Lovely little food court with an extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable butcher; Groovy Moo ice cream parlour; Rare Bird Distillery; exquisite Florian Poirot patisserie for that something special; the ever yummy Bluebird Bakery and a fantastic coffee roasters called Roost. Can definitely recommend Florian and Roost. Worth visiting this food court if you are in Malton.

An incredible asset to the town showcasing local talent and produce. I wish our town could do something similar!

We only went to the coffee roasters in Talbot Yard but it was very nice coffee. The area itself is a nice place to sit as its away from the busy main road. There's a selection of small shops, including a bakery, ice-cream parlour and patisserie.

Popped in to the yard walking into Malton and again on the way out for an ice cream from the Groovy Moo which is always spectacular. Had a lovely coffee from Roost, bread and various savouries from Bluebird Bakery. Yet to eat our purchases from the butchers

Macaroons fabulous, quiche from the butchers really tasty but unfortunately the steak and ale pie from the butchers was poor. Meat was tough and like chewing rubber bands, hence the 3 star review.

First visit, dropped in when visiting food festival (partly due to seeing on Hairy Bikers TV) Only went for a quick nose around and ended up partaking in fresh pies, scotch eggs, macarons, icecream, beer and cider before leaving with a couple of bottles of the excellent gin 🙃
