This place is absolutely gorgeous and so picturesque, after the tourist hubub of Istanbul and Ephesus this is just what I needed. The views from the many terraces are stunning, watching the sunset over the bay will be a highlight of my entire trip. My room itself was basic but had everything I needed, comfy with aircon (even though I never use) with a bathroom just across the hall. The owner was helpful and pointed me in the right direction for food and onward travel. The breakfast for extra price was impressive and I couldn’t eat it all. Even though there isn’t much in Ayvalik itself I would recommend coming just to stay in this hostel!

So beautiful and relaxing place. Though not cheap, according to Turkish rates, it is highly recommended. It has common toilets, but it is cleaner than our houses! Yasmin, the owner is a very kind and helpful lady.

We stayed here as part of a tour group I was on. The room was small with two beds that were comfortable; the bathroom is shared for the floor. You never know who you are going to get paired up with for roommates, but I was very fortunate that I had a good roommate and who slept quietly. The service was good, as well as the breakfast. There is a nice view of the city from the patio on the second floor.

This is a quaint pension well located to all Ayvalik has to offer. The old building is reached by traversing numerous cobbled streets that aren’t suitcase friendly. The building has numerous rooms and bedding configurations with shared bathrooms and showers. Steep staircases join the floors. A communal kitchen is on offer as are 2 verandas with nice views over the town. Our basic room had an aircon unit but I’m not sure all do. Our room had light window coverings that struggled to keep the room dark especially given we were adjacent to a street light. Being a wooden floorboard house you can hear others moving around the property. The host seemed kind and the property clean. Breakfast was nice but relatively sparse. All in all a nice, full of character property.

It was such a great place to stay. Beautiful rustic historical house with a very welcoming staff. I felt like home there. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in the terrace was best to start a good day. Would recommend it to everyone.

This place is so so beautiful, charming, super clean and unique. It’s less than ten minutes walking to the city center. The breakfast is great. I highly recommend it. This place looks like a movie set, it’s unbelievably beautiful. Yasaman is the lady who manages it she does a great job in keeping it super clean. Although the bathrooms are shared since they are so clean I had no issue with it.

We loved this place mostly because of the lovely patio where you can view the city and see ot the ocean. Breakfast was there in the morning and it was so peaceful. It was clean, the owners were so nice, and rooms basic but very comfortable. Amazing to see what these houses are like on the inside too.

We stayed at this pension for 5 nights and we loved it. The owners Boro and Jasmine are very warm welcoming hosts. The pension is very clean, safe, a beautiful 240 years house, loved the design and interior decor, breakfast is generous and delicious Turkish breakfast, nice views from the terrace, the pension is a walking distance to the centre, we will defenitely stay here again.
