I only stayed here one night, but was so impressed with my stay. I chose this hotel as it was so affordable and right next to ShiShi where I had a work event. Being so close to a nightclub and other venues I thought for sure it was going to be noisy, but it was absolutely silent. They've done such a good job hiding the place from the outside area. The room was HUGE. The bathroom was HUGE. Had a big wardrobe with heaps of hangers that would be so convenient for longer stays. I thought it was weird that they had pool style towels as the bath towels but they were also HUGE and fluffy so was pleased with that choice. Both the check in and check out staff were an absolute delight. There is a restaurant on site out the front as well as a little breakfast eatery inside but I didn't get the chance to try either out.

The personnel are very helpful, the location is great. BUT it is a very old building, every things are is very old, and need a complete renovation. The staff in the kitchen are very nice, but the kitchen is dirty. There is a nice pool, but there are abundant amount of CL in it for hygiene, that you can’t breath normally.

I do not recommend! Unfortunately had to check out not long after checking in. Bed was hard as anything with 2 single beds pushed together. Bed linen had blood spots on them, pillow cases smelt like they hadn’t been washed. I asked for new bed linen instead i was waiting for 30 mins to be given a brown/yellow blanket. Bathrooms lights are very dim. The only thing that was nice about this hotel was the garden. Still waiting for a refund.

A simple, quiet yet very well located budget hotel.||On our first night, our room was 'invaded' by a family of rats in the ceiling. Terrible, but this can happen in older, and tropical environments. ||We informed the staff, who immediately upgraded us to a lovely and private Vila. Very professional and caring.||Taman Ayu is located perfectly for all the cafes and shops of Seminyak, yet sits within a quiet enclave. ||If you are looking for a nice, well located budget hotel in Seminyak this hotel is worth considering.

Stayed here many times. Great location. Rooms are dated but good value for money. Nice pool. Cafe at front is perfect. |What’s concerning now is the number of “long term” residents that treat this hotel as their home. They frown upon any tourists having a bit of fun!! |The staff are fantastic especially Sri & Trisna! Thanks

The only good thing about this hotel is how close it is to other things like Shi Shi and Heaven, which meant i did not have to enter this excuse of a hotel for any longer than I had to. The reception is manned by one person and I was told I would get complementary breakfast at the restaurant. After looking at the restaurant (one fridge, two tables, five chairs, no staff) I would be willing to pay them as a request to not serve any breakfast to me. The locker was extremely difficult to operate but thankfully there was no one else staying at this unfortunate place so I knew there would be no risk of getting my belongings taken from me. There was no handwash so I'm guessing they don't really care about the hygeine of customers and both the body soap and the shampoo were in dispensers, they were extremely diluted so to have enough soap to take a shower meant emptying the dispenser every time, not to mention the soap and the shampoo had the same consistency so if you weren't smelling it, you would not know which is which as there were no labels either. I had to spend double the money on a cab from the airport to this place and frankly I don't know what they're using the money on, I'm guessing it's to maintain the swimming pool which was the only bearable part of the hotel - probably because no one was entering it so they didn't have to clean it at all. 10/10 would recommend!

The service and staff are wonderful but the room was not clean! The bathroom was old and dirty the towels has dirt spots on them and the bedsheets too. There were blood spots on the bedsheets. They need to invest in better washing service.
