Taman Sari Bali Resort & Spa

This place is fantastic, we would have happily stayed here for weeks if we could. It is lovely and quiet here and the snorkeling from the beach is incredible. The whole resort is beautifully manicured and the studio rooms with the outdoor showers are very luxurious. The staff are all so helpful and friendly and the beach restaurant is a lovely place to sit, there are also lots of other great restaurants nearby. Can't recommend Taman Sari enough.

Overall our family had a great stay in one of the beach front rooms which are very spacious with an outside bathroom area. The breakfast was filling with a good range of choices. The pools and the beach provided good swimming options. The grounds were spacious with helpful and friendly staff. Prices for our stay were very reasonable. Our only small issue was the number of dogs around the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed the area and hotel so much we extended our stay a few days.

The grounds were beautiful. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant and the food was subpar... lacking in flavor and creativity. Seemed like a menu from 20 years ago. Yoga classes would have been a nice offering given that the resort has "Yoga Shala" advertised. The beach is beautiful and the resort has great seating in shaded and sunny areas. We had trouble attracting the staff's attention to get drinks and food most of the time.

This is a beautiful resort right on the beach of the Bali Sea. The resort has over 30 one-room separate villas on well-maintained grounds with a pool, a spa, an outdoor bar and an open-air restaurant. The villas are fairly close together, but that wasn't a problem. My husband and I stayed two nights in a "Grand Deluxe Garden Villa." It was spacious with a big lounge chair, a window seat, a mini fridge under a cabinet and a nice outdoor bathroom. The front windows and door had no screens so the room was a little dark, but there was a big window on the side and in the back. Included in the very reasonable price was a good breakfast with both Balinese and Western food. The entire staff - at the front desk, at the pool, at the spa and in the restaurant -- was wonderful, welcoming and attentive. The location was perfect for taking a boat trip to the protected waters around Menjangan Island for amazing snorkeling and diving. There are also lots of other restaurants on the main road, which is a short walk away.

Great resort! Nice beach for snorkeling. Food is so so, often served cold. Breakfast is also not amazing. Beautiful garden, nice music band at night. Rooms are becoming old now after so many years of operation and need to be refreshed.

This is a very good place to stay for a few days. We had a studio booked and this was more than enough for the two of us. They views from every place, from our room, over the open areas in the hotel and at the beach side are stunning. The beach side is facing east, so in the early morning there is a beautiful sunrise when there are no clouds on the horizon. The staff is very helpfull, kind, polite and nice. The breakfast is a wide range of many dishes and choices. Even in the evening the staff is lighting some lamps and anti mosquito smoke thingies on the rooms.

The restaurant in this hotel is really good. It's located right in front of the beach, and the atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable. The food is great. I'm looking forward to staying here in the future.

I spend two nights at one of the beautiful villas with a private pool we shared with another villa (although we hardly saw the neighbours). The hotel is really well maintained and clean. The restaurant with diner and breakfast is right on the beach and food is good. You do have to be patient for diner as they do take a lot of time.
