Talbot's Tower

It features interpretive panels that narrate its story and the history of Kilkenny's medieval walls. While the park is accessible, direct access to the tower itself may be restricted due to steep steps, though tours can sometimes be arranged by appointment. Nice quick stop off if you're in the area. Very clean, a few benches for the little legs to have a rest. Unfortunately there is a locked gate at the bottom of the stairs. A few interesting info signs to read.

It's on a side street in kilkenny (around the corner from (tech tom(counseling centre),that has a yellow buddy bench outside the door ) Parking on the street, paid parking ! Its free entrance In to the area ,pretty I like to go after sunset and the views from the top are pretty beautiful .. Small tower of remaining wall from medieval time most has been removed

The Talbot Tower has been restored and the public viewing area enhanced with informative information boards outlying its history. Another of the important historical sites that are well worth a visit. This tower was part of the city walls,The information on it is brief but interesting.a nice spot to take a brief rest if you have been sight seeing.pity that you cant get to see the inside though. I remember it when there was huge boards protecting it from view and me taking pictures through holes in 2017. Now it is a proper memorial. Nice little spot This was one of the things to see on the city map given out to tourists, there was a little information on the boards out the front
