables and chairs squeezed in a tight space, giving you a real Japanese dining feel. As for the star of the show, you get 15 pieces of takoyakis in a platter, and mind you, the taste is unlike any other that you would have had. Silky smooth with a creamy and 'eggy' taste coupled with the springy crunch of the generous portion of octopus pieces, every bite is a moment to saviour. On the side is hot bonito soup and spring onions for you to drench the takoyaki and eat them. You don't taste any flour like the typical ones especially around Osaka. Highly recommended!
