Takumi 匠 Japanese Fine Dining

I had the pleasure of visiting Takumi, and the experience started with a lovely surprise .i was invited upstairs to their bar for a welcome drink, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The moment you step inside, the beautiful design transports you straight to Japan ,the atmosphere is warm, elegant, and truly immersive. As for the food… absolutely lovely! I tried the sushi, salmon tartare, and steak, and I enjoyed every single dish. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be coming back, highly recommended!

This was definitely an experience! The staff is very inviting and knowledgable. They're incredibley helpful but without being too in your face. We really enjoyed the sake tasting, and the food was outstanding - especially the steak with the sauce assortment. Highly recommend as a group outing or romantic date!

Had such an amazing fine dining experience at Takumi Bali. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted authentic, truly a journey of flavors. What made it even more special was being able to watch the chef prepare the dishes right in front of us, such a beautiful touch of Japanese craftsmanship. The vibe was calm and cozy, and the staff were really kind and friendly. Plus, we received a lovely polaroid photo as a gift from Takumi, such a sweet and memorable :) An exquisite fine dining experience that perfectly combines taste, service, and ambiance.

Had a very delicious lunch here. If I could give more stars to chef Daijiro and team, I would. I and my friend ordered kaiseki lunch with black miso cod, tempura prawn, green tea soba, seasonal carpaccio, house salad, tofu & seaweed salad, daifuku and Purin pudding. Each one of them really hit the spot. Definitely will come back when I go to Seminyak

Came to have a japanese lunch here and we had a really enjoyable time with amazing and quality food while also receiving excellent friendly service from all the staffs Also our server mr nanda was really great in caring for us and serving us. Very patient and explained every dish in detailed manner. It was my girlfriend’s birthday hence we received a celebratory dessert with a picture. Amazing and perfect ambiance.

We went to Takumi Bali for our anniversary and it was such a great choice. From the start, everything felt easy and welcoming. even valet parking, which is always a nice touch in Bali. Service was spot-on: friendly, attentive, and you could tell they really cared about the food they were serving. The dishes showed great Japanese technique without feeling fussy. The steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, the Japanese curry was rich and comforting, and the sides were all on point. almost like a kaiseki-style spread but in an à la carte format. Dessert was a great finish, balanced and not overly sweet. For the quality, presentation, and service, I think the pricing is very fair… you get a fine dining feel without it being overpriced or pretentious. Definitely a spot we’d come back to. We felt so special from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. They greeted us by name as soon as we got out of our transport, the service was impeccable, all the staff was so nice! The omakase was genuinely so high quality, creative and delicious - we really enjoyed learning about all the different cooking techniques the chef used and where the ingredients were sourced from. We couldn’t find a fault with anything - food, service or ambiance. Would definitely recommend!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had — on par with many of the top international restaurants I’ve had the fortune of trying before. Service was warm and personal. With just the right balance of personal space vs. attention (some places overdo it, and diners get interrupted too often). Food was fresh, inventive, and thoughtful. It’s hard to explain in words, but with each dish, we can feel that the chef cared about the details and took pride in his creations. Ambience and environment was top notch too. Table lighting was perfect (for eating and for taking photos!); toilets were immaculately clean.
