An incredible experience - genuine Māori culture that is both entertaining and educational. The whānau (family) that runs this place is wonderful, warm, inviting, and deeply immersed in Māori culture. 10/10 recommend this experience for those wanting to see and learn about the Māori people and culture. 5 stars🔥

The evening show and dinner was amazing to watch. The atmosphere was very powerful and a genuine feeling of belonging to the Māori tribe. We were made very welcome and it began with four different stories where the life of the tribe was explained and included participation of the guests but it was tastefully done. This was followed by a performance by the group of young people from the tribe which was very moving. Finally we were shown how the dinner was prepared. The dinner included canapés at each stage and then a three course dinner with a negroni and coffee. A fantastic evening of tasteful entertainment and a wonderful dinner with a great atmosphere.

We had a great time. I learned a few things more a out the Màori culture. I even participated in one of the warrior practice. The meal was fantastic. The singing was great. The group even sang a song from each of countries where the visitors were from. Very impressive.

The Māori people of TE PĀ TŪ are amazing. Their culture is beautiful and their program was engaging and moving. I came in with no expectations, and am glad I did. I watched, observed and interacted with a people who were passionate about their shared heritage and culture. The education stations were fun and fascinating. The concert and dance was extremely energetic and well performed. It seemed that we may have had mainly the younger generation the night I was there as there was a major competition happening, and though the crew may have made some tiny mistakes, they made up for it in passion and emotion. The food was delicious and I enjoyed the opportunity getting to know our table mates (though I imagine it may be a little more uncomfortable for introverted people). Overall, I left a little better of a man, and a happily-fed one at that.

Kia Ora!! Thank you so much for letting us become a part of your family. We loved the whole experience from the welcome ceremony, the homes and different activities with the canopes along the way, and finally the showcase of your beautiful talents! It was well worth the trip wish we lived closer

Travel agent added this dinner to our trip. Having no expectations going in we had a great time. It is a must stop for any foreigner interested in learning New Zealand culture. We learned a lot, had a great time, enjoyed a great communal dinner. The energy of the tribe families is infectious.
